In fact, Boscov's was the ONLY credit card they EVER HAD! They were so cute . . . Anyway, with the decline of poor (formerly Echelon Mall) Voorhees Town Center, Boscov's is the only anchor (dept) store left here! They have me captive and now I'm a customer AND fan! The ladies dept has beautiful formal dresses; the children's dept has nice clothing and great deals and I really "mopped up" on Champion brand (heavy weight) tees & shorts for my son a few weeks ago. I splurged a bit on myself in both the jewelry & home decor departments. I'm guessing I got bargains due to the post holiday season. I bought two beautiful pair of earrings (one, rhinestone stars - $8; the other, abalone oblong ovals $15). Lastly, I got a set of precious/beautiful mother/babies set of Oleg Cassini crystal ducks (see photo). They were half priced. There was a huge assortment of animals (hummingbirds, penguins, fish) and insects (butterflies, dragonflies), etc. (mushrooms, a clam with a "pearl", paperweights) to choose from! Last month I got a pair of shoes for work that I just love (so comfy) plus a few 6-packs of ankle socks for my daughter for only $1.99/ea! A bonus to shopping here is that you can get in and out quickly. The mall is all but dead now and there are usually more than enough cashiers around. They still even offer free gift wrap in Customer Service (lower level near toys). Lastly,check out the candy department with Godiva and Asher's if you're in a bind for a gift or want a yummy treat. You can even just buy a single chocoalte covered pretzel, etc., if you have a whooley!

Reasonable pricing with lots of sale items. Hardest part was finding a sales person for help as many of the checkout counters are closed. Staffing is at a limited.

To my astonishment, she asked me to bring a similar item to her. Me, the customer will bring the item to the SA, seriously? Since when do customers work for a ROSS SA? When, never!!! With an attitude like that, you should NEVER work In retail that involves more customer service period. To management of Ross please improve your hiring and training process. Basics first, the rest will follow eventually. Experience like this will stop returning customers from coming.

When retail business declines, these companies continue to flourish for a reason, they have an operation, where regardless of city, state, or socioeconomic difference, you can always expect to find quality items at discounted, and/or affordable pieces. Because of the aforementioned, I initially opt to not take a car through the store, knowing that when I do, I'll definitively purchase many more items than intended. Reason- there's always a treasure chest of great finds, and items you forgot you need, want to get, or the price is so reasonable, how could you not purchase the item you're drawn to. The Marshalls and HomeGoods store is divided into one space for the former and the latter. The store is maintained extremely well. The store is clean, add organized, which is often difficult because customers believe they have a sense of entitlement wherever they shop, and whatever they decide they don't want is not placed back where it was found, nor the way it was found (on a hanger, hanging from a display, in the correct aisle, shelf, department, etc.). The store is well lit and spacious. In Marshalls you can find clothes from toddlers to adults of any gender, jewelry, accessories, outerwear, workout essentials, confines, perfumes, shoes, luggage, hair care products and appliances, facial and skincare products, toys, collectibles, sports fan gear, and much more. In HomeGoods, there have seasonal and non-seasonable items well organized and displayed. There's aisles with each of the following, lamps, rugs, furniture, furniture accessories, framed artwork and photos, mirrors, pet supplies, clothes, and accessories, bedding, linens, pillows of all types, sheet sets, comforters, and duvet covers of all sizes, bath products, bath furniture, storage, and accessories. On Friday, when the status was still the same , I called the customer service number. I was told they would try to contact the warehouse but that the package was waiting to be picked up... which I clearly already knew. I called UPS and was told the sender needed to schedule a pickup and that creating a label does lot do that automatically... which I would assume JC Penny would know. I called the customer service number again and was told that they would look into it and if it was not picked up by Monday to call back to have another one sent. Seriously? Another smaller, private company wanted to charge close to that as well. After searching high and low for 2 months, I came across an advertisement for Hobby Lobby. The online ad mentioned 50% off on framing. I immediately jumped in my car and drove to Cherry Hill. Upon arrival, I found a bustling store with a lot of people. I made my way back to the framing section and was met by a nice young lady who helped me pick out a frame and went over a few details. Once she rang up everything, she told me the price. I almost fainted bc I had prepared myself to hear another $600-$700 quote/estimate. Nope! The cost at Hobby Lobby was $299 + tax. I almost threw my panting over the counter bc I was so happy. I was given an invoice and due date to pick-up my framed painting. I arrived 2 weeks later to pick-up the painting and I could not have been happier. I am totally in love with how everything turned out. I truly appreciate Hobby Lobby for helping me in my time of need and for upgrading my painting!!
