Pretty disappointed with the bowls. The tropical bowl had chunks of what seemed to be the pineapple core which were bitter when I would bite into a piece. Not enough options for topping; what you see is all they had available which is chia seeds, hemp seed, peanut butter or maple syrup and bananas which they only put a half of a banana. My niece had the Açaí bowl which is her favorite food ever and she did not enjoy it at all. Would not recommend for bowls and will not be returning. Parking was also horrible. I've been coming to this spot for years since it opened. I live in the neighborhood, I enjoy supporting local businesses. The food and smoothies were never spectacular, but the convenience and health aspect were always appealing to me and an easy pick up. I've been ordering a combo of a specific wrap for years. I always get up charged a bit for the modification, no problem. Instead of $9 it usually comes to $12 give or take tax. This time I was up charged per usual, sat for about 15 mins. Got my order and as I was walking off, realized everything was just thrown in a box almost like a sloppy salad. When I explained that the order was made wrong, the manager seemed annoyed at me. After waiting another substantial delay, they told me I would have to be up charged again while the manager forced the poor girl at the front to relay her messages from the back to me instead of speaking to me directly. Well I hope that $2 was worth it bc you've lost a customer that has supported your small operation on a weekly basis for years. If you mess up an order, especially one that causes delays, you eat that cost as the business owner. However, this seemed more like a surcharge for correcting their mistake because I was up charged twice. Customer service is dead in general, but this was a prime example. No sandwich is worth $16 with a side of attitude. read more

Check in for your free wellness shot! First time here, and first time down this part of town. Usually I'm on the other side of Graffiti Junktion. Anyway, such a cute area. Parking can get get difficult, but if you don't mind walking, you can find some street parking on some of the side streets. The shop is small. I would recommend placing your order and then waiting outside, especially if there are other customers waiting to order as well. There are a couple small tables and chairs outside to sit and enjoy your order if you choose. They have quite the menu, I didn't really get a chance to look at everything on there, as my foods were limited that day to due some health reasons. So I ordered the dragonfruit smoothie bowl with everything it comes with and opted for the maple syrup (the other option is peanut butter). The bowl has quite a bit in it, I think maybe more than I expected. It was good, and sat well with my stomach which was a plus. I also got a ginger shot, which was a little more than I expected, haha. None the less it burned on the way down as I would expect ginger to burn . They give you an orange slice for after the shot, you know, much like you would with tequila and lime/lemon ‍. Anyway, the ginger is actually amazing for the stomach. Works great for me for calming and soothing. Prices are as you would expect from a juice/smoothie place like this. Really not bad at all though. Love it! This place is a nice little gem nestled away in Thornton Park and definitely a must try. I fell in love the first visit. The menu is compact and full of healthy vegan options (and soy free). Given the product and quality, I think that the prices are very reasonable. My first visit was on a quiet mid Saturday afternoon so there wasn't a crowd or long lines. I was able to ask a lot of questions about the different smoothies, juices and add-ins. I have to say that hempt seeds are surprisingly good. The young ladies were very friendly and knowledgeable (turns out that one thing that I have in common with one of the young ladies is that we have lived in the same THREE states! One point for six degrees of separation!). It is nice sitting at the small tables, sipping a healthy beverage while listening to some of the latest music hits eminate from the speakers in the ceiling. Oh I love this place! I walk here from my house at least once a week. You'll find me alternating between their two different coffee smoothies (ok, but first coffee! being my favorite one). Yummmmmm! That is what my thought was as I walked in here, it smells so delicious and fresh. Yes, you can smell the whole foods that are about to get in your juice and then in your belly! It's located on the corner across from The Falcon and Graffiti Junktion. It's a tiny spot but they do have a few covered spots outside. They create eveything via cold-press and I was just taught that this is the very best style of juicing because it extracts every drop without heat which is the only way to secure the maximum nutrients in the drink. However, this spot doesn't charge you out the wazoo, which is amazing since they are cold press. Very reasonable and attractive at 12oz $5.50 | 16oz $6.95 I appreciate locally owned businesses that really do work with local businesses surrounding them. They also utilizing organic and/or local produce whenever possible. The ladies working when I went the first time were all very nice. Perfect way to start your day! I've currently only had their mean green smoothie which includes: kale, spinach, kiwi, ginger, apple, lemon, parsley.. And I added chia seeds. It was perfect, not sweet (if that's what you're expecting) but a perfect breakfast for sure. The girl behind the counter was super nice and even asked how I felt about ginger so she knew how much to add. (Side note: I LOVE ginger) This place gets pretty busy and there's only a few tables outside but there's a window where you can just walk up in order. Food-wise it's the Not-Your-Mom's Chicken Salad Wrap - chickpeas, celery, craisins and delicious vegeniase. Perfection. All of Raw's wraps automatically come on a wheat wrap. But for a small up-charge you can get a Raw wrap, which is essentially a veggie tortilla. It's raw, vegan, paleo and gluten free. My go-to smoothie is usually a toss up between the Sweet Green and the Your Turning Violet, Violet. But Raw also frequently features a smoothie of the week that changes based on the season. Recently they've had delicious mixtures that taste like pumpkin pie and peppermint milkshakes. So you can get your fix of the holiday classics without the guilt. The bowl is supposed to have pineapple - which was one of the main reasons I stopped here - there was one tiny piece of pineapple. The bowl in general had zero flavor. You can order at the outdoor walk up window or step inside for some AC. The interior is small so take a peak inside before you try to squeeze in. Like other juices and smoothies, these little bevies are high dollar. I have no problem paying the price if the product is good. Unfortunately, we have not had consistent luck here. My guy had been here about a month back and enjoyed his green smoothie so we gave it a go again. When I got my smoothie it was anything but smooth. It was down right chunky! I drank mine in silence for a bit thinking maybe this is just how they are here but when I spoke up he agreed that it was off from last time. Maybe today's employee wasn't as well trained? They were barely edible. They were thin and watery with chunks of vegetables. The menu also does not call for something to make it more smoothie-like such as almond milk. If you want something like that, they call it a "Rump Shaker!". I almost ordered one but first asked if they made their own almond milk which they did not for use in the menu items. You could buy it separately in the shop's refrigerated section but they do not make it to add to drinks. What a bummer and missed opportunity to add higher quality milk to your products. Unfortunately we won't be back. They have good hours and a decent menu but just the thought of maybe having to drink a beverage like I had last time makes me want to vom. It was really yummy and filling. I washed it down with a smoothie that featured kale, blueberries, pineapple and ginger. Very refreshing, and the ginger gave it a nice kick. My vegan friend was in HEAVEN. I don't know what she ended up getting in the end (I was too busy chowing down to pay attention), but she was happy with her choices as well. The inside space is very small, but they have some outdoor seating, and a walk-up window too. I will definitely be back the next time I'm in the Thornton Park area (which, by the way is very charming).
