I love the concept of this place - healthy meals, prepared fresh, and packaged in correctly portioned sizes. I've been wanting to try their food or a few months since they advertise Paleo options and that's what I eat when dining at home. The lady working there looked in the book to let me know which options were Paleo. There was 1 breakfast option and 4-5 lunch/dinner choices. Most didn't look very appetizing - the meats dry - but I was still goin to try at least one. The first one I looked at, Paleo Sloppy Joe, had soy listed as an ingredient. Soy is not Paleo compliant. I said something to the lady and had the gall to tell me that "everyone follows Paleo differently. Some are okay with soy, some aren't." While I'm sure a lot don't follow it to the letter, just as many do. You can't advertise something as being part of a strict diet when the ingredients flat out contradict that. The one I purchased looked good at first glance, but upon getting it home, I noticed it lists sugar as an ingredient. Sugar is definitely not Paleo compliant. Again, false advertising. You're having people purchase items based on the assumption that you, the company/meal prep service, is following the rules and preparing food that fits within the guidelines, and these meals certainly do not. I'm so aggregated by this. Buyer beware - read your labels. BTW, the turkey burger bowl was only so-so. The squash and cauliflower were good but the turkey itself was more fajita flavored. Well I decided to give this place a try as it's very close to my work. To be honest, I'm not a big fan of healthy food as they are not that tasty most of the time. ( I used the word healthy because it seems that's what they advertise) I've tried 5 different meals at this location so far, including the chicken enchilada, steak and surf, pesto pasta and two more which I can't remember their names. After all here is what I think about this place. If you really like healthy eating and don't mind small portions then you may like this place. For me I had to get two medium meals everytime and it would cost me almost $20 which is absolutely not worth it. If you are a fan of small portions and light lunches for $10-12 then give this place a try. I wouldn't say all the ingredients are healthy but what they claim is that their food is fresh and never frozen. To be fair I would give this place a 3.5/5. Not that I'm a fan or that I would go back often, but only because the idea is cool, the quality of food is good and it's relatively fast. Just need 2-3 min in microwave. I stop by this place a couple times a month to pick up some meals for "emergencies". I tend to cook most of my own meals As meal prep, but when I'm short on time and running out of food, it's nice to have a healthy option. I've tried their small medium and large sized meals. I think the medium is perfect for me. Each meal averages $10 which is on par with most meal services. They have a few sweet treats. I like the peanut butter bites more than the cookie dough, and the bites better than the bars. Beware! The brownie is not worth the carbs! Wow. It's so little protein and so much carbs. Food seems to be fresh and stores for quite a few days in the fridge. I love that they offer a recycling program. Bring back washed containers for credit towards another meal! Parking is behind. I can't believe I drove by Fitlife Foods for so long before trying because it is AMAZING!! I think my absolute favorite so far is the sweet potato pancakes and the Banana French toast (what can I say - I love breakfast!). The location is so clean and fresh, and the staff is sweet and helpful. Whether you are looking to gain muscle or lose fat or just eat better they have meals for you! I love how easy they are to prepare on the go! I should also note I am writing this at the time of COVID-19 and they have taken amazing measures to make sure their customers, employees, and food are all safe! Today, Thursday, I had the pad Thai. Today's expiration date on it. Tried eating some - definitely spoiled. Point: do not order with them online. Paige helped me create a meal plan and picked meals suitable for my lifestyle/ training regimen. She was happy to help me and her customer service was great. This was my second time to Fitlife Foods and I love of the concept! There are a ton of options and most (if not all of the meals come in 3 different sizes. The staff is very friendly and helpful, always greeting you and asking if you need any help. The meals can be pretty pricey but Fitlife is my go to alternative when I am too busy or too tired to meal prep at home. The meals are delicious, they're not the sterotypical bland tasteless "healthy foods" that most are used to having. Each meal I've tried thus far has been very tasty and filling; this week I picked up 4 large meals totaling in ~$50. For me, the best part of Fitlife is the convenience; I love being able to walk into the store, check out what they have on hand and leave picking the individual meals that I wanted. There's no need to commit to a meal plan, being limited to choose out a certain category or any other tricks...you get exactly what you want. There is a pretty neat deal encouraging you to save your Fitlife containers; bring in 20 and exchange for a free meal. Is it worth it? Not sure but it is neat to see a business encourage their customers to recycle. I am a fan and look forward to seeing this business grow. read more

I admit it, I really don't enjoy cooking for myself anymore, but I want to be conscious of what I eat and not eat frozen meals. Thankfully I found fitlife foods. I have been to both winter park and dr phillips locations- staff is always helpful and quick. There were a couple things I didn't care for (chicken pad Thai, apricot chicken and paleo Joe's) but all other meals I have enjoyed..I don't eat pork very often but the carnitas are probably my favorite meal. I usually eat the medium sized portion and find it to be enough and at about $10 on average. All meals have a marked best by date around 4 days since they aren't preserved and not recommended to freeze- so take this in consideration. I haven't tried the snacks and only 1 breakfast item to be honest- don't see the need there. My only complaint in winter park is lack of parking, ppl always take the 15 minute spots that aren't supposed to so I wish they had a true designated spot. read more

