    Donating blood

I have been donating blood for a while now. Whenever it's time, I find a Big Red Bus and take care of my donation. The buses are clean, spacious and the staff is stupendous. From the time I parked, went in, did paperwork and donation and out to my car was about 30 minutes. They give you water or juice and snacks. Donate blood today!!

Dayma is amazing!!! Great location, the staff is helpful, knowledgeable and always goes above and beyond. I appreciate Dayma offering lots of guidance and helpful advice as I was choosing supplements. Highly recommend this store.

This is a great supermarket. If you are conscious of your added sugar, number dyes, ingredients in general, this is the place for you. They label gluten free/keto products so it's easy to find. If you're an Olipop fan, they are on sale for $2 a can til the middle of October. Our of all the stores that sell Olipop sprouts has the best sales. The store has great finds, it feels very Lucky's, if you remember that amazing store. I joke and call it mid-whole-foods cause you'll spend some money but not your whole paycheck. The workers there are nice and helpful. My only gripe is the produce section. There is a large amount of their produce that doesn't get put in a fridge. It's on stacks near the fridge, ie: cucumbers, zucchini and they tend to bad faster.

    Fresh and colorful!

I wish we had a Sprouts a bit closer to home! Their produce selection is awesome and they have LOTS of vegan items in stock that we love. Especially the vegan Feta. Mmmmmmm Visiting on a Saturday afternoon, I was surprised to see that the store was almost empty, but that made for easy social distancing and a pleasant shopping experience. The store is very clean and there was no wait to checkout. I'm sure when my husband reviews he will complain about the fact that he's been shopping there for a while and nobody mentioned their rewards card. That would have been nice to know, I'll admit.

The older lady with the short hair at checkout is always rude. Product is great but her customer service is terrible.

They have a pretty nice selection and their prices are very reasonable. Much cheaper than Vitamin Shoppe or GNC. They are about equivalent with an online store once you consider shipping and the wait time. Just a note that they have moved over Christmas week from their old spot on Aloma and 436. When I asked for a recommendation, he quickly pointed out several options and gave me the run-down on pros and cons of each. The new location is in the "20/20 Supercenter" next to the gas station on the southwest corner of Semoran and Howell Branch (from the listed location on Aloma, just head north on Semoran, and it's on your left). They have a great selection and good prices, but the best part is having knowledgeable people giving you advice on newest trends, laws, banned substances, etc. Give them a try and shop local!

I ended up having a little cheat day and enjoyed a delicious soft serve with fresh strawberries -- it was so good! The staff members were very friendly, especially the cashier who helped me at the register. Her smile felt so genuine, and it honestly made me want to come back again. I even decided to pick up some peanut butter while I was there. The store was very clean and well organized, which made shopping comfortable and enjoyable. I live about two…read morehours away, and whenever I'm in Orlando I usually get sucked into the whole Disney Springs vibe and never make it to all the other amazing local businesses. This trip, though, there was absolutely no Disney involved -- and we finally stopped here on our way home Sunday morning. I feel like you know you're getting older when you get excited about grocery shopping. Normally when I go to Publix, I'm irritated before I even get inside. But this place? A completely different experience. Walking through and seeing all the locally grown vegetables and the meat selection -- clearly labeled as hormone-free and without all the extra junk you get at typical grocery stores -- was honestly mind-blowing. The prices were so reasonable I couldn't believe it. I purposely brought a cooler for the two-hour drive home, and even with everything I bought, I didn't spend over $100. If I had purchased the same items at Publix, I'm convinced I would've been close to (or over) $200. Beyond the prices, the quality and overall vibe made it so enjoyable. You're not breaking the bank feeding your family, and you feel good knowing you're getting better-quality food. The staff was incredibly sweet and genuinely seemed to enjoy their jobs. I was looking for boneless chicken, and one of the employees asked if that's what I needed. A few minutes later, he came back with multiple packs in his hands to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. It was such a thoughtful gesture, and I really appreciated it. One thing to know: the produce and meat sections are in two separate, unconnected rooms, so you check out separately in each. And if you're still riding that high from all the money you saved, there's soft-serve ice cream outside with seating -- which just makes the experience even better. For someone who truly despises grocery shopping, this was actually fun. I will absolutely make a special trip to Orlando just to come back here -- and next time, I'm bringing a bigger cooler.

It has such a strong local vibe and it is cool to see a mix of smaller vendors alongside some more well known food spots. That said there are a few things worth noting. First, seating can be a challenge. There is plenty of outdoor seating but not much indoors. The day we went it was pretty hot and sitting outside was not the most enjoyable experience at times. Second, I fully support spending money at local businesses but the tipping culture here felt a bit excessive. I bought a bag of coffee beans with no drink and was prompted for a tip. I spent $45 for 12 pieces of chocolates at Oban Chocolatier and was asked for a tip there too. Same thing when I spent about $25 on four cookies at Gideon's Bakehouse. I am happy to support but it started to feel like a lot in a not enjoyable way. Third, the hours between vendors can be a bit awkward. We came around brunch time which worked for some spots but others were not open yet. For example, Domu does not open until dinner (5PM) and Gyukatsu Rose was not opening until later in the afternoon (3 PM) Overall, I think this is a great place to check out especially if you enjoy trying a variety of local spots. Just plan ahead for seating and timing and be prepared for lots of tip prompts along the way.
