The cabins are well equipped, clean, and comfortable. Our kids loved the pool and were in it everyday. We are happy we choose a resort with a nice, clean pool. Our 13 and 11 yr old sons said they were HAPPY to give up electronics to go out on the boat, which was a BIG win! They had all the extras we forgot such as a lighter for the grill and a wine opener. The cabins are currently about 50 yards from the water so the walk down and back up was no problem. We rented their pontoon boat and had a great couple of days out on the water catching fish, swimming, tubing, and enjoying the view! You cannot go wrong here as you will feel right at home! Definitely going to make this an annual family trip!

Even if there was hot water, there is no water pressure...can't get more than a trickle out of the shower head. Some of the outlets are so loose, plugs won't stay in. The kitchenette is very dark with no light above the stove...very difficult to see to cook...had to use my cellphone flashlight above the stove. There are broken blinds in the bedrooms so it's pretty bright in the morning. The basement does not have an inside entrance so if you have children staying in the basement, their entrance is outside, around the corner, and down the stairs. None of this is disclosed in the listing. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

There are golf carts that can be rented during your stay, which was very helpful for such a large spread out group. They would rate a 5th star if there were some easier means of communicating between cabins - with our large group, lack of in-cabin phones, and poor cell signals out there it was often difficult to coordinate our activities, but we managed. There is wifi available near the pool/office and lodge area, which was handy. We had poor to no cell signal throughout the grounds (T-Mobile and ATT), but if you are not trying to manage a large group it's probably not a big deal. The cabins are various sizes and are very fitting of the wooded surroundings. They have a full kitchen with stove, fridge, dishes and silverware. They also have at least one separate bedroom (some have multiple bedrooms or loft areas). The lake is very clean and clear and the resort has its own dock area for swimming and boating. The area around the lake is thick forest; however, the area is moderately built up so there are few trails around for hiking. A great experience overall and definitely a place I would return to.

An easy drive or you can catch the trolley right in front of the hotel. While it's not fancy, the room has what you need. The bed is not the most comfortable I've ever slept in but it's not bad either. The fridge is a mini but a large model! You can get a pretty good bit of stuff in it. A microwave and coffee maker with a smaller bag of local coffee. A larger screen smart TV with Roku and you can sign into any of your services here. Some are provided. I'm not a huge fan of the lodge decor (I don't like animal hides) but it is cozy and I appreciate the theme. A nice little table in the room as well. The shower/toilet area is very small but fine and the shower has good water pressure. The water temp did fluctuate a bit. My guess is because it's an older hotel, but not so bad that you couldn't make it through your shower. There's not really anyone on site if you need something. They leave some supplies (like towels/toilet paper) in an office area where you can grab some. There were definitely no fancy amenities but there is a salt water pool and a sitting area with a fire pit. Plenty of parking in the lot when we were there. Overall, I thought it was in a great location and was definitely worth the money we paid. We spent very little time in our room and mainly just slept and got dressed there so we didn't need much extra. If you prefer more luxury, this might not be the place for you but you'll also need to increase your budget. For anyone who wants a nice place to stay but doesn't need extra fancy, this is a great deal! I would highly recommend!

Made the booking through a website and were given a room number and key code for its electric door lock. No contact or interaction with staff which doesn't bother me in the slightest. This is an older motel that had been lovingly renovated in a sportsman / lodge theme. They really put in the effort and it shows. Most furnishings appear to be hand made from sawmill lumber and the room was cozy and inviting. They used the "retro" style microwave and refrigerator as well. In front of each room are two patio chairs and a table. There is a large covered deck area near the main entrance with a fire pit feature that we didn't visit but looks like fun. Only minor downside was the bed itself appeared to be from a fish camp as well. Metal bolted frame that creaked anytime you moved slightly. Distracting but not enough to cost them a star. Change the bed out and would give you a six star review!

The main thing that makes this place so special is that gorgeous infinity pool that looks right onto tablerock lake. The pool is where we hang out when some of our family want to go out on the boat and some of us don't. We spend most nights at the pool ---and everyone we meet is so friendly. My kids love it and we will continue to come as often as we can and recommended it to as many people as we can.

The resort is located on shared land so it's not private. We were interested in the Moriah which offers an amazing view but it's literally located right off the dirt road. Your guests would be parking and sitting down within 50 feet of their cars. If you book a package with a cabin, make sure the cabin isn't for sale. Plus they only ever had cabin 6 or the "house" open. The roads leading up to the cabins are treacherous. They mention how easy it is to cancel for "whatever" reason necessary but don't explain it's not a full refund. Visit the place before booking.

Nicely furnished and cleaned. The large grills and picnic tables under the pavilion were great for cooking for everyone and eating as the food came off. A walk down to the docks was not far at all. A swing and ladder made it great for sitting there and watching the swimmers. Ice cream parlor opened every night was a treat after a long day. They have charcoal grills, a kitchen, stove and microwave. We did most of our breakfast and lunch there but went out for dinner in Rodgers and Prairie Creek.
