Five Below is like a treasure hunt where almost everything is under $5 (there are items above $5). It's a place where you can get everything from candy to yoga mats. It's like a dollar store on steroids - you walk in for a cheap phone charger and leave with a cart full of stuff you didn't know you needed. Who knew I needed a glitter lava lamp and a set of neon-colored socks? I especially loved their snacks and candy sections. Tons of gummies and throwback candy I ate all the time as a kid. Five stars for making me spend $50 on things that are somehow both essential and completely unnecessary! read more

I love the five below store concept. However, when they have no carts, all but 2 self serve check out kiosks closed and then require a cashier to run said self check outs, it's frustrating. The cashier completing checkouts started at the PIN pad when prompted to enter my PIN - no attempt was made to turn her head. Nor did she make any attempt to MOVE so I could easily pay with my card. I had to reach around her. Unrelated - there will NEVER be a situation where I pay for a plastic bag that will inevitably tear before I get to the parking lot. Ultimately, the store has great value & selection, but their employees need to be better about respecting personal space. read more

Stopped here to search for a hardcover suitcase that they had for $25 but, of course, I should've bought it when I seen them because now they' are nowhere to be found!!! I was able to purchase travel size items that I needed for a trip so it wasn't a complete waste of time. I don't like having to ring myself up at these stores though, because it takes jobs away from humans which is horrible. WHAT A DIFFERENCE THIS TIME WITH "Zee" who went above and beyond to show social skills!!! Welcomed us - attended to us so happily while we shopped - and checked us out w such kind and helpful words to my granddaughters!! The customer service was poor, acting annoyed because i walked in 15 mins before close. that's 15 , and i took all of 7. Completely messy and unorganized as it is. unimpressed considering first time in there and i've been recommended to go there. So I'll definitely have to try another location. Aside from the customer service and how messy, the selection was good from what i seen. bought a few things for a 5 each only spent 20 for it so im happy with that ! Don't believe their website. Hours are correct on Yelp for the moment, but you can't trust their website. One of my biggest pet peeves is wasting time and I just wasted twenty minutes driving to and from a store that is closed earlier than their website says. Extremely DISRESPECTFUL. The male employee working harassed me and sat there following me around the store. Then had the audacity to try and accuse me of stealing. I told him I wanted to buy those 2 items and he threatened to call the police. I'm BEYOND fed up with being discriminated and harassed by prejudice cashier clerks! They act like they are getting a promotion or a gold medal to attack customers while they try to peaceful shop. It's entirely wrong of them to treat us shoppers as if we are ALL thief's. I pay for EVERYTHING of mine and constantly get followed around and disrespected because they want to be prejudice or stereotype customers based on how they look. For there was NO reason that man should have been watching and following me around the store! That's not their job!! That's what stores have cameras for! Customers shouldn't be made to feel some type of way while we shop! We should be able to shop in peace so shame on that employee who refused to give his name! All I know is don't go to this store or any store that wants to discriminate and be prejudice toward you because if they want to harass people I'll be sure to call and call and call whoever I need to until that person is reprimanded! I love this place!! A dollar store on steroids. The customer service here is and has always been awesome. We came in just before Christmas. I wanted some posters that I could not find in the bin. The employees took the time to help me look, checked the back and then the one we could fine they sold me the display. In a time when stores are understaffed and over worked. i saw a young girl cough and then be berated by an employee who accused the girl of smoking and the employee was no where near this girl and i saw zero smoking device. then the pregnant employee sent out her friend to attempt to fight the young girl (the woman was much older) and the older woman started calling her a "wh***" and a "sl**" and said she would lie for her friend and call corporate and tell them a different story. the poor girl said she suffered from as thw and didn't understand why this woman was insulting her or getting involved. the older woman then acted like she was going to run over the girl on her way out. as far as i could see, the manager didn't seem to do much. me and my friend and another woman witnessed all this. disgusting service. i did get the woman's license plate tho. it's cpa6ck read more
