Courtney the teacher was helpful and friendly. There was something calming about hearing the waves purr in the background while doing chaturanga. Arms and shoulders were varying degrees of sore the next day. We peeked at the Zumba class going on after yoga, and it looked like a high-energy party. If we were staying in PCB longer, we definitely were up for trying out more classes. So yeah, exercise being a highlight of our trip sounds very strange but it was!

If you want a studio that will watch your children while you do yoga, or if you would like your child to take dance instruction, then this is the place for you. If you'd like a quiet setting to practice yoga in, then you should probably look elsewhere. Said children and dance lessons will be all you hear while you're trying to focus. They do also offer yoga on the beach though, so that is also an option if that's your thing. All in all it's not a bad studio, but it's not what I'm personally looking for.

I'm used to breaking a sweat during asanas in hot yoga, so this was a nice change of pace... slow, gentle stretches that included holding a relaxing position on a bolster.

This place was great!…read more Did a drop-in yoga class for gentle yoga while on vacation. The booking was super easy online and $20 for a drop-in class, and check-in was a breeze. I loved how intimate the studio was - I'd imagine a class of more than 10-15 would feel crowded. Everyone there was very friendly and was impressed with the instruction - laid-back but also very practical. They don't expect everyone to know all the terms, so I'd say the gentle yoga class would be very beginner-friendly. They have everything you need - mats, towels, even a little water cooler, so don't worry if you don't have your gear. Parking wasn't an issue, and there's a juice bar right across the street if you want a treat post-workout. I'll come back next time I'm in town!
