I have moved recenlty to the clearwater area and the closest gym that was near my house was Fitness 360. I have signed up for some personal training but I have gotten very sick. I have called the gym and have spoken to Nick the manager. He said that the last 200.00 charge to my account was going to be that week. I just looked in my account and they removed another 200.00 again. When I called to speak to the manager he said that I needed to come in and sign some paperwork in order need to stop the drafting. I told him that I have been very sick and that I have not been able to do much. He did not care about anything and continue to ignore my request. I am not only calling my bank and the corporate offices but I am also going to remove my 30.00 a month membership. read more

Okay, I don't really know where to start with this, because before today, I had nothing bad to say about this gym, but after my experience with the management of the Clearwater location, I wouldn't step foot in another Fitness 360 in my life. So we started up our membership with them when we lived in the apartments that were located behind the gym. We loved it at first, my wife loved her Personal Trainer, and the gym itself is fairly advanced, with plenty of space and machines. We loved our time there. After awhile, we felt the staff was a revolving door. I know this comes with the territory, but it seemed like every time we got to know someone, they left. After talking to other gym-goers, they felt the same way. While it's not exactly relevant to making gains or working out, it was often tiresome to get certain follow ups, and know who to talk to about what account problems, where machines were, or proper etiquette (we are not regular gym-goers). Shortly after, our lives got busy after a death in the family. The personal trainer my wife developed a trust with, up and left the gym for financial reasons. We stopped going regularly, and were in the process of moving away from the area. So I called to cancel the membership. I got the run-around (and I know gyms are notoriously difficult to quit), more discounts, and offers, but was eventually told I needed to come in and fill out the paperwork for them to "be able" (coughBScough) to cancel my membership. So that's what I did. We went in, I met with one of their staff, we sat at the little table to the left of their desk, and filled out some forms. We shook hands, and went on our way. Assuming that was the end of that. That was almost 3 years ago. Fast forward to July 20th, 2019. We are headed up for a Vacation, when I get an email from Fitness 360 about a payment failure on our bill card. So I called the gym. They answered, and a pleasant guy looked up my information, told me "no no, it's just a system issue, this has happened to a couple other people too. It's not a payment failure, it's just something that happened with the new management, but he will check and call me back if there's an issue. Fine. I'm driving, so I take his word for it. Plus, I never got a call back. Two weeks later, I have an issue, and check the card (turns out, it had expired which explains why I got a failure to pay), and low and behold, they have been charging me ever since we opened the account. Accumulating over $1000 since we went in and canceled the account. So I call the Gym again, expecting that this can be easily rectified and the money refunded, and that's where the fun begins. I begin by explaining my call on the 20th. Which he promptly informs me isn't in there records and seems convinced didn't happen. Strike one. I explain the conversation that we had, and his only response to that is that they haven't changed management since 2014. Fine. Irrelevant (but still the excuse for obviously not wanting to tell me that they've been charging my card all this time by the first guy I talked to), but fine. So I just gave him the time-frame (I couldn't remember a specific date since this was almost 3 years ago) when we came in and filled out the paperwork, and he promptly informed me that they had no paperwork, and as far as they were concerned, the account was still active. WHAT?! He also informed me that they didn't even put the notes in the system, and nobody turned in any cancellation paperwork. So, he was going to "do me a favor" and cancel it now. No refund, no rectifications, just pretty much a total dropped ball, with him reversing the finger at me like WE didn't do it. Interestingly enough, they kept no record of calls, emails, or face-to-face meetings we've had. They had no record of our cancellation. In fact, the only record they had was of a time my wife supposedly came in January, over a year after we moved away. Which, is obviously untrue. He told me that I get emails every time a payment is processed. I don't. The only emails I have from them are coupons and promotions. No payment confirmations, nothing. Which, they also didn't have records of. In fact, they seemed to only have records on things THEY did. The point of this entire review is to say, do NOT communicate with these guys over the phone or in person. They do not keep records at all. I would also urge you to double check ANYTHING you turn in to them. He told my wife that he recorded phone calls, and then when we asked him to play back the call on the 20th, it's only date times. He said they didn't have record of a call on the 20th. Which, is easily provable. He didn't have record of our cancellation. Nor our paperwork. They literally kept no records of anything. If you choose this gym, check and double check and triple check. But, honestly, there are far better options in the area. read more

