The visit today for Halloween shopping was pretty good, there was a wide variety of Halloween items to gaze upon and I found one item to bring home with me. The only issue I have with the stores in general is the very small aisle room which leaves customers trying to shimmy around each other or dodging each other while also trying not to bump into anything fragile in the process. I was and am generally always happy with the prices as well, they're reasonable and much less than other stores. Must be pretty good because I find myself coming back here often enough. This place has so much SCHTUFF. So much that sometimes the aisles feel like they're closing in on you and the shelves and racks practically spilling over with products. I wouldn't be surprised if you fund yourself at the checkout with an item or two you don't recall putting in your shopping cart. Garden decor, patio, landscape, food, cocktail, cooking, serving, decor, gifts, greeting cards, gift wrap, bedding, bathroom, pet toys, treats, seasonal, OMG, like I said. They have so much. I absolutely love HomeGoods! But I especially love this HomeGoods. It is my absolute favorite location. I live very close to the Santan village location, but I always come out to this one. It's clean, organized and beautiful. They always have great merchandise and it's super easy to navigate. Whoever manages this location is a rockstar! They seriously need to train the other managers on how to run a successful organized store. Also, everybody is very friendly here. I work in Arcadia and have been to so many HomeGoods up there as well. Scottsdale all locations, Camelback Road, nothing compares to the Chandler location. Best HomeGoods ever. read more

Gave this Home Goods location another try and it was so good this time! I was able to find a few Eater Hello Kitty pieces, which are impossible to find in SoCal stores. I was so happy shopping here, I ended up with a cart half full of fun items, even got my pet a toy on sale for only $3. The store was pretty clean and organized and had a lot of springtime products. I had to get a lid for my frying pan since mine broke, and I tossed it by mistake...Silly me! ‍ I'm back to cooking during the winter Months, since I am not a fan of outside in the Winter. There was a stressful situation and his manager was handling it so poorly and he took the situation with more responsibility than his manager. I was a Home Goods today for the second time in a week for some more fun things. However, I bought 2 large boxes, One fit inside the other with a little room on the side and plenty of room on the top and a lid on top of both. I picked up a very pretty runner. I told the check out person that she could fit some the flat items in the box if she wanted. So she takes the runner and shoves it and I means shoves it in on the side. I said wait...that will fit perfectly flat on top. She pulls it out and throws it on the top still waded up. I was very nice to her, but she was mad because I dared to ask her to put the runner on top of the box inside the bigger box. There was more than enough room. I frequent this store, but give them some help bagging items. read more

3 stars strictly for the NASTY RUDE check out lady!! Didn't get her name but my receipt says CASHIER # 1081 on 2/21 The lady in front of me had a little boy and the cashier could not have been ruder. So when I got up there with my return she turned plain nasty. I tried to make a joke and happy talk but she didn't even smile or acknowledge it. She grabbed the credit card machine and whipped it around then told me the amount and when I asked if it had tap I did get an OF COURSE out of her but that was it! RUDE RUDE RUDE. Homegoods sells.... Home goods. It's a fun store to browse through. There will be so many things you never knew you needed until you started to shop here! From foods, bathroom decor, to pet supplies and bedding chances are you'll find something you really want to take home with you. Prices are always reasonable compared to normal retail cost so you can get some pretty good deals here. Be aware that some discount items, especially food, are naturally going to not be as good as the day they were first on the shelf. For instance, a package of macarons I bought was really cheap ($4 for 6) but since it was an older product the macarons were a bit dry and not very chewy at all due to loss of moisture. I haven't had any problems with any non-food items purchased though. read more

There are some great options for organizing one's home and a number of decorative items as well. There are also some unique items that one would be hard pressed to find elsewhere. Fun to come and browse. They seem to have a lot of cute things with cat themes. Notebooks, signs, towels, mugs. I love it!!! I have embraced my "cool cat lady" nature. I got some adorable cat dish towels here. I also splurged and got some cute mugs with cat stuff on the. I don't really need more mugs, but I could not resist! I was not impressed with this store in the least. I stopped off before my weekly visit to sprouts because there always seems to be a lot of foot traffic in and out so I wanted to see what the appeal was. It's a bunch of tacky and gaudy home wear that is made in China. It's stuff you see in a real estate stock photo. Also, not sure why but most of the bed and bathroom linens (towels, sheets, mats, etc.) were primarily white. Stains too easy. No thanks. read more

