My Godparents are buried here and I enjoy visiting them because this is such a quiet and reflective space. Therefore, my experience with Soller-Baker is very limited. In my short time I was there I was very pleased with the experience. The facility is very large which was needed to accommodate our large group. The layout was very open, easy to manage in & out and comfortable. The decor was reasonably fresh and appropriate for the environment. We found the facility very clean and well organized. There was plenty of parking close to the entrance. Upon coming in the door the host team was very respectful and helpful. They were kind and gracious as they should be.

I just want to say that I was so impressed with how professional and detail oriented this company is. I'm sure they've seen every possible situation pop up, so they were prepared for anything, accommodating, and worked as a team to set up a really lovely service. Our liaison has a way of talking people through uncomfortable situations with kindness and humor, and he made the whole rushed, sad process so much easier. The Preplanner had sweet things to say about our loved one, and I admire how she had the respect for him to get to know him and treat him with dignity.

My daughter had my mower picked up. I am 77 and not in the best of health; she did not want me to…read morehave to work on it. The battery would not stay charged. I also needed new belts and blades. The mower was a Cub Cudet zero-turn. It was 8 years old. They came and picked it up. First claimed the battery was bad; when I pointed out I had bought it there, it was good. They said so much wrong that they wanted me to buy a new one from them. I said no. They did several things to it in the tune of $900.00 brought back after about 2 and a half weeks. The same day they brought it back, it was sputtering, and the engine was not running correctly. I noted it was far worse after they fixed it. One of the things that they said was wrong was that gas was dirty. So they put on filters, etc., to fix that problem. I decided something must be wrong with the filter; they had put in the wrong filter, and there were no clips on the hoses holding it on. Ordered a new filter, which only took me 24 hours for the parts I needed. They claimed they were waiting for parts because they were having trouble fixing it. When they returned it, it was not returned with my key. I'm not sure where they found this one, but mine was marked; the one they gave me was hard to use, so I had to order another one. I have been in the store several times. If you are dealing with the repair department, you will always have to wait for 40 to 60 minutes. They never give you the same answer. They need someone who knows what's going on with a repair at any time. It takes many explanations forever to get anywhere with them. Oh, and by the way, I still have trouble with having to charge the mower every time I use it. No, I would not purchase or take any implement to be fixed. On a side note, while I was sitting there, an elderly lady asked about her mower. The salesperson told her hers was no good and was trying to sell her a new one. He then told her they would sell her old one for her. Hmm, if it was no good, why sell it to someone else? Very hard to find someone to work on the mowers, but I would definitely look elsewhere. They were not pleasant, nor was I.

I came here to pay my respects to Emmett Kelly. Interestingly, there's a lack of information about…read moregetting to his grave, so I'd like to clear that up. Rest Haven has no sections that are clearly labeled for visitors, although he is theoretically in the Sunset Terrace section near the entrance. To get to him, you need to get through the second entrance. There's one entrance with a sign displaying the cemetery rules in front of a triangular plot of land, but that's not the right one for getting to him. You want to go to the second entrance, just a tiny bit farther down the road. You'll see a mailbox there immediately inside the cemetery. Drive through this entrance and park your car immediately. His section is going to be on your right. Walk past the trees that are on your right just a little bit and then walk further into the section. He's pretty close to the middle. If you hit the little area with the hedges surrounding it, you've gone too far. He's almost exactly in the middle of the section, but slightly more to the right. If you have trouble finding him still, I recommend downloading the Billion Graves app which has markers labeled by coordinates. This helped me get to him, but I still had to wander through the section a little bit. His stone is bronze and is VERY close to another row of stones. Rest Haven is not gated, so you can drive through there anytime--preferably daytime. One star off for not having sections labeled or some signage for visiting this American icon.