The one time i wanted to use the sauna, it took forever for locker room to open up. Also, i couldnt even use the damn bathroom, again because the time to clean was definitely inappropriate. They need to pick a better time to clean the lockers. Or atleast let people in while they clean. Im soooo disappointed. I'll change this review if they make things a bit better. read more

Updated as of march 2015: Go to LA fitness behind if you plan on paying for full membership. TRUST ME ON THIS. You get more bang for your buck at LA. LA won't screw up your membership fees.They are cleaner with functional equipment. This gym has dropped from 3 stars to 1 star. Grimy, broken or poor functioning equipment, error codes on most cardio machines, billing errors with extra charges every month. At one point last month, 70% OF CARDIO MACHINES DIDN'T WORK. We all know that fat is shred with Cardio. The gym is tightly packed. On many of the machines that are functional, the cables catch and don't roll smoothly. The grips are old, saturated with sweat, ripped, flaking or out of place. Many of the pads are ripped. When machines are out of order, it makes sticking to a routine very hard. When I wrote my first 3 star review 6 months ago, the owner emailed me about how he can help me accomplish my fitness goals. Whats sad is I had complained to him in person 2 weeks prior to my review. My complaint was " I don't know how to use the equipment for optimal results, use proper form or pick a noobie routine. My free trainer session was a boot camp sales pitch that injured me and did not help. I just need a little guidance." His face 2 face response, "Well we cant help you. That's how personal trainers make their money." I get it, but damn, don't add to my failure. Be a human and passionate about fitness, give me a pointer. Since then, I have decided to go late evenings, when my husband goes. Hubby knows about body building and the gym is empty. Since then, I am accomplishing goals. I have shred 20lbs and 5% body fat. NOTE TO OWNERS: You successfully re-branded the facility, but now that you have reeled in a BUTT LOAD of patrons, time to redirect your focus. Time to manage what you have and focus on the regulars. Where is your presence? You only have ONE FACILITY. Treat it like your baby. Your employees just hang out all day! The cats away, the mice are playing! Its such a small facility, it needs to be deep cleaned nearly daily, not a MONTHLY deep clean. You have less than 2 feet between majority of your machines. Smaller space = Traps more sweat/dirt. Smaller facility= Machines will need more maintenance due to higher use load. Get more transitional weights. Make sure it's even for all free weights. I requested a kettle bell 2 months ago. No word back. It was working miracles for me and some other girls..You have 5lb and 10lbs...You expect someone to jump to 50lbs? Make a bigger point about GYM ETIQUETTE. You have idiots setting laptops on benches, while doing lunges across your TINY walkways. People leave HEAVY weights on machines that people can't lift and change it out. Your employees don't ensure that either. Idiots set their bags on a machine while they go and hog 2 other machines. People are tripping over gym bags left in walkways. Idiots hog the newer equipment, doing who knows what on their phones. Myself and other regulars would make a bigger effort in wiping down the machines after we use them, but WHY? I don't see any employees wiping them down at the end of the day and by the time I am in the gym, the sweat stain is penetrated on the equipment and your alcohol water solution, and cheap unabsorbant paper towels wont cut it. Instead of hanging out with friends at the front desk on off time, employees should walk around and check on struggling patrons. That obese woman on the treadmill that will eventually cancel since she hasn't gotten results. Spoting that man who is bench pressing an insane amount of weight and might get injured if his elbows don't come in more. Me: A TALL idiot left six 45lb weights above head level for me to remove. (5'5 woman). A dip machine on set on HIGH resistance, and and two extra 45lb weights left on it. I removed the weight and and almost got face slapped by the platform and almost dropped the weight on my foot from the scare. LIABILITY! Lastly, your trainers/employees really make your gym seem like an uncaring place. When the owners were around they went above and beyond (loved it!) If they see someone using poor form, or improperly using equipment, then SPEAK UP. Show you care about patrons and are enthusiastic about spreading tips for the well being of others, eventually, they will seek them out and fork over $350 a month to use their services. I get that some people may become needy,but if someone is doing something wrong, guide them, say your welcome and walk away. Not only that, it's a liability if someone is injured while a trainer is a few feet away simply WATCHING you self destruct (blond buff male trainer) Fit360 is in worse shape now, than when Family Fitness Center owned it. That must mean something to you, after all your efforts re-branding. Extremely bad communication. Nothing was properly explained when I signed up. My personal trainer that was part of the 'package' was canceled on me twice. I left 4 messages to reschedule and never got a returned call after that. But, I did get a call today saying I owed a past due amount. Again, because of horrible communication when signing up. I am an EXTREMELY disappointed customer of this gym. Beware of your billing. Customer service at this place is horrific. Would give zero starts if yelp had that as an option. The owner that replied below is just trying to cover his a$$. The staff here needs to learn how to communicate better and maybe a course on ethics. How to properly interact with the customers. Real disappointment. The sauna is a health risk in the men's room. Lots of signs of old damage, wood is not nailed in properly nails exposed and if that's not bad enough it doesn't heat to the proper temperature. the bicycles have not worked properly since I joined a month or two ago. I have brought up the problem every time I was in there and nothing happens. Canceled my membership today wish I would've done it sooner or never signed up. read more

