I was in Clermont this past week for a family reunion and decided to check out this gym. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the moment I walked in. The facility was clean, all of the equipment was in great working condition, and the locker room and sauna were spotless. I also had the "I Love Veggies" shake four times during my visit, and it was excellent every single time! Overall, I had a great experience and will definitely be back the next time I'm in town. I love Fitness CF. THERE IS A SENSE OF COMMUNITY WHEN YOU WORK OUT TOGETHER! I absolutely taking the zumba classes here, especially with Belkys who is an amazing Zumba Instructor. Literally exercise in disguise, it is so much fun dancing latin based rhythms. They have a smoothie stand and the bathrooms are clean.They even have showers and a green turf. They have cardiovascular machines and a separate section for free weightlifting. They have Hydromassages there as well to unwind, recover and relax after a hard workout. read more

Honestly kind of over this location, poor customer service. Policies that aren't enforced, like tanks, no covered shoes or not called out by the gyms favorites. Ifs very favoritism. Machines are constantly breaking but are not fixed such as the leg abducter that has been broke for the last 3 weeks. Ayman the personal trainer is very rude. About to just overall cancel this family plan, not worth it considering all the new gyms opening up. Update: the leg machines is still down, bc it only goes to five and doesn't go back to level 6 and has been the same. The favoritism is real, and it's crazy for the owner to dismiss something that I believe to be true bc I've seen it with my own eyes and talked with others. In addition I have no problem wearing shoes, it's the principal of the every time I go in there someone is breaking a policy but not confronted. The response the owner made back tells you all you need to know about how they run this place. I love how he also left out about poor customer service, and the plates being all over the place and the bathroom being dirty. read more

I joined a fitness program through my employer's health insurance plan. This was one of the many gyms listed as eligible for use. I was super excited because this one is in super close proximity to my home. When I arrived, I was super impressed by how big this location is. I was greeted right away and assisted with the registration process. The only reason I'm giving a 4 star review instead of a 5 star is because I wasn't offered a tour of the facilities, so I had to explore on my own and figure out where things were. My favorite things about this location is the fact that there is a women's only section. It's tough sometimes to be a female and trying to workout without having men staring or taking pictures, so kudos to Fitness CF for being considerate of this. I also like that for a minimal fee, there is childcare offered, for those days when my little one is with me. Other notable features: They have a shake bar, where you can order custom protein shakes. I've been walking for fitness every day for the past four years. I finally got bored with the neighborhood scenery, and decided to take a drop in zumba class at a well known fitness center in a nearby town. The instructor was fantastic! But I don't like going to that facility because I have to get on the I4 interstate. Then I googled zumba classes near me and saw that this instructor, Brooke, teaches zumba at Fitness CF. While this gym is a 20 minute drive away, I decided to get the free three day pass to check it out. I was pleasantly surprised at how big the gym is. There are a fair number of cardio machines, stretching area and weights, and also two aerobics studios plus a spin studio, as well as a mini gym/cardio room for women only and a children's play room. In my younger years I was something of a gym rat, and the energy in this place reminded me of the early years of the Bally/Jack LaLanne fitness center I used to go to in Englewood Cliffs, NJ back in the day when it was sparkling and new. As soon as you open the front door you can hear the clank of weights and whir of machines, people talking and a general feeling of earnest optimism in the air. These are goal oriented fitness enthusiasts. Two things scored points right away. The members are very polite and non intrusive, and the facility, including locker rooms, shower and sauna are very clean. The first zumba class I took was being run by a sub, and I had trouble following. It was ok, but not ideal. She was enthusiastic and the music was fine. However, when I take Brooke's class I have no trouble following because her cueing and musicality are impeccable. I also found out that while walking is great and sustainable, i had lost some upper body mobility and flexibility and initially my feet refused to move smoothly on side to side moves. It is so true that "if you don't use it, you lose it." I'm getting better with that now. Anyway, if you have any interest in fitness, check this place out. You win't be disappointed. And while at first the crowd looks to be young, there is actually a wide range of ages from young to old. There's something for everyone! read more

