I can't rave about this place enough! I absolutely adore Daniel, Bella and the entire staff! Every morning when I drop off, everyone says hello to Ellie and shower her with affection. Even teachers that haven't been in her class before make it a point to say "Good Morning" and complement her or give her a hug. Ellie usually walks through and waves to everyone like she owns the place. She's been learning so much from them too! She sings a ton of different songs and every day she comes home with something new to say or sing. We just had another baby and can't wait for him to start there too. We have been considering moving to a different county but this day care is what is holding us back for now. That's how much we adore this place! If you're on the fence about choosing a day care center, let me tell you, you won't be disappointed with Kiddie Academy of Centreville! Original 2016: We have been enrolled at Kiddie Academy for 3 months now. At first visit, we loved this place because the smaller classrooms and the video streaming capability. But the hours and the prices weren't comparable to the area. So we went with a different daycare initially. After a horrific ordeal with that other place, we decided as parents that we would make this decision for our infant, not because of money or convenience and I am so glad that we did. Somehow, we are able to make it work scheduling wise and it's about more expensive than other places but we were able to make that work too. The staff is absolutely amazing! The kids love their teachers, the parents love the staff and the communication I get from Kiddie Academy is more than I could have imagined. I get pictures and updates through the app and able to log on and see my kid anytime of the day. I can't believe there aren't ANY reviews out here for them because this place is amazing!

Sometimes they'd go to the park in Clifton (for a lot of the same team building exercises my wife's company had done there); on another day, the kids went caving; and on another day, they went canoeing and swimming. Every evening, she would come back exhausted and happy. What more can you ask for?

Most people know Adventure Links for their popular camp programs for children and teens. However, they also offer stellar corporate team building programs, which is how I got to know them. About five years ago, as the CEO of a growing company of 20 professionals, I was struggling with how to address some growing pains and spice up our upcoming quarterly retreat. A friend recommended Adventure Links, so I scheduled a meeting with Anna, the CEO. Anna came to my office and interviewed me to understand my business, our challenges, and what I hoped to accomplish. She asked many questions, listened, and took notes. The next week, we took our team of 20 to their retreat location. Anna and her team had put together an all-day agenda of activities that went way beyond simple ropes courses. What surprised and "sold" me on them was how she'd managed to incorporate our growing pains into her exercises in meaningful ways. Sure, we had fun and bonded, but more importantly most of us began to see certain everyday problems in meaningful new ways, with fresh solutions. To this day our team references those exercises like old Seinfeld episodes. After each exercise - some physically challenging and all mentally challenging - Anna would bring us together and help us draw correlations to some of our corporate issues. It helped that she has a sharp wit and great sense of humor. She and her team also knew when to push and put us on the spot to drive home a point. Six months later, we wanted to bring Adventure Links back for another quarterly retreat, but this time due to bad weather we had to do the exercises in our office. They totally pulled it off! The indoor exercises were unique and again gave us a fresh perspective on both issues and people. An example - during one intense exercise where we split into two teams, a junior staff person had a "eureka!" moment with a brilliant solution to a problem, and spontaneously took control of our team, which included several executives. I had no idea this young lady was so intellectually gifted and capable of leadership under pressure. How valuable is that information for an employer? My firm has engaged Adventure Links several times since then, all with success. When my children are old enough, I'll be sending them to the Adventure Links camps...I know they'll learn and have fun. Adventure Links rocks!

When we walk out the door after this week, we will be saying goodbye to many of the same faces we have said hello to most mornings for the past 6 years. We obviously like the school a lot to have stayed this long. The location is hidden away in a wooded alcove of a busy shopping center. The classes are divided by age among 6 separate classrooms, each with a door leading out to an age-appropriate playground. They provide food as part of the tuition (except for that pesky Covid year) and have excellent hours 6:30am-6:30pm. The staff has a good blend of faithful educators, caring nurturers, elementary teachers gaining experience for their bright futures, mothers working what they know, college students, and more. This school offers a lot in the way of life skills, enrichment, pre-school education, and social skills. They potty trained both of my children. My youngest will start Kindergarten as an independent reader and his attendance at CBA was a big factor. I was looking back at photos of my children that CBA shares through the Tadpoles app and the sheer amount of creative enrichment and educational activities are unrivaled. This is a corporate facility. It follows corporate rules, and I have not always agreed with them, but the overall return on investment has been demonstrated. I've seen this place improve in so many ways over the years. I have trusted this facility with the two most important people in my life, knowing that they were safe and nurtured. As a bonus, I'm certain they came out as smarter, braver, more caring little humans ready to soar in grade school and beyond. Thank you, CBA! We'll miss you!

I'm giving 1 star, because I can't give 0 TL:DR - Full explanation and story below. Conclusion: This is a school who only take pride in keeping kids who only does well from the day 1. This is a school who is not willing to put in efforts to teach a child, and get him accustomed to a school environment and the school systems and policies. This school treated my child like a product that they are only looking after because we are pay them, and since the product that they are looking after had a possibility of causing problems later for other products in their storage, they dropped the service. The principle is very business minded, and only worried about selling services for the children who would do well, not new to their system. If you don't do well, you will be dropped w/o any hesitation. On yea, sending him home on his 3rd day, what a brilliant mind set of a teacher. Principle? That's a bad joke. She should call herself a manager. Her assistant principle is a hell of a better teacher. She should learn from her on how to be a teacher. And being a manager like her, instead of an actual principle, will ruin the reputation of the school that she works for. https://www.reddit.com/r/Preschoolers/comments/145a6yu/do_not_send_your_children_to_chesterbrook_academy/
