Waldoch Farm and Garden Center is a fun place for all ages to explore and see! I went back in mid August and didn't know what to expect as it was my first time there. Parking was free and easy. Once you get to the entrance gate, you'll be greeted by staff to show your admission ticket or buy tickets. It's reasonable priced. I purchased the admission with ride and getting a sunflower option. Service was fast and friendly. There's a station near the front to line up for the hay ride which approximately runs every 15-20 minutes. But my friends and I decided to explore other stations before doing the hay ride. There were mini houses and mini log cabin displays to check out. There was a mini kart race track that adults and kids can actually grab a kart and peddle around the track. That was a fun experience! There's also a okay ground that both kids and adults can play Through the courses.. Once we got through the stations, we headed back to the entrance to wait for the hayride. The hayride would bring us way back into the fields where you can see them growing peppers, sunflowers and pumpkins. We were dropped off into the sunflower fields to browse, take pics and then eventually able to pick a sunflower or flowers form the fields at the end per the packages we laid for. I had to leave early so I was t able to cut one for myself. But would love to come back another time to experience it again haha. read more

Waldoch is the perfect farm for picking up some pumpkins and has fun activities for everyone. I went with my sister (no kids) and we had a blast. It was $12 to go through the maze and definitely worth it. Along with the corn maze we had access to a slide, tug of war, and other fun activities. The maze was huge and we spent a good hour going through it. The hayride to the pumpkin patch is free and a beautiful ride through the woods before reaching the patch. There was a good selection of pumpkins both in the patch and the store. All the staff were helpful with questions and the prices were very good. The animals barn included pigs, alpacas, goats and even peacocks. You could purchase various feed for the animals and feed them. There were plenty of photo opportunities throughout whether your looking for a good selfie or a family photo. We didn't try any food, but they had hot dogs and other snacks like kettle corn and chips. It's my new favorite place for pumpkin fun and I will definitely be back and recommend Waldochs to other. read more

What a wonderful experience for families! Your kids will love Waldoch Farm. Parking space are extended for the season. Buy the full day pass and get access to everything on the farm. Come early so your family can enjoy the whole day on the farm. Upon entering the garden area you will purchase tickets in the little sheds. A map of the farm and activities will be provided with a hidden message for the maze. Endless activities for kids of all ages to enjoy. A rope spider web for climbing, large tire swings, race carts course for little kids and older kids, obstacle courses ranging from challenging to easier for all ages, play house, hook the rings activities (this one was tough - unless it's the bigger rings), the big slides...and so much more I can't even name them all. Best part is the farm. There were so many animals from horses, pigs, sheeps, peacocks& more. There was these HUGE goose that everyone was in awe of - I swear they're like almost my size and I'm about 5'1. There are pony rides, veggie cups you can purchase to feed the animals. So bring cash, or you can go inside the garden area to withdraw cash. I thought the hand washing station was so creative. Wish I would've took a picture. But you wouldn't need to wait long! There's plenty of photo worthy stands, including the huge bench that was favored among families. Now, the maze took us about 10-15 minutes. We definitely got lost but found our way. We only went to the small maze, there's also a bigger maze connected in the same field. Along each stop is a letter so you can complete the message on the map. Was a fun experience. Then there's a free hay ride - with no hay - to the pumpkin patch so you can choose your own pumpkin. The ride there and back was about 15 minute total. Along the way are fields of vegetables that was grown on the farm, peppers, peas and etc. Don't worry there's hotdogs, tators, cheese curds and optional drinks if you're in for some treat. I had the cider and it was perfect after a long day here. The kids had a blast and so did the adults. Everything I've mention is just a part of it, there's so much more that I probably didn't talk about but that's why you need to go there to experience it for yourself. read more