To start off, I've never been a Karen or even a review kind of guy, I'm a 23 y/o male lol. Hell I think this might be my first review ever but the experience that I just had with this place was abysmal. As a young adult, I have a pretty tight work/school schedule and will have to squeeze my workouts super early or super late quite often. This night (August 1st), I decided to get a workout in around 10pm being fully aware my time was limited since the gym closed at 11pm, which was completely fine with me. For the first 20 mins, the workout went as expected. Around the 10:25pm timeframe is when the BS started. The first reminder of the closing time was announced which is pretty standard. From there, the TVs were turned off about a couple seconds later which was also something I thought was odd given the time but I overlooked as well... not a big deal. From there followed the music, all 30 mins before close btw but not a big deal either. From there about every 10mins the young dude in the front desk announced the time til close in a passive aggressive "gtfo" manner like we didn't just hear the closing time a couple minutes prior. It didn't end there though...around 10:45ish the mouth breathing Neanderthal in the front starts flickering the lights on purpose signaling people to leave ...keep in mind still BUSINESS HOURS by the way. And like I said earlier, not a Karen but pretty sure that's not safe for the people that you know ...are working out. And not to mention PAY with their hard earned money for a place to workout in its said OPEN business hours. Anyways, he did that for about 3 more consecutive times before the closing, which is ridiculous. I finished my workout around 10:52pm because I've never been the type to try to stay past closing time because I understand that the staff is human too and I would want to go home after a long day as well, I understand. But I'd being lying to you if I told you I still felt that same way about the staff that was closing this night. On the way out at 10:55pm after visiting the locker room to look at myself like everybody else does, I was annoyed already but I thought to myself to purchase an energy drink for the early shift I have in the morning. I go to the same front desk staff member who'd id mentioned all over this review to give this place additional business by purchasing a beverage, which I was told that "the system is closed". Whether that was true or not, I don't know but from my judgement of integrity I have a suspicion to believe that was not true at all since I have purchased beverage slightly before closing before. That was pretty much my sign that this was the last month that this establishment will ever see a cent out of my pocket again; I don't care if they don't need it. And the cherry on top, is that upon realizing it was only 10:58pm by the time I got to my vehicle, the lights were out on the inside, which is funny because it's still technically open according to desk boy who only mentioned it 100 times in the last hour. I advise this place to make some serious changes if they want some loyal customer retention. Absolutely f***ing ridiculous. Take your hard earned money elsewhere where they'll value your time, experience, and satisfaction. Hope this helps somebody make an educated decision before investing your time and money at this place. read more

Since my last check-in, I wanted to leave an update, but I've not had a chance. My update: Went and took another yoga class with Ashley. Yoga was very good, and hot. I enjoyed every minute of the class. After class, I decided to stay and continue my workout. while I was using the machines I noticed that the machines had a sign saying "no phones allowed while using machines". This is a huge plus and I am glad they added this. Not sure if the ladies area they put the stickers on, but I noticed it in the unisex area. Can't wait to go back! read more

Waited for the General Mgr. (Mike) while he was on personal call for over 15 mins. Just wanted to ask question. He looked at me and then continued on with his phone all, repeating to the person, "Don't worry you can call me anytime." Seemed like he just wanted to continue his phone call. Had to wait until the trainer in front of his desk was free with client to ask him my question. Mike never got of phone or at least apologize for being so rude. Did not expect this from the general manager. I could hear that they were just talking about the same thing over and over (coming back to gym, or if he or she had to pay again, etc.) He could have told caller to hold off for a minute and find out what I needed. This is for their South Lakeland location. I have been in the fitness industry, in some capacity, my entire adult life. That allowed me to work out in many gyms throughout the US and a couple of foreign countries. In over 20 years, I have NEVER encountered ruder, more unwelcoming people than I did at CF Fitness today. I walked in, and 2 ladies were talking, I said I would like to join. She said, Chris do you want it, or do you want me to take it? It was clear that NO ONE wanted to take it. However, he was kind enough NOT to exhale and roll his eyes. The gym was formerly Just Move; the stairmasters have been grinding for the last 2 years I've been visiting. I asked if they had been repaired, and I also inquired as to a promotion they were running on IG. Keirston was dismissive and rude. I joined Crunch, where I was greeted politely and even given a tour. The stairmasters were well-maintained at Crunch and they are getting new hammer-strength equipment soon. They also have great AC, so it wasn't like walking into a sauna. :) read more

