They said I'm disqualified from the 7 day trial because I had a membership when they were on Airport Thruway. THAT WAS 12 YEARS AGO! They weren't even called Max Fitness then. Not even in the same location, different name. You'd think they at least let me do the 7 days or maybe even 3 days to see if I want to come to this place on the regular or not. I think that's a bit petty. It was really crowded. Lot of people just standing around looking as opposed to actually working out. I guess it's a beauty contest. LOL Update: I forgot to mention they have a lot of workout equipment compared to other places, but it is really congested in there. Even though my initial experience wasn't great, I'd consider this place as they are open 24 hours several days during the week. That's why I wanted to use the guest pass a few days to see what would be the best time for me to come here, as I mentioned it was super crowded at 5am. I do not like how one of their classes is in the middle of the main area as I feel classes should be in a room, as opposed to having an area roped off. It's already tight in there, let's think. Crunch has wrongly continued to charge my husband and I $30 per month for the last five months…read moreafter I cancelled our memberships in-person due to a military PCS. The first issue was with my membership - they charged me for roughly two months, and then begrudgingly finally gave me a refund after I called incessantly. Now, the issue is my husband's membership - I have called dozens of times, only to be told the "manager will handle it later" (which, shocker - he never does!). 9/10 times when I call, an incompetent teenager picks up and clearly has no idea how to handle the situation (nor has the "power" to). Multiple staff members have acknowledged that I did in fact come in person to cancel both of our memberships in MARCH (it's now mid-July, mind you), but no one has cared enough to stop the charges. They know full well that we are no longer able to come in-person to demand this be rectified due to the fact that we moved out of state. I'm sure they would continue to take our money indefinitely if they could - luckily I have already requested a stop charge from USAA. As the customer, *I* should not have to be the one remembering to call back dozens of times over FIVE months to try to get MY money back. As a fellow business owner, I cannot even imagine treating customers so abhorrently. Disgusting and unprofessional. 0/10 would not recommend signing up for this gym if you are a military family or anticipate ever needing to cancel your membership. We were members for two years, and if I could somehow get every penny we gave to this shitty gym back, I would do it in a heartbeat. Before this all took place, I often recommended Crunch to friends. I will never recommend this gym to anyone again. Additionally, I will be escalating this to the BBB and AG as a) Crunch had FIVE whole months to rectify this, and *chose* not to, and b) I am clearly not the only person who has had this issue.
