The husband and I came across this place when we were just driving around one Sunday. What a blast! Nicole was our bartender and cracked us up all night!! The place is a local establishment, and we felt right at home. Nicole really made us feel at home! We laughed the entire night and definitely plan to go back and visit again! Was loving the smash burgers but something's gone downhill. The buns are cheap now and the fry oil looks like it needs to be changed.

Be careful here! We stopped down to have a beer. At first we were having a good time, there was a younger guy playing a guitar and singing. He was GREAT! We drank 2 beers each. My cousin did a shot with a guy and from there she dont remember anything. She was sick and slept for like 14 hours. Perfect dive bar. Located right on the water, park in the shaded spots and head on in. Local hangout but friendly to newcomers. Cash bar only and recently sold/bought. This is what you think of when you imagine super old dive bar that has been cleaned fairly well. A pirate and Kraken are hanging out in the corner. Outdoor seating. Beer choices are minimal but there should be something for everyone as long as you are not super picky. Loved our time here and loved getting to meet some new people. read more

If you're looking for a seedy dive bar in Hudson this is the place! A lil smokey for my liking, but the beer is generally cold and there is an outside area on the water. Can be fun if you make it out alive. The 20th Hole is another interesting locals establishment. Or you can step up a little to Skinny's. read more

Ok, Fisherman's Shack is aptly named. It is a dive bar and the best dive bar on the planet. You want to have a fun time with good people and GREAT music this is the place for you. It is a locals bar and that should be a sign of something good. We found it on Gotonight.com and we went three times in a week. The menu is an assortment of potato chips so if you go eat first. Once you get inside a whole new and interesting world opens up to you, kind of like the scene where Dorothy opens her door and enters Munchkinland. I love it. I love the ambiance. Very unfriendly locals bar. The blatant pot smoking out back in broad daylight and rude locals making one feel unwelcome made it a place I don't care to frequent. Ordered a beer to take outside and enjoy, but the paper cup beer for outside is a hell of a lot smaller than the beer in a glass glass served indoors for the same price. They have real crappy, real loud music on the weekends that I am forced to listen too when I am in my back yard even though I live half a mile away from the bar. read more

I don't know why the other reviews say it is rowdy. I have been there many times and it is laid back, people are having fun. Everyone knows each other so it is safe. The beer is less expensive than everywhere else, there are live bands. I recommend you go down and have a good time with good people! I prefer there over 20th hole. There is never much going on there, not many people, unless there is an event. Skinny's is full of the younger crowd, not my thing! Also, The cops wait outside skinny's to give out DUI's. Very divey bar, rowdy bikers there, live band on the weekend, very friendly waitstaff, too much smoke and smokers inside, made my clothes smell. Band was good, people were dancing and enjoying themselves. I did not feel the safest there because of the rowdy men. read more

Middle aged biker type dive bar. No frills place to get a cold beer and catch a few tunes. I've been there a few times to see a musician friend, Mark Shane. He plays at dive biker bars all around and this is one of my favorite. Whats weird is that the "unrecommended" reviews of this place I found to be more accurate. Some of the people look rough but it is just a close knit bunch of locals looking to unwind. They are friendly, just talk to them! Sit in the corner, and you won't be bothered. Right on the water with a decent outdoor area and cheaper beer than almost anywhere makes this place a winner to me. read more

I am a redneck at heart and I Loved this little hole in the wall bar filled with locals and friendly bartenders we didn't encounter any rowdy bikers like the other review noted but we were there on a Monday night. I'd pick this place all day long over SAMs tiki bar which is overpriced and the staff is not very friendly. read more
