Jane's is adorable. It's a large space where walk inside are welcome and you can also just stop in for a cup of tea. I'd probably all it a tea shop rather than a tea room. For me tea room evokes a certain air of elegance, quiet and privacy. This was not quite that. It's a beautifully decorated space, there is a photo booth room with props (the photo booth has a crazy lag though). Plenty of seating is available. My friend and I booked the Holiday Tea and it was holiday themed food but not really much holiday decor. The courses were delicious for the most part, however, I feel like the chicken salad lacked flavor and the pumpkin pie tart barely had any pumpkin. The tea flavors were exquisite. I very much enjoyed the themed tea and the cream Earl Grey. Service was a little slow and we were kind of left for a while. We had to ask for to go boxes and "what next?" I had prepaid so we didn't have to wait for a check. We enjoyed our time, it was an adorable place.

Fun! The food was better than some teas I've had in the UK. Definitely will be returning

My friend hosted her baby shower here. The location is very cute and on the corner near some other local shops. There is a small parking lot across the street, as well as street parking or other back lots behind other shops. The day of the baby shower, there unfortunately was a festival which required the entire street to be shut down. Thankfully I received a ride to the teahouse from my husband, but parking was a little difficult for patrons who arrived after me. The inside of the restaurant is super cute, and they have three different rooms. Her party was separated into two rooms, and in the middle room is where the favors, cake, and gifts were stored. The china was beautiful and perfectly matched each set. Our waitress was really friendly and helpful when we were asking for recommendations on teas to choose from. We were given a house blend tea, and able to choose from two other tea flavors for the table. We ended up picking the Apple Spice and Lorie Valley Peach. My favorite out of those two were the Lorie Valley Peach. Apple Spice was good, but felt heavier (like Christmas). We then had a tray filled with tea sandwiches, scones, and desserts. The chocolate chip scone was absolutely delicious! I wish I could have eaten it all, but we were so full! When it was time for our friend to open gifts, since everyone was spread out, we all had to stand up from where we were seated and walk into the next room (with everyone standing around). It got a little crowded, but it was still nice. We also appreciated that the restaurant allowed champagne and juice to be brought in, so we had "Mom-osas"! The bathroom is cute and is one person only. They also have a small alcove with a photobooth (including props) which is super cute! You are even able to send the pictures to your phone. We had a great time!

Was a guest at a baby shower here and it was delightful. Even as a non tea drinker I enjoyed the intimate, bright space while we showered the mom to be. There are two rooms, one larger (30 guests) the other smaller (15 guests). The only negative was there is one bathroom located in the larger party space so we ended up feeling like we were infringing on the other party to get to the bathroom. Other than that it's a nice space with a lot of decor potential. We had a choice of 3 teas for the table. We leaned towards fruit forward teas and they were delicious! Everyone also chose a scone of their choice. Do yourself a favor and choose the savory garlic, herb scone, it was perfection. The tea sandwiches were good but not great. The dessert was very surprising! Everything was so yummy and the perfect contrast to the sandwiches with the tea. The chocolate mousse was a favorite, the whipped cream is YUMMMM. Fruit tart was perfectly tart and delectable. Overall a great experience, would come again!

I ordered a bistro box according to the specifications directly from the website and did not receive what I paid for. I tried a bite of what looked like cut up strawberries and feta on hard bread, and it was awful. Then when we called to let them know, we were simply told, "Sorry, the bistro box is seasonal, and those things you asked for shouldn't be there available to order." (And yet, they are.) Feels like bait and switch to me, which is very irritating. It wouldn't have been the biggest deal in the world, if the food that I received were not things that I don't love, and the scone, which has been very good in the past, is cold and hard, as opposed to being recently baked. Used to love this place and am disappointed with this experience as well as with the fact that they didn't make it right when informed of how it was wrong.

I had received a gift card to Jane's last year for Christmas and wanted to try it. I was very frustrated when I arrived as parking is very minimal, the city is tearing up the streets and the police had two spaces blocked out front. I actually called from the car, but the staff at Jane's weren't much help. I was also surprised when walking in that there was a lunch card coffee from Dunkin sitting on the counter, clearly one of the staff members. We had the High Tea. The sandwiches were good, but very small and the sweets were so sweet that could not be eaten. The decor was done poorly, and not attractive at all. Our table near the window wobbled and spilled everything set on it. Unfortunately compared with other tea rooms this one did not measure up.