I love this gym. One of my favorite parts is not signing a 12 month contract and everyone pays the same membership fees!! I have used other gyms in the past where my wife signed up before me and a month later I now have a higher price. Why would one person pay more or less then another? It's a gym not a night club! This has been one of the worst experiences I've had with a local business in the Clearwater area. Trying to end a membership has been a nightmare of an experience. Cancellations can't be done over the phone and require you to do them in person or with a certified letter. The hours when an actual person at the front desk is available to cancel a membership are limited. The office voicemail box was full when called. Managers of the company weren't going to be available for more than a week to dispute a charge. This business is focused on maximizing profits with no regard to being a positive local business. read more

Gym itself is adequate. Do not sign up for an automatic deduction from your credit card, they will continue to charge you month after month unless you notice. I went in to cancel on July 27th, today after seeing they charged me for October they told me that the cancellation was put in August 2nd, so it was one day after the charge was done so they have to charge me for another month. This gym is just a scam for your money. To become a member there's a 60 dollar pay wall not to mention the lies of being a 24/7 gym just to paint it pretty with "membership plans" that start at $10.70 a month all the way up to $120 a month for the full benefits of this gym. Non the less, once you pay your membership fee you have a grace period of 90 days, or so they say, to where you can cancel at anytime within those 90 days and they wont charge you the annual fee. Yet that was a lie. At the beginning of the third month they deducted $50 out of my account at the 60 day mark. Also to cancel your membership you have to go in person and as stated before if you decide to cancel before the 90 days, they have a "policy" that states when you cancel you are obligated to pay a entire month even though you will not be able to use it. So for any of you who want to join or interested in this gym be warned its just a sink hole for your wallet. There are many more adequate options for less with actual 24 hour facilities for all members. read more

I have been a member of Fitness 360 for years and love the instructors for the Les Mills classes as well as the availability of the "kids club" so that as a busy mom, I can still get my fitness! During the Pandemic, I reached out to the club as finances have become less certain. I was very pleased by their willingness to work with me. I am hoping for a vaccine so that I can go back to my Les Mills classes. In the meantime, I hope that as a community, we can work with the gym to keep them alive. I would hate to lose this asset to our community. read more

The recent customer service for this gym has been absolutely horrible, and when I called to specifically let the manger know about it, it was as if he had already made up his mind that no matter what my wife and I were the rude ones, when in fact we were both hung up on twice! Gym is OK with the usual equipment. It is not fancy. Bathrooms / changing rooms are just this side of gas station restroom. I would never use the showers. Half of the spin bikes have their seats taken out because they need to be repaired and haven't been (this has been since June 2018). For over a month the A/C wasn't working in the spin room and kids club (May-July in FLORIDA). I almost gave them an extra star because they inadvertently created a new class "hot spinning"!!!! It is cheap and you get what you pay for. Instructors are nice and give good classes, but all deserve to be working at someplace better (maybe they can't get out of their contracts). read more

This place is not worth the headache. The equipment was old and often left dirty, items left all over the gym where people have used them and no one cleans up. I ended my contract, or I THOUGHT I did. Management is awful , service is terrible. Cancellations need to be done by certified letter but the teens at the front desk don't tell you this. Then they bill you 17 months later via collections. When attempting to speak to the manager he REFUSED to come to the phone and the front desk agent states "he is busy. And he probably wont call you back, I can give you his email". Poor customer service from my perspective. Other gyms may be a bit more expensive but you truly get what you pay for. The equipment is out of date and dirty all the time. The sauna never gets hot enough. If all you want is classes maybe it is worth it for you. I just cancelled my membership with these jokes. I was a member for almost a year and they gave me a hard time bringing a guest for 3 days. They have 3 day passes and refused to give me one. The biggest issue about this was I let them know 2 weeks in advance that I was bringing a guest that was coming into town. It wasn't an issue until I actually brought him in and they threw a fit wanting 10 dollars for my cousin to lift there for a day.. The equipment isn't even that good. ALL the barbells are bent and machines are rarely serviced. The staff is cool for the most part. Except Nick!!! He's the reason I left. read more

