I'm not sure if it is for lack of workers, or if they are just slow checking people out.. but yea, I always get caught in a long line. The skin care area here is actually not bad. I do wish there was a tiny bit more organization and it was not as difficult to find what I'm looking for, but it is what it is. The Holiday decor is usually right up front, so I do appreciate that so I don't need to constantly run to the back to check that out when that is usually all I'm there for anyways.

It passed it however, they called in another sales associate to look at it and after they played with the bills for a while they thought one of the ribbons looked funny. They denied it and told me to bring the cash to a bank. I brought the money to USbank and the bills of course were not counterfeit. They have that marker especially to check that but they decided not to trust it and made me run to the bank. I used my debit card so I would not have to make two trips but if they can't accept or tell what real cash is then they need some retraining.

It was a little messy as in products are displaced on the shelves, some have fallen on the floor - typical environment for these kind of stores. Staff members where available throughout the store, but they were more focus on putting out products or ring up customers and move onto the next. It's retail, it's busy, it's understandable. You can definitely find gifts for value. I saw some holiday gifts that I would come back for. Otherwise, they have lots of clothes, beauty/spa products, toys, suitcases, snacks, perfume, bags, and more.

Stopped into We Are Nuts in Saint Paul while in the area. This stop has been on my list since I…read morepurchased the double dipped Virginia peanuts back in October at a cheese shop in WI and brought them on my trip to Mexico. When I say I would have purchased ALL the bags of these fabulous things, I mean it. I didn't realize they shared the same space with Saint Paul Discount Grocery store which I heard about sometime ago, so perfect day to check them both out. It was a one stop shop! It ended up being a little adventure just browsing around. There's a section right when you walk in dedicated to We Are Nuts items and the grocery store side offers lots of items from frozen to cereal to canned items to refrigerated items (to name a few). It wasn't busy so it was nice to be able to freely browse around. I thought prices were affordable, shelves were stocked, and I left with a few items. What really stood out to me was the incredible customer service I received on Saturday, 1/17/26. Both ladies were very nice and kind. Bridgett was especially personable and went the extra mile simply just letting me know how everything worked here while stocking the shelves and even asked how I was doing. The genuine level of customer service really made me feel valued and didn't go unnoticed. Looking forward to future visits.
