Half of the stores were unfortunately closed! There were a fair amount of shoppers present. Half of the stores present are just your typical chain stores. The food court is bustling at least which happens to be conveniently right next door to the movie theater. Mall is well maintained with plenty of great amenities. Overall, Casual mall experience though it could of been way better.

Everything sat where it was supposed to sit, which felt almost unnatural for a store this size. Despite the sprawl, I found what I needed quickly, as if the shelves had been arranged by some benevolent hand that wanted me to succeed. Self checkout was quick and painless. The machines did their work. I did mine. Nobody complained. Out in the lot, there was plenty of parking. Rows and rows of empty spaces waiting for people to fill them with carts of back to school supplies and impulse buys. I did not interact with a single human being during my entire time there, nor did I need to. It was efficient. It was ordinary. And in a world that so often makes simple things hard, ordinary felt pretty wonderful. Four stars.

If you frequent Walmarts, then you pretty much know their layout and stock - it's the same here. The main difference is that most things were well stocked and things looked generally clean. I actually found everything I needed on this trip. I hardly had any interaction with employees (which is always a good thing), but there were actually three friendly employees. Imagine that, friendly employees at a Walmart! Who'd have ever thought it was possible. Some of the aisles need to be widened, only because some customers can't seem to manage a cart and/or feel they have the right to block everyone else from accessing certain areas while they take their time. Speaking of, the customers of Walmart are typical - zombie-like, rude, oblivious, creepy, weird, smelly, clueless, selfish, and animalistic. This one had some of those, but not as many as other locations tend to harbor. This location shares the land with other businesses, but parking is pretty good space-wise. Most of the customers cause issues in the closer spots near the front, but if you park near the rear then you'll be free of that. The general area is a good one, so having an actual decent Walmart for the area is a good thing. I'd easily come back here again if I'm in the area and in need of a Walmart.

I was having a great day today, ran in during my lunch break to pick up a few items and do some returns. Marlene who was next to Vivian's register was useless. She saw me next in line after her customer already left, but she didn't call me up next. She engaged in a conversation with Vivian, then turned away, to check something out behind her (completely ignoring the line!!!!!!!) The line was building up, Shawna even asked for assistance over the loudspeaker for other registers to open up. This unprofessional, careless behavior was apparent to the customers who were in line waiting to get called!! Finally Vivian's customer got done, and she proceeded to call me up after another conversation with Marlene. As I approached Vivian, I said "hi how are you?" to which I didn't get a response. I then explained to her I have 2 returns and a purchase. 1 of my items wasn't on the receipt so Vivian threw it back towards me on the counter, saying "I can't do this one, it's not on this receipt" I told her this is the only receipt I was given, it was all 1 purchase. Turns out the associate that was helping me last week when I was purchasing these items, never scanned it! But that is my fault somehow????? Shouldn't she be thankful I brought the item back, instead of just keeping it?? What is wrong with her?! After my returns were finally completed (because Shawna came over and helped fix the issue) because she needed help from everyone. Seems like she is incompetent to even do her job. Vivian then scanned my water bottle and another item that I purchased, she again threw it into my bag. Who throws things?? Was she never thought how to handle customers?? She is an adult who should know the basics of customer service. I had to check to make sure my bottle didn't have dents from the impact of how she threw it. This behavior was unnecessary and unprofessional. I am disgusted.

She set me up in a dressing room. She also had the tailor come for alterations. Anna, the tailor, was amazing! She was able to alter the top part of the dress to fit better. She explained the process of payment. If you purchase items at Nordstrom, there is a free tailoring service! You pay with your Nordstrom card then receive the amount in Nordstrom Notes. You do have to use the notes at Nordstrom, Rack or online. At almost $100 for the alterations, I'm happy to have the $$$ to treat myself! The store is bright, clean and has nice displays. The dressing rooms were also clean. Bathrooms for women are in the second level.

While they've clearly invested in renovations and made the space look more modern and upscale, the overall vibe isn't what it used to be. The updates themselves aren't necessarily a bad thing--the mall is cleaner, brighter, and has a more polished look. But with those changes, it feels like the sense of community has faded. It used to be somewhere families, teens, and regular locals could all comfortably spend time together. Now, it feels more exclusive and, at times, less welcoming. The mix of stores has also changed quite a bit, leaning more toward higher-end or trend-driven shops rather than the balanced variety it once had. Because of that, it doesn't feel as accessible or practical for everyday visits. Overall, while the mall may look better on the surface, it has lost some of the character and inclusiveness that made it special in the first place. It's not necessarily worse in every way--but it's definitely not the same.

Apparently every other kid on the planet loves them too, and DT hasn't restocked (summer item, I guess). But there was ONE of these balls left at this DT, and the awesome woman at the register walked back with me, rooted through all the places she knew toys got shuffled and hidden, and she found my son a ball! AWESOME! So helpful and sweet! Made my day, and my son's day!

Came to this gem and was able to pick one up for? Guess how much? $1 with tax $1.07, believe me at the time that bottle opener was priceless. other items I have picked up for the a $1 are 13 pack of trash bags, ziplock bags, 3 pack container of tupperware, a cheap gym bag and 55 pack of laundry sheets. Most importantly and dearest to my heart I drove to several stores trying to find my favorite hot sauce Tapatio, which is everywhere in CA, but no where to be found in Jersey. I went online and ordered a 12 pack, now I can go back to enjoying life.