This gym is amazing! From the second the new owners took over they started making improvements. From painting, to new equipment. Pricing is fantastic and the staff is unbelievable! They really want to be a part of the community and help and build relationships. They have already participated in numerous fundraisers including the 5k Prostate Walk/Run. Started a run club for members so even when you aren't at the gym they want to work with you. Check them out you will not be disappointed! Wish there were more locations so everyone could get a chance to join a gym that actually cares about their members and not just dollar signs!! I wish I was in Florida more often as this is my gym of choice when traveling! read more

This gym is awesome. Every piece of equipment you could ever need. It is very rarely crowded and clean. They have tons of great classes and very good personal trainers. They are open 24 hours which makes it convenient with my busy schedule. I have trained at several area gyms and I found a home here at fitness 360. read more

This is a nice gym, with better clientele than a L.A. fitness. Challenges here seem to be some simple maintenance, and not delivering on its amenities. When we signed up we were told part of the amenities was free WiFi, after 2 weeks that no longer was an option. And on most of the cardio equipment, either programs/tension doesn't work, or the t.v.isn't working. Where the staff is polite in hearing about these issues, nothing is done to correct them. Part of your membership agreement includes a maintenance fee after 3 months, but I'm not seeing the funds being put to good use. I do understand they have a new second location though. read more

The gym members were always kind and group workouts were fantastic in late 2018- early 2019. I stopped attending in early 2019 however still had the ACH since I needed to give physical notice to cancel and didn't have time. Later, after moving further north we tried multiple times to cancel however no one was available to assist on the Sundays we went in. Once covid19 closed the gym shortly after in 2020, we emailed and text the owner. I had to "complete my membership" which cost me even more before closing the agreement. Fine. Whatever.. take my money. Sadly it continues. Unfortunately, fitness360 continues to charge my checking account after the cancelled membership. Even after a confirming text conversation of the account being closed, my checking was charged today yet again. I've been charged a total of $30 more dollars since asking to stop the membership. I love the spin classes here and the culture this gym has created. The owner is involved with the community, making it more than just about his gym. I absolutely love spin class on Saturday mornings with Summer, she is the most positive and motivating instructor. Everyone is willing to help you if you have questions about how to make your workout better or how to help heal from an injury (hope I don't have anymore of those). If you come regularly, you'll get to know everyone and feel like a part of the gym family. read more

Over a year and the gym has failed to keep the equipment in working order. Lots of promises and consistently missed timelines. Consistently told by management and staff how much it costs to run the gym as though this is a concern of the customer. If you expect equipment to work (especially those dependent on electronics) this is probably not the gym for you. I love working out here! Out of all the gyms I've been apart of, the equipment here is my favorite. The trainers are very knowledgeable and they have the friendliest staff! When i was looking into joining a gym child care was a must. I have a 1 and 2 year old that i bring with me every time and they are always well taken care of! Everything is kept clean and organized. Disrespectful staff. Been a member there for two years and it really honestly is a horrible gym. Everything is always broken. The GM walks around wishing he owned the place and always carrying that pissed off look. The staff hate it there because there payed nothing and not respected at all, which in return make them disrespectful towards everyone. They charge your card whenever they feel like, and charged me two months of membership even though I had canceled. Plus the yearly maintenance fee. This is regarding the personal trainer Daniel Commander. He is employed at this gym as a personal trainer. I hired him to train outside of this gym. Please avoid this man. He was unprofessional. Save your money for someone who will do their job. He often was distracted, board, and complaining about his life. All while on my dime. After 5 sessions I requested a refund only for the unused prepaid sessions. He again was unprofessional. He is unwilling to give me my money back. He never at any point in time presented a contract or mentioned he would not give a refund for unused sessions. Please AVOID!!! If I could give negative 4 stars I would. I even gave multiple opprotunities over the course of several days for him to refund me my money before posting this review but again he was unprofessional and unwilling to have good business practices. He seems like a calm person who is harmless but once he has your money you will wish you would have read this review. #Neveragain! read more