To start off, I would never have chosen to go here, but my lovely lady made the plans for the day. Excuse the pun , but a place like this is not my cup of tea. We went there and it was a pre-fixed menu where they bring out a pot of tea to share, and then you start off by selecting any additional tea. You get a salad, it has blue cheese crumbles with a raspberry vinaigrette dressing. Then they bring out the food tower. It had savory and sweet scones with clotted cream, herb butter and mango chutney . The sandwitches were small two bite sandwiches, and they were just okay. The desserts were two bites also and it was a very light lunch. Overall, she was happy, so I was happy, but I would never choose to go there myself. It's was nice to experience with her.

PRO TIP: Do not come hungry, do not come expecting a full meal. You are basically paying for an "experience." A pricey choice for our book club - 9 of us, and with tip, we each shelled out $43. Don't bother walking in - you need a reservation, especially on weekends. I get it, you're paying for the experience of a tea house, but I guess it just wasn't my cup of tea. Don't come hungry - the miniscule tea sandwiches are not going to fill you up unless you eat like a bird. The tea that was served to us automatically was reminiscent of English breakfast tea - you'd think for a tea house, we'd get something a little more exotic. It was LOUD in there - good for them, they had a full house, but we could hardly hear each other. Bummer - It took forever to be served, and then we had to be told to leave because they had a reservation coming in 10 minutes and they needed our tables. We just spent close to $400, so that was disappointing. They do have fabulous scones - but at the a la carte price of nearly $5 each...

Table for Summer Tea at Jane's Tea House

Few special eating experiences still exist. Jane's Tea House is one of them. Go for a special occasion or just when you need to create a special occasion. The Summer Tea provides a serving tower of savory and sweet food for two; we had one for two vegetarians and one for the other two of us. The tea was tasty, the cold tea in Mason jars was perfect for a 90 degree day. The service was excellent and the owner came around to speak to each table. We chose Jane's Tea House for lunch after a funeral at Harleigh Cemetery. The staff accommodated our timing, and was delightful.

I love tea and nothing like visiting Jane's Tea House is a great family owned and operated business. I love the location and the whole idea of this quaint little town. I was able to meet 'Lady Jane'. To start parking was easier than I thought and Jane's Tea house is easy to find. The decor inside and out is very inviting. Once inside the staff is friendly and the service is prompt. I read the reviews so I ordered my to go scone's immediately. TGlad I did they were delicious. The tea, food, company and service were all very good. I felt relaxed and satisfied at the end. Compared to other tea houses serving afternoon tea the price is slightly higher but not significant just enough to mention. One suggestion to help customers tea to remain hot provide some type of heating element; a teapot warmer base with a tea light candle, wrap the pot in a 'cozy' or offer more hot water. This is the difference between 4 and 5 stars. Would I return? Yes even with the 40 minute drive!

Pros - very cute set up once you walk inside - their teas are amazing! I absolutely loved the mango mist - they offer generous food portions for their afternoon tea set - the teapots and cups are so adorable, made me want to buy a set myself! - service is wonderful, our server took the time to explain each item and how to order Cons - no diaper changing table in the bathroom :( - the setup is nice but I wish they offered a warmer environment that's more conducive to lounging and relaxing (eg more comfortable chair and tables) - the building is quite old so you could tell they tried to patch up certain old parts of the shop in a cheap way Overall, food and service is awesome but atmosphere of the place needs some work

So happy with our bridal shower at Jane's! First... the food was excellent. Love the scones, quiche and of course, dessert! Charming tea room, easy location and sweet touches everywhere you look. Amazing tea selections - lots of choices of quality teas! Family owned, easy to work with and accommodating, professional service and lots of smiles all around. Could not have asked for more.