Ya knowwww, I'm just a little bit conflicted with this place. Do I love their flowers? Yep, sure do. I'm a local to the neighborhood, have a huge yard with tons of flowers and plants, as well as an indoor plant addiction and every time I'm there, I drop atleast a couple hundred dollars. Easily. My problem? Of the probably 10 times I've been there since I moved here last year, I've encountered two different associates that have been the rudest people I have ever encountered. (In their defense, MOST of them seem lovely or atleast keep to themselves). One of them being today, 6/23, a gentleman that was just helping someone carry some flowers out, probably works in back as he was wearing a blue shirt instead of the normal red. Just pure snide. I'm an introvert, I don't go there asking a million questions (I already know my plants), and the fact that 20% of my experiences here have been with rude people seems unacceptable to me. Hire nicer people, push good customer service and people will come back. Today I left empty handed after said rude encounter...a first for me. I was excited to stop in and this person just made me not even want to be there. I did a quick lap around, realized I didn't feel like spending my money here any longer and left. Realized I had never checked out Wagner's in Hugo so I stopped in. Turns out that place is pretty awesome too, and today they got a good chunk of money from me and I got some awesome plants and no snide people. Im still working on growing my gardens in my home, but highly unlikely that I'm going to return to Waldoch. Plants make me happy, don't need that taken away by sh*tty staff. read more

Although this nursery has a great selection of spring plants, it's "buyer beware", as they do not guarantee or stand behind their plants. I bought several annuals and about 15 herb plants, and had one specialty basil that was dying after less than 2 weeks. (The 4 others in the same pot we're doing great) When I brought it in to see if I could get a new one, I was told, very rudely, "No, we don't guarantee our products. I guess I can sell you a new one for 50% off." It would have been an easy thing to switch out one plant to a customer that bought about 2 dozen, and who now will not be shopping here again. read more

We had a great time today! Got admission for 8.99/person and spent 4.5 hours there and our 4 year old was entertained the whole time. There's playgrounds, a hay ride, animals, corn pit, and pumpkin patch and more. We didn't even get to the corn maze. Great bang for our buck. read more

Super disappointed to show up for our annual family pumpkin adventure to find out they now charge $17.99 person for entry and another $30-40 for pumpkins. Lendt's pumpkin patch just 15 miles north does have free entry. read more

This family-owned farm has always been a favorite of mine. Now, they've adapted their business to let you order online and safely pick up curbside without any interaction with the staff. This was a great experience! We were looking for a safe, outdoor pumpkin patch that wasn't super packed in every corner and this was great at 10:30 am on a Sunday. They had everything set up to keep everyone safe and our three year old had a blast picking pumpkins, swinging on the swing, and pulling the cart. Everyone had a good time! read more

We have enjoyed multiple visits to this great, family run garden center. In the spring we took my mother-in-law. She was amazed at the quality of the plants and the reasonable prices. She is a big time gardener and has been to numerous centers, but she was the most impressed with Waldoch. My boys loved seeing the animals which made for more of an adventure than just looking at plants. We headed there for some fall fun a couple weeks ago. My boys loved the "straw" ride out to pick their pumpkins. My husband & I were pleased with the quantity & quality of the pumpkins as well as the pricing. (We had been disappointed the day before at another location) We didn't so any of corn maze, corn pit or cannon activities as our kiddos are a bit young to make it worth our effort this year, but I am glad to have a place for the future to take them for fall fun. read more

We went out to Waldoch Farm for their Fall Fun Days and really enjoyed it. $10 for adults 13 and over, free for children under 2 (sorry can't remember the other child price). There were pedal trikes for toddlers, kids, and grownups, as well as a corn pit, corn maze, hay ride to the pumpkin patch (or you could just buy them from the store too), spider web climbing thing, swings, corn cannon, mini maze, and a barnyard petting zoo. We had our 19-month old son with us and he really enjoyed everything. It wasn't overly crowded and there was plenty of space for kids to run around and have fun. The Garden Center had a lot of cool frost-tolerant plants and pots for sale. I would definitely go back. I'm also going to check out the produce stand/store during the summer. read more

We love this place. We went out to pick up pumpkins for our little ones. And they offer to take u out to the pumpkin patch in an awesome tractor with great scenery on the way all for FREE. On top of that u can walk through the area where they keep the farm animals. The people who run the place are amazing and always warm and helpful. This is a great Saturday adventure for the family during any season, but fall is our favorite! read more

I have used Waldoch veggie stand for 7-8 years this year I seen they charge to pick your own so been going to another veggie stand and wow so much better than Waldoch think they r getting Money Hungry! The variety and quality here is incredible. Lots of unique flowers for annual pots. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. You'll find everything you need here...trees, annuals, perennials, landscape shrubs, soil, garden tools, etc.. There is a small selection of garden themed trinkets for purchase. Depending on timing, a small farmer's market offers fresh and local produce for purchase. Very well maintained and plenty of room for navigating your cart. read more