An amazing facility! They have done an amazing job with social distancing. Making sure everyone has temp checks before entering as well as personal spray bottles and towels. The staff have been so positive through it all. I always feel welcome when I visit. The trainers are awesome and take the time to get to know everyone. I am really happy with this gym. I'm not normally a gym-goer but am on a quest to get healthy and hit my goal weight, so I am making a habit of it. Everyone at this location is super friendly and very eager to help. I am happy with the pricing for both my membership and for personal training. I began training last week and am really thankful for it. My sessions have been fantastic. I also want to mention that I am overweight and not in the best shape. I have been hitting it hard and it is not cute. I have never felt judged by another member and never felt intimidated in the slightest, and there are some extremely fit people working out here. That's a huge plus. The kids club is awesome; my kiddo looks forward to going and it helps tremendously to keep me motivated to go to the gym instead of sitting at home. I have yet to try any of the group fitness classes, but it's on my list of things to try. read more

I moved to Clermont from NJ last year, where I belonged to LA Fitness. The LA Fitness locations here were a 45-minute drive away. I went once to the Winter Garden location, and it was dingy looking. Plus, they didn't have certain equipment that I need to get back in shape. So I checked out this Fitness CF, which is 10 minutes from my home. And I love the place! They have every piece of equipment I could possibly want, plus a special area just for women that is rarely crowded. The staff always is welcoming, and the place is super clean, bright and open. They provide towels and sanitizing squirt bottles by every single machine to wipe down equipment. The locker room is immaculate! I couldn't ask for a better gym experience. read more

I stopped here while on vacation in Florida, and this is without a doubt the nicest gym I have ever visited. Whether you are wanting to use cross-fit equipment, free weights, cables, or cardio machines, this gym has it all. Not to mention, the cardio section has over 20 different TV screens with a jumbo-screen in the center of all the action. This gym has good equipment when its working. Far too crowded even during slow hours. Watch out for their sneaky cancellation fee of $105 and they'll charge you for an additional month on top of that despite canceling weeks before the next billing cycle. Very disappointing. read more

Paid $280 for personal training sessions. Saw the trainer 1 time due to his lack of professionalism with scheduled appointments (trainer would not show up for appointment I have text confirming this). Covid had gyms closed for so long that I was never able to use the credit. Now I am cancelling my membership until things are more stable and they are refusing to refund me based on "training is non refundable"...the trainer they provided me did not do his job so I get stuck with the bill? Bad business would never recommend this place. read more

I love this gym so much, the staff are incredibly friendly. And it's never busy to the point where i can't workout. It's well lit and very open so I dont feel trapped in and the locker rooms are very well maintained. I live less than 5 minutes away from this specific location but I'm moving about 25 minutes away in a few weeks. There's another cf fitness where I'm moving that's nearby but I'm 110% making the drive to this one regardless. read more

The manager Austin told me he would call me back to address my issues, he never did make the manager at the location I was frequenting was condescending arrogant and the reason I canceled my membership! Further, This place only cares about the monthly membership fees, they don't give a damn about the people that pay those fees! When I got hurt at CF fitness, they didn't even bother to offer any type of help or first aid, in fact, they don't even have a first aid kit there! No ice, no bandages and no concern!!! Initial reaction to this place is great. Good bang for the buck and has a lot more than the gym I was at. Has a nice locker area that you would think would be safe, it is not. Had my CC taken from my wallet. Yes I had a dial lock on and if you know they are rather easy to get into. I had little to no compassion on the matter and I am the one who had to call back a 2nd time to speak with anyone. This person was questioning me as though I was at fault! Bad attitude from the person I spoke with. If you are new to a gym you may find this place intimidating. Plenty of screaming (yes screaming) guys in the free weight area, fortunately I have my headphones to drown them out.