Such a cute and fun place. The Christmas tea I went to was a great menu and they easily accommodated my allergies. Everything was tasty and looked beautiful

The vibes are "cozy, coffee snob but they're cool about." We decide to go with an Americano for me, a cappuccino for the misses, two breakfast sandwiches and a peanut butter chocolate muffin for The Little One. Meh. My Americano tasted like TEA. Like straight up Earl Gray. I let The Misses try before I told her what I ordered, and she said, "why did you order TEA?" By that point, it was busy and I didn't feel like making a fuss about it, but if you dilute my DOUBLE espresso so much it tastes like tea, or you just straight up gave me the wrong drink, we are off to a bad start. The misses Cappuccino cup was half full, and half of that half was foam. And the part that wasn't foam wasn't even good. I'm sensing that you just shouldn't get anything involving espresso from the ol Brown Dog Cafe. The breakfast sandwiches were also.....meh. They worked, but absolutely nothing you couldn't get microwaved from Starbucks or Dunkin. Now the muffin was an absolute winner. I'll give Mimi her credit here. Maybe they should turn into a bakery and forego the coffee stuff. ANYwho...I don't see a reason to go back. Our table was dirty where we sat, and we actually just cleaned it ourselves with wipes before sitting down. We cleaned it ourselves after for whomever would come in after us, since it was clear the staff weren't going to do it. It's a cozy place to settle in and eat a muffin and maybe a regular coffee, but I certainly wouldn't be ordering another Americano from them anytime soon.

I'm a repeat customer, and here's some things I just have to say! DRIVE This location is about 10-15 minutes away from Cherry Hill Mall. PARKING Despite the parking lot being small, there is also some street parking available. It's a cozy cute lot, but it definitely needs some updating as there's some noticeable dips and pot holes. On the weekdays, around lunch time, I still have a spot to pull into but there is some coming and going from the plaza itself. SHOP The overall location of the shop is super cozy and cute, with a theatre right across the street. I didn't realize Ohana is also a sit down shop until it was asked. There's not many tables and chairs, but I was told most people pick up their food and go. I definitely want to come back and sit down at some point because it's so cute and cozy. I felt weird taking photos of everything, and felt a bit disrespectful since I wasn't staying to sit down and also have been taking my food to go for quite a while now. SELECTION I keep coming back here because this is the only Poke location & shop in the Southern Jersey / Philly area that has its selection. The first time I ever had Poke was in New York City. I had bulgogi with mango cucumbers pineapple sticky white rice and a sauce I can't remember off the top of my head. Ohana has been as close to that taste and selection as possible compared to others who have Poke shops. You may think adding mango and pineapple is weird to Poke, but it really adds flavor to the bowl. My favorite sauce is citrus ponzu. They have many other things to choose from on the menu like mochi, bubble tea, & other drinks. Like I said, I just need to come in and have a sit down meal one of these days and enjoy a little bit of everything Ohana has to offer. The girl at the reception is always really awesome & chill too! PRICE This location & shop has the largest portions available that are worth it for the price! Poke, no matter where you go, does not come cheap. Whenever I buy from here, I get a good 2 full meals worth of Poke whether I choose a small (1 protein) or large (2 protein). You also get 5 add ins no matter the portion size you choose. But even then the bowl sizes are much bigger than anywhere else I've ever been, but not as big as the one I had in NYC. NYC Poke is on a whole other level. Anywhere else, I get 1 meal and it's pricey and they don't have the selections I go for. Poke does not come cheap so you want to have a good variety of options & also a decent portion sized. This place is worth the bang for a buck! IF YOU'RE KNEW, If you're new to Poke Bowl's, I would go for white rice, salmon, corn, scallions, carrots, and cucumbers. MY GO TO ORDER: Large. White rice. Spicy mayo on top of white rice. Salmon & Tofu. Pineapple, mango, cucumbers, carrots, & corn. Crispy noodles. Citrus ponzu sauce. It may change 1 or 2 ingredients depending on what I'm in the mood for! Would love to see bulgogi, beef/steak or other meats added as an option for protein. But not necessary since what they do have I'm really enjoying! OVERALL I will definitely be a repeat visitor at Ohana whenever I'm in the South Jersey / Philadelphia area. I bounce around quite a bit between Philly, North Jersey, & NYC.
