Even Captain Marvel's shit has superpowers.

4/19/19 This place may be great for young kids, but today this store had nothing I wanted. I did see a Captain Marvel post with emoji's smiling shit right next to her. First thoughts that come to mind...she's the shit. Aside from this, nothing else got my interest. Baltimore Ravens merchandise would have been nice, but all I saw were Pittsburgh Steelers merchandise...no thank you. Oh, someone smell very bad in the store or someone farted. I was forced to make a quick retreat.

This is THE place for inexpensive nick-nacks that make our kids happy. I can't find anything bad to say about them because just like their name implies, everything is 5 dollars or cheaper. We found some great beach toys for the boys at Five Below and also picked up some great Thomas the Tank Engine kites for $2! They have everything you can imagine including: - Balls - Candy - Drinks (water or soda pop) - Movies - Workout equipment - a TON of different toys Now the stuff here isn't high end stuff, but surprisingly its also not cheaply made. I have no idea how they can sell their products so cheaply yet still stay in business. Honestly, I don't care so long as I can leave that store with a football, some bubble gum, a pull up bar and a wiffle ball set for under $15. Oh yeah, call me Mr. John D. Rockefeller!! Plus anyplace that makes me a hero to my kids while keeping the cash-o-la in my wallet is a-okay in my book (the Book of Antonio). :-)

Clean and organized store. I love the addition of the self-checkout! Even still, the staff was helpful and friendly.

I ordered two items for my son for Christmas, but because he's three, it didn't really matter if he…read moregot them by Xmas. Unfortunately the last ordered I'd placed with them was for my niece who lives in Minnesota (we're in CA), and inadvertently had the order shipped to MN. I caught it as soon as I had received the confirmation and called them within 3 minutes (I know this because their rep said, "Wow, you submitted this order 3 minutes ago and you're already calling us?!), to rectify the situation. The guy on the first call said it wouldn't be a problem and flagged my account or something. So I called the next day to confirm and the second person didn't have a record of any "flag" but said she'd do it and it wouldn't be a problem. Another day goes by and I get an email confirmation that my items have shipped and are going (wait for it)... to Minnesota! So I call again and explain and after being on hold on and off for over a half an hour and not being able to speak to a supervisor ("The supervisors are taking care of important matters" I was told), I was told a supervisor would call UPS to stop my delivery and they'd call me back. After 8 hours of not hearing, I call back and NO ONE knows what I"m talking about, including the supervisor I again couldn't speak to but whose messaged was relayed by the person on the phone. This is the same person who told me it was my fault for putting the wrong address. I was just left a message from the supervisor that went exactly like this: "Mr. X this is Amy from Back to Basic Toys, unfortunately we're not able to change the address on your package. Have a great holiday" I wish I was kidding. Needless to say I'll be reversing the charges with my credit card company and doing my best to spread this review to as many sites as possible. Unfortunately what is posted on the internet is true, the customer service sucks, they don't care about the customer, and don't have the first clue what customer service is. This is why Amazon is taking over the world. At least they stand behind their products and procedures.

Unbelievably Fast and Easy online purchase of iPad Mini A17 Pro (2024) for same price as Apple,…read moreAmazon and Best Buy without the hassle! I received notification the iPad was ready for pickup well within the 2 hour window and found the pick-up to be fast and efficient. The iPad was charged, all parts present and in pristine condition. Honestly, I was surprised when Google's AI suggested this device could be located nearby at Target Reston. Still - I tried Apple, Amazon and Best Buy first - because I think of them as more reliable (?). What a waste of time - Apple's website said there was availability but I needed to go in or call first to purchase. Amazon had too many confusing listings and days to wait for delivery. Best Buy no stock nearby. Two days later I am still feeling so grateful and amazed at the smooth purchase I felt I needed to write a review of a job well-done.

Three people standing to watch the one person try to settle this customer - not one decided to open a register. No resolution. Finally frustrated enough to try another line. All full and slow. After 35 minutes, I drop my stuff and leave. I try to leave this on the Target website feedback but they only give you a limited amount of characters. I gave up on that too!

This was our first visit to a Home Goods store. We needed to buy new lamps for our bedroom…read morenightstand. As we were discussing where we should start looking, Home Goods came up in conversation. Thus, we agreed that since there was one in Herndon, that is where we'll start. Home Goods is one of those places that has an ever-changing selection of items. In other words, you may see an item you like but don't buy it then and there, it may not be there when you return. Upon entering the store, we looked around to get our bearings. I saw a sign for furniture and told my husband that lighting would probably be nearby. That turned out to be correct. They had about three or four aisles of lamps. Much to our surprise, we saw two matching lamps that we both liked. Since we had never shopped here before, I looked for a salesperson to ask how it all worked. Do we take the lamps to the register...or what? She followed me back to the lamps and unplugged them, then put them in our cart. Oh...okay. Now we know, if there's a next time. The cashier was friendly and efficient. So far, we're happy with the new lamps, and we were pleased with the price. We'll have to take the time to explore the whole store to see what else is available.
