Recently I was looking for small bike for my grandson. There were two that were marked as clearance…read moreat 50.00 and 70.00 dollars . I asked an employee to check to see if the price was correct. It was showing a much higher price . We took the 50.00 bike to return desk to see if they could sell it to me for price showing where the bike was in the rack .I was told that they did not have the authority to do so, that manager would make that determination. I asked if I could speak with him. The desk called for him to talk with me. About 15 minutes later a person walked up . His personal appearance lead me to believe he was a customer not the manager. I asked him if I could buy the bike for the price that was listed . In no certain terms was he willing try to work with me . I went home and contacted Godfrey Walmart and was able to get a bike shipped to me that slightly cheaper for $50.00.Very bad experience !!!

The customer service was top notch. The shelves were always well stocked. My local Walmart now is referred to as "the out of stock store." If you have a list you are guaranteed to leave with only 2/3 of the things on that list as my current Walmart WILL be out of stock. My local Walmart must have a beacon atop of it that calls out to all those crazy "people of Walmart" to go there. We have more than our share of these people. We may have 2-3 lanes open. All the serve yourself checkouts are open. Those checkouts are backed up because no one wants to wait in the couple other services lanes actually open. Many of the staff are rude or cranky. Who could blame them? Working in those conditions. Enjoy your good Walmart because they're not all that way. We quit going except when we feel we have no choice....maybe once every couple months.

Not only is he one…read moreof the most charasmatic people I've ever met, but he is also the most respectful employee that Walmart has to offer. I've seen Mike sweeping the entryway, I've seen Mike with a crowd of people, all of them just stopping to say hello, but Mike is always so approachable. I saw my grandpa last Friday and this Monday. He talked about Mike both days even though he probably only saw Mike once last week. He is seriously a highlight of my grandpa's week whenever he is at work. He's an old retired farmer who is battling cancer (We find out Monday if all of his treatments have worked) and he doesn't get out much these days, so having a great 'people-person' like Mike to greet my grandpa and to carry on a conversation with him is truly a blessing. From what my grandpa told me, Wal-Mart cut his hours and I think that is such a damn shame. Wal-Mart you need to start appreciating certain employee's like you appreciate these 5 star ratings....he is the only reason you are getting this from me. I can go on and on but I want to keep this positive. But anyways, thanks again Mike, if you ever read this...you are someone that a lot of people look forward to encountering. My goal was to get something before the winter because my summer purse is fabric and leads to drenched contents during the rainy season. The features that were a must for my new purse were that it needed to be leather/water proof. The main compartment needed to have a zipper closure. I hoped to find a purse that has a full size flat pocket on the backside of the purse for my handicap placard and for my small file of half fold papers. The space of the main compartment needed to be roomy enough for the contents I always carry; double pack epipen, purse calendar, wallet, checkbook, mini first aid kit, pens, notepad, cell phone, keys.i hoped that I could find a satchel style that had a double handle that I could carry in my hands or hike up on my shoulder. My husband realized several weekends ago that I was shopping online for a purse. He steered me to JCPenney.com because they were having a sale that went through that Sunday. What could be better than buy one,get the second one free. After spending the day looking at pictures and reading descriptions I found two purses to order. I kept my fingers crossed until they arrived that they were going to be right but knew JCPenney is good about accepting returns if they were totally wrong. I found a scarf I liked on display but there was no price tag on it. I found the associate working…read morethat department and asked her to check it for me. there was no UPC code on it and she told me I'd have to take it to the check out so they could look it up. So I had to be the one standing in line waiting to get a price on this scarf. As i was standing there waiting, it occurred to me that SHE should have been the one waiting for a price...not me. I don't work there!!! so with that, i put the scarf back and they can shove it where the sun don't shine. VERY poor customer service!! Never again. why should i have to get the price??? are they not trying to sell their crap? (Of course, I looked all through the department and didn't see another scarf like it)
