Ugh. Plus, as I mentioned before, the manager for this particular store is a jerk who should be fired and taught how to properly deal with customers in a way that validates them...even remotely. The coaches honestly made me feel like a member. They me feel like I was family. I met Kristen and Bill and instantly felt like we were best friends. Bill is a great coach. Drew takes a special interest in each one of his members in a way that I've never experienced. If you don't go for a couple of days, you can bet you'll get a text from Drew. Unlike other gyms, he'll reach out to you simply because he wants you to improve, not just because your renewal date is coming up. They also regularly program interesting workouts to keep you on your toes. Over the course of 18 months, the workouts never got easy because Drew kept finding ways to keep them challenging. During my time at Be Strong, I truly felt like I had a community of people who cared about my personal progression. Other gyms can be intimidating, lots of people trying to impress each other, trying to date each other, being brutes. The work out company is different. It's a community filled with locals who love fitness, from casual exercise to intense weight lifting. People greet each other and talk to each other, as a community should. So at 9:07 after she took several minutes not finding his reservation and she said there was plenty of room in the class he could not do the class or the next one for the Day. Is that how you get new members? Is that how you treat customers? Unbelievably disappointed. He will not be joining. I called to ask the girl at the front desk to have her manager call me. Instead of apologizing she argued with me. I really hope I get a call back. I hate that this happened because I really enjoyed coming here when I visited home and the trainers were great. The actual swimming pool area has issues. They constantly play music through a lame speaker and it's never anything anyone wants to hear. So the idea of swimming some laps in peace is just out the window. People monopolizing swimming lanes to socialize or play when there is a play pool ten feet away makes me dissatisfied.