I've been a loyal customer of Fitlife for well over a year now. I initially started with a coach and lost over 20 pounds and went down to the body fat percentage of an athlete within a few short months. I have continued to eat the food because it is delicious, nutritious, and makes me feel terrific. Whenever I have stopped eating Fitlife Foods, I find my headaches, overall inflammation, sleep patterns, and feeling of well-being goes downhill. When I go back to eating the meals there, I feel great again, have way more energy, and my skin and hair look wonderful, as well! It makes sense, after all.. you are what you eat! The concept is good, however, both meal options that I tried were extremely bland. I ordered a small chicken siracha and a medium arroz con pollo. I am a member of their home delivery service because I hate cooking just that much. I saw an ad of FB along with a coupon so I decided, what the heck, below is my breakdown: The Good: 1) YOU DON'T HAVE TO COOK!! Your entire meal is in a takeout container that you just pop in the microwave for a minute or two. Dinner is done. 2) Portion control. I'm going to bet you a $1 you probably have no idea what a serving size looks like, b/c through this service, I realized that I had no flipping clue at all. While it didn't *look* like a lot of food, with most of my meals at 400 calories, it was definitely enough and I wasn't ever hungry after finishing a meal. 3) Healthy food that tastes good (for the most part, I'll get to that later) - I've always said I wish I had a personal chef to make me healthy food, b/c I'd eat so much better. This service is similar to having that. The Not Good: 1) their delivery service of a week's worth of meals (you *can* tailor this, you can get just a few days worth delivered) is not feasible. I had two meals that were completely inedible due to the loss of freshness in the vegetables. They were fine when delivered but since I didn't eat them for 4 days (I had 12 meals delivered, so 6 days worth of food for 2 people), they did not hold up at all. 2) Corporate response. They don't respond to emails at all. I had an issue with one meal (at the time) and was trying to see if I could get a replacement, as there is a 100% satisfaction guarantee in place, and received no answer. I went into the store to try and deal with the issue, I didn't leave with any additional meals *but*I felt awkward asking, so I'll take some blame for that. 3) some of the meals I have to wonder what they were thinking. "Asian Vegetable" meal was literally brussels sprouts, sweet potatoes, and rice. BUT I will accept some of that blame for not reading and solely looking at the pictures. You definitely need to LOOK AT THE INGREDIENTS to ensure the meal is going to actually taste good (chicken "pizza" supreme, I'm looking at you!) All in all, for the price that I pay, it's worth it to me to keep trying different meals but I think that I'll have to stop meal delivery and instead go to the location twice a week and ensure freshness of the meals. I would truly recommend this to other people that hate cooking, but keep all the "not good" stuff above in mind so you're not wasting money. read more

I signed up online for the 12 meals, figured I would give it a try (a big selling point was the savings and for a weeks worth of food it was $90.47). After first week I noticed in two meals the Mac n cheese tasted like plastic. On their website it says have a problem contact us 100% satisfaction, so I contacted them. No response. So I called them to talk to a manager. Fine. Manger has goofy hours and isn't in on a regular shift. Dude who answered the phone told me to call Sunday mourning before noon. What? I tried, never found this infamous manager. I figured I would give another try on the Mac, same results. I send them another email. No response. At this point (3 weeks in) I just cut out the Mac n cheese. I got my statement in the mail and saw that I was being charged $30 (!) more then the weekly agreed upon price, now I have so problem with them! I finally was able to get a hold of this manager and I was clearly wasting her time with my questions. She didn't eve apologize and stated that the $90.47 was for the first week only. Well with their inability to email back and their obvious misleading add on their website there clear issue at this company is communication. They just lost my business! read more

I've had a good experience with this place. I wanted to lose weight for a trip I was going on and decided to talk with the health coach, Melanie. We talked for about an hour on my goals and how fitlife could fit into them. Over the past two and a half months I've gone from 155lbs to 142lbs. Having been a former customer of Fresh Meal Plan (which I liked, mind you) I was interested in checking out FitLife. I like! Why? Because I can look at the meals and decide if I like what I see. I can look at the menu and determine what I might like before I look at the dish. I can mix and match and buy what I want (vegan one day, surf & turf the next....I want that kind of flexibility) and I only buy what I need and walk out with it right there and then. No more 3:00am deliveries and worrying if animals ripped open the bag at my front door while I was sleeping. No more wasted meals because I ended up with plans to go out. No more getting stuck with a week of food because I forgot to suspend my account. The hours are great so I can pop in before work and drop in after dining with friends. I didn't catch the woman's name working but she sent my friend home with a protein bar on the house to try it out. How many places do such things?? Not many but she is obviously confident in what they sell. I bought two meals and both of them were delicious. I bought the oatmeal thinking if they can make pre-made oatmeal tasty without the gross texture I'll be a repeat customer. Well the oatmeal was awesome. It's a bit pricey BUT you are getting freshly made food minus all the sodium (have you ever looked at how much is in a Lean Cuisine meal???!) loaded with fiber (veggies, whole grains, nuts, seeds, etc) and the portions are sufficient that you won't be hungry ten minutes later (as with Lean Cuisine) but you won't be over stuffing yourself either. read more
