The WORST landlord and human I have EVER met! Kenneth told me he was the owner of the property and…read moreis not! Kenneth Leonard is a DB told me he would be the BEST landlord I ever had! After the lease was signed he said I could not park out front unless I had a BMW or Mercedes. I had section 8 for 23 years and because I had a fiancé he called housing took me to court lied saying the police had been to the apartment several times and my fiancé was living with me, he has his own apt ! I am now homeless!!! He also entered my apartment w/o my knowledge many times. He screamed in my face threatened eviction starting the first month and every month after.He made me get rid of my service pet or I would be evicted! The apt. was tiny and the fridge and stove were old the walls were so thin u could hear everything the other tenants did he did condition checks constantly I only lived there for a year. He cleaned out under the porch said it was my stuff and gave me a bill for $300 threw away everything on my deck but left the next door neighbor's stuff. The downstairs apt had 4 different tenants in the yr I was there he also did the same thing to the 1st tenant (single female) she was lucky enough to get a new place before he destroyed her life and took her housing. He said he would only rent to section 8 because nobody is paying ,if u are female he will be sure you don't have a man in your life he is a creep he banged on the door almost daily,wearing a sweat suit with cape cod ken written down the arm and leg (narcissist) he also was outside my bedroom window with a pressure washer when I got out of the shower! When I sad wtf he said "didn't you hear the pressure washer?" I was told they were only cleaning the back porch!!! I was in a car accident and was having my vehicle towed to the driveway he said absolutely not I had to call the police I was in the right he was so angry he threatened the tow truck driver in which police had to intervene! The caller proposed a no-down purchase for asking price, and later, well above asking. We discussed 50% down, but he wanted 0% down. Since he was not paying money up front, the caller proposed that I, the seller, could obtain a home equity loan and that he, as the buyer, could pay off a full-amount note for the property that he would purchase for a period of time, as short as two years, before a balloon note kicks in to play, at an interest rate under 10%. This unsolicited proposal may have some merit, but to me, it doesn't pass the smell test for a real estate company in Massachusetts to call a stranger in Texas with no prior connections to make such a dubious proposal. A deal, too good to be true, comes to mind. If I thought it to be legit, I would hire a professional note consultant to avoid a bankrupt scam. The caller said he routinely called many For-sale-by-owners. Don't mess with seniors who have time to write Yelp Experience Reviews. The property asking was $1.55 million, by the way.

There was never a missed opportunity to point out that our house "showed poorly" because of the "unique" kitchen and "strange" layout. Wasn't this the same house she couldn't wait to list? Sales is more than just unlocking the door? We went with the Sotheby name despite a bad vibe on our meetings prior to signing the agreement. Should have gone with our gut. The potential buyers couldn't have helped but get the same negativity we rec'd. Oh well, hopefully the new agent will work for us to move the property and actually SELL it.
