The best one-on-one program for overall fitness that I've worked with. Exercises engage multiple muscle groups in a full range of motion. Adjustments are made as needed to bring those muscle groups up to speed so that everything is progressing together. Everyone is positive and encouraging every step of the way. You will work hard, sweat, but feel energized for the day. As a pretty atrophied senior, after a month of 2x a week sessions the increase in strength, mobility and stability really surprised me. The best place to workout! Having tried many different gyms, this is the only one that has truly stuck. I've been working out here for years and don't see that changing anytime soon. The staff genuinely cares about helping you reach your fitness goals and they take to time to really get to know each and every client. Gyms in general can be very intimidating; and this is the only gym where I've always felt comfortable and welcomed. The facilities are clean & well maintained, and the equipment is all new & top-notch. Kyle, the owner and my trainer, is exactly what I needed: super knowledgeably, great motivator (but not in an over aggressive way), and overall good guy. They are very fair in accommodating me when need be. The fact that they trust me with what I am telling them makes it easy to work with them on scheduling. Kyle is very quick to respond with changes or anything that need be. Love that it is not a big gym and more personalized. A small family is best way to describe it. I don't feel like I am in a "pool of filth". I do not have to clean up after someone. I belong to another gym right off Crown Valley and I get so grossed out when I go to use the equipment. People are very inconsiderate and do not put their weights back and or clean up after they drip their sweat. So gross! Training is fun and I am seeing results. Earvin is flexible in my training and listens to me and yet catches me if my form is incorrect, and curtails me when I get too hyper and not want to take the rests that are needed in between sets. He also knows what motivates me and will make changes to what was originally planned to accommodate my needs for that day. And we have FUN! Kyle, Earvin and Christian are great! read more

I have been working out at the Dana Point location for almost 3 years now. Tim, Amy & now Matt have really helped to keep me on my toes. They make the workout fun (something I had never before thought possible!). The trainers are all very professional and very knowledgeable about anatomy and kinesiology. They not only know the various workouts but know WHY they combine them. They also keep apprised of the trainees abilities. I have crummy knees. When I started doing squats, the trainer realized I could not go so low and gave me a higher mark to shoot for. I am a physician and the first tenet is "Do no harm." I have been working out with FT for many years and can honestly say that they have done me no harm but have made me stronger and more fit. I started working out after having breast cancer and the medications were heading me to osteoporosis. My primary goal with FT was to increase bone density. I now have normal bone density. I do not work out because I love to sweat. I work out for my health. I have been doing virtual training via zoom three times a week since covid. They have got zoom down to a science and I am grateful that they provided the option. read more

I have been a client of Fitness Together - Dana Point for more than 3 years now. Before joining Fitness Together I was very reluctant to join a gym. I had heard my friends talk about the gyms they belonged to as meat markets, and I had no desire to be a part of that. Luckily, Fitness Together bears no resemblance to a meat market. My trainers, Amy and Tim, made me feel right at home from the start, or as at home as one can feel while doing walking lunges, squats, leg presses, etc. They are both wonderful trainers and do a great job of making me feel my workouts the day after, and sometime the day after that. And they do a great job of mixing up the workouts so you're not doing the same routine week after week. I started at Fitness Together 3 years ago when I was 46yrs old. I was starting to get soft everywhere and I felt like my body was slowing down - everything made me tired.
