I initially signed up for an 8-week challenge and then committed to an 18-month challenge because I instantly felt inspired by seeing how many calories I was burning in such a short amount of time. Prior to coming here, I inconsistently would go to the gym. I had zero discipline however since coming here, I have integrated bootcamp workouts into my daily routine, which I had NEVER thought I could do. If you are a beginner or getting back into your fitness, no matter where you are in your fitness journey, you should consider coming here. With your membership you have access to unlimited HIIT classes, so you can start off with one or double up. The HIIT classes change daily, and the class schedule has many options to choose from, which makes it easier to find a time that fits for you. The workouts can be challenging, yet fun, and you will walk away feeling accomplished. I love the structure of the class that offers a good balance of cardio and strength. The coaches and the supportive atmosphere got me, everyone is encouraging and the coaches do an amazing job keeping everyone motivated and engaged. The parking can be a bit challenging; with the move to the new location, I am excited to see the ongoing upgrades and appreciate the commitment by Trevon in enhancing the space. Amazing team, owner & coach Trevon gave me a one hour consultation that included a body scan. He explained in detail how to create a caloric deficit to trigger weight loss effectively burning fat while building muscle. I tried one class and the members really seem like an awesome group of people. They offer weekly payment plans for 12 or 18 months to take advantage of the free 30 days. I have never had any luck sticking to a gym routine. A social media ad for CVFitBody kept popping up frequently, so I decided to check them out since they are conveniently located off CVBlvd. The interaction with Chris to set up the initial consult was smooth - one phone call/followed by a few text messages. Given my previous experience (about signing up and ultimately quitting), to say I was apprehensive about the first consultation would be an understatement. With his cheerful smile and can-do attitude, Coach Trevon put me at ease immediately. It was a one-hour consult, and he did not push me into signing up for anything--he offered me choices and was transparent about the costs (including the cancelation fees). I was conflicted about committing to the 12 months, but I decided to take a leap of faith, and I am so glad I did. This is my third week here, and it's already become a part of my routine. I am taking this at my own speed. The coaches support me within my comfort level but very gently push me to take infant steps to reach the next level. Each class has at least two coaches who move around the class, correcting postures, modifying the workout to suit the person's limitations, and, in general, encouraging each individual. - There is ample parking, which makes it easier to reach there 'just in time' - The timings are very suitable if you are juggling work, family obligations - It's 30 minutes. I completed the 2 free weeks offered for the Castro Valley Boot Camp in Castro Valley and I was so pleased with the results that I signed up for 3 months. At the end of the 2 free weeks, I felt much stronger and, presently after 2 months, I have improved immensely in my daily activities. I've been using a cane for several years and I can now walk longer distances without using the cane. Also, I can now walk up a flight of 15 stairs without feeling any pain whatsoever in my groin. Even though I still walk up the stairs slowly putting both feet on each stair, that's a huge accomplishment because I have experienced that pain for several years. read more

I'm so happy I have found this place. I originally started out at 3 days a week and worked my way up to 5 days. With my arthritis I occasionally need a modification but even with the modification I always feel great leaving. Coach is awesome, he pushes us when he knows we can give more and always makes sure we are lifting properly as well as correcting our structure when working out so we don't hurt ourselves. I've come along way since my first day.. goodness when I first started I couldn't even manage a sit up, and that was only in November! I was super excited to get going and give this plc a try. Unfortunately, their phone representative was so unprofessional and clearly had zero customer service experience. My 10 year old nephew knows how to communicate better. The conversation went Could you tell me about your membership, programs and prices? "I mean like yeah our prices are different from like every studio sooo like yeah. We like have different packages and you like def have to buy the heart monitor. Without it you can work out. I guess if you want to come and try it we like can give you like one free class, but essentially you will have to pay cause like yeah it's like part of the thing. " Trust me when I say I got worse as we kept talking on the phone. I asked to speak with a different representative in hopes to understand what she was saying. Quite honestly it a complete turn off to speak with someone like that. She got defensive and rude and said "They are going to tell you the same thing so like don't waste your time and proceeded to laugh and added this is it soo Yeah. " It got me to think, if the first customer engagement is like this than there is very little to expect from the trainers and the program. I will resume to find alternative accommodations for my health goals and I advise you all to do the same. read more

A perfect blend of challenging and weirdly enjoyable. I am grateful for all the motivation and support. Everyone there is incredibly welcoming, and it feels like a real community. I'm doing the 4 week challenge, which adds that extra layer of motivation. (full disclosure: I do get credit for doing this review, but there is absolutely not pressure or guidance to make it good, the 5 star is all me!). They also have a 12 week challenge which seems even more involved. My body was struggling through that first week, but I already feel stronger (and wayyyy less sore) after week 2. This has given me a wonderful layer of structure during the lawless ways of summer, and I always feel great after starting my morning with a workout there. Workouts are 30 mins and they offer morning and evening options. Everyday but Sunday. There's a 1 day trial option and then a first month option with no additional initiation fee. After that, the membership gets cheaper with more of a commitment. I decided to do the challenge and see from there. It's hard to imagine not coming back after the challenge is over! Friendly and supportive environment. 2) Can be modified, but generally high volume combined with complex moves - can be error prone or cause overuse injuries. Would be nice to have a slower pace and more/heavier weights included (time under tension). 3) Confusing as pricing changed within 4-8 weeks without notification. I love Fit body Boot Camp so much! Immediately I felt welcome and comfortable in this new space. The trainers and everyone are truly amazing! I was really out of shape when I first started and then I started to be doing a little bit better right now I'm on a on a time out from my exercise since I recently broke my ankle and just had surgery last week. But one of the things I'm looking forward to most when I get better it's a returning to my beloved gym. Trust me you give it a try, and you'll be glad you did! FBBC CV is a phenomenal gym which focuses on motivation while keeping working out fun. I started in Feb 2022 and def see a change in my body. A friend told me about it and on my first day I walked in and Coach Trevon said "hey Andrea come on in" and I immediately felt like family! His coaching style is excellent and he pays close attention to make sure everyone is doing the exercises correctly throughout the class. "Can't & Quitting" are not options... trust & believe me when I say that!