I was so happy to find Home goods in STV/QC area. If you have never gone to a home good store you must go and check it out. There prices are the best in town. Everything is on sale. I called the night before to ask about a return and the representative at the location stated I was able to return the item without the receipt as long as it was within 30 days . I get to home goods and I tell the lady I am doing a return and her tone was very off putting she advised me that " you didn't call this store because we don't do that and I don't know if your purchased the item from here " I usually never return items but because it found a better office chair at staples I no longer needed it. The representative at the store could of handled the situation better. I will no longer be coming back to this location because of how I was treated. read more

This place is evil.. I could literally walk in and not come out until 2 hours later.. and several dollars lighter (hey, at least I didn't say several hundred dollars lighter). I say this because they have SO MUCH home/kitchen decorating/tools stuff here you get swallowed or engulfed in all the stuff they have in stock! It's esentially a TJMaxx for the house/kitchen but with lots of unique or one-off decoratives. I have bought a lot of my house decoratives/kitchen gadgets and gifts at this place - you can't beat their prices AND the fact that they have tons of name-brand, high-quality products (Kitchen stuff mostly). I have gone here some times just to window shop or to paruse or get ideas for my next home decorating project. I love this store! Just purchased 2 exact vases that were tagged at different prices and was charged the higher price for both items. I understand that the policy allows the managers to change the prices but it seems that in good faith to customers that they should honor whatever was tagged even if it is incorrect. Great prices and huge selection of dog toys, which is why I decided to shop here to load up on toys to donate to animal care & Control. I purchased nearly $150 worth of donations. While checking out the cashier decided to share her opinion about how terrible pit bulls are & shouldn't be trusted around kids. It was incredibly offensive! I did not ask for her opinion and am very reluctant to support a company who allows their cashiers to spread false information about the breed i am trying to help! I told her I owned one but she shrugged it off and continued to tell me about how many attacks she's heard of. It was uncalled for & terrible customer service. I can not express what a bitter taste this left me with. I am so upset and disappointed by this interaction. I had heard great things about Homegoods but I was a little disappointed after finally checking them out a couple weeks ago. They do have a wide variety of items available in the store but it was very overwhelming to shop there because it was just too much stuff crammed into the aisles. The furniture was very poor quality which I guess is ok since they only had like accent pieces that don't need to carry a big load but I just wasn't happy with anything I saw. I was more impressed with the options for the kitchen and bath but after looking at the prices I think that Bed Bath and Beyond can beat them in most cases if you use a coupon. And that is a much more pleasant shopping experience. I don't think I would shop at Homegoods again unless I was looking for something very specific and I didn't care about brand or quality. read more

I always make a point of going to this store whenever I have errands to run. Last week I found just what I was looking for. A dresser that I wanted to use as a TV stand. I absolutely loved it. Went home without buying it and the next morning I called and put a hold on it. (They won't let you pay for it over the phone). I needed to find someone with a truck to transport it, so I made a special trip to the store, paid for it, signed the form they gave me and told them I would be there to get it on Saturday. Well, when I went to get it, they sold it on Friday night. Said the person took the sold sign off of it and the clerk made up a special ticket and SOLD it. They obviously made me sign the paper, they kept the original and I had the copy, but what good did it do? Obviously they have no protocol when it comes to selling furniture. I was told sorry, and I need you CC # to refund your money. She did make some sort of effort to find another one, however, I was NOT going to ask the guy that offered to pick it up for me, to drive all over Arizona. I will be closing my TJ Maxx card and I will not be doing business with HG no matter how much I like the store. Meanwhile, don't buy any furniture there, unless it will fit in the vehicle your driving at that time. Chances are you won't get it otherwise. Wanted to give you an update. After the above happened, I decided to contact the DM for this store. It was important to me that this not happen to anyone else, therefore their protocol HAD to change. I received a phone call from him within a couple of days. He had contacted the manager prior to calling me, so he already knew what had happened. Much to my surprise, he had searched around to find another one. He had it picked up, and he and another HG employee delivered it right to my home! Kudos to Michael, the DM for getting the situation handled and making me a very happy customer. That company has an employee that is one in a million. read more

I love this store for everything in my home. The store, for the most part, is neat and well organized. The selection changes all the time and I like this because each time it's like visiting a new store! The employees are super friendly and know their stock well. Everything you could ever possibly want for your home is located in this store. Dishes, gadgets, unique food items, furniture, nicknacks, rugs, lamps, towels, bedspreads, sheets, children's toys and children's furniture are just some of the items they offer! They also have a very nice pet section of beds, food and toys! Their candle selection is full of name brand candles for almost half the price of normal candles! Some of their other items are a priced a little high for what is supposed to be a discount store but I try to over look this on those items because there are so many other bargains to find! read more
