I had no idea this place existed in Herndon until after I decided to pick up my AwesomeCon badge. It's a tiny place but has a lot of anime-related stuff on the first floor and Warhammer, Gundam, Pokémon cards on the second floor. I think the first floor is designed for girls and the second floor for guys. You can also buy paint for your Warhammer figures here. The staff on both floors were friendly and helpful, and easy to talk to. The prices are neither expensive nor cheap. It's on par with other shops in the DMV. The place is kind of small, and the stuff they have is limited. However, I don't think I should dock one star for that, given it's a small business. Met them at the Hypefoodies Festival and they were so cordial and helpful that I purchased my first Labubu from them! I started following their IG (@senpaiscornerca) for updates on releases and now I've patronized them so much that they know/recognize me! The customer service is superb and their pricing is not crazy like some other retailers post, esp for labubus. I now owne smiskis, labubus, and other items that I've grown an interest for since discovering this shop! I drive nearly an hour just to shop there and I'm always happy when it's time to head back home! I get so many questions about my labubu and I immediately tell people where I got them from and share their IG. They are ao worth the drive to visit! They have game nights, tons of releases, and so many other things to fancy this realm of collection items! I can't wait to bring my niece and nephew when they visit bc they are huge anime fans! I even got their first labubus from here! The store has upstairs and downstairs but it is a tight squeeze on the first floor. That's no problem bc the type of crowd that they attract is always friendly and never rude. Parking is on the street in the front and some more in the back. This will now be my only go-to spot for all of my collections! read more

I absolutely love coming here -- it's honestly one of my favorite spots! Every time they host an event, it's super organized and well put together, which makes the whole experience even better. I mainly visit for the Sonny Angels (they're my favorite!), and while I do wish they could keep them in stock more often, I understand how popular they are -- everyone loves them just as much as I do! What really keeps me coming back, though, is the customer service. The staff is always so kind and welcoming. They greet me every time I walk through the door, and it really creates such a warm and happy vibe. You can tell they care about their customers and love what they do. Senpai's corner has so many cute items on two floors, also attached to a vape shop. Super convenient for those in Herndon looking for kawaii items, blind boxes, manga or collectibles. My friends and I stopped by just to look at cute stuff and maybe some stationary, and we were pleasantly surprised at the variety of items that there was. Sanrio, Miffy, Pokemon, Smiski, One Piece, and a lot of otaku + weeb offerings too! They have anime playing on the screens and will also note for others to follow their social media for certain blind box drops such as Labubu and Smiskis. The staff were super nice and helpful, and they even held the stickers up front for me while I shopped since I was worried I would drop them. Stickers here (individual ones) are well priced at $1 each. There's also fairly good market values for their trading cards, manga and more. This place is tucked inside the heart of Old Town Herndon and has a ton of cute Sanrio/San-X stuff along with other collectible figurines and anime goods. I could see the appeal of having a brick and mortar anime goods themed shop, but I could also find a lot of these items online and at better prices. The location could be a little better, but who knows? Maybe more businesses and boba places will pop up nearby and bring in even more customers. It's a very tiny shop with minimal walking space and the parking isn't in a big lot, so you will have to find spots on the street (typical old town parking style). I did love the fact that I could pick up my Awesome Con pass here easily, though so that was a huge plus. The only reason I docked another star off was because the customer service was a bit meh. Employee seemed like they had 0 interest in being there at all. I get it. I've worked in so many retail and service jobs, but I never let that make me give anyone subpar, grumpy face, 0 enthusiasm service anywhere even if I hated the job. Theyre super limited in stock and I understand because the company doesn't send them much shipment but they're priced nearly at retail value which I'm happy about. One memorable experience was the Sonny Angel's meetup where they had vendors who sold/traded their Sonny Angels. I hope they host another one next year! read more

Their selection is nicely curated, and I've always found fun blind boxes there. Prices are pretty standard for this sort of store, and actually I've found better prices on Rolife miniatures here than other carriers. The family/staff are so friendly and are very open about their stocks regarding Sonny Angels and Smiskis which are highly sought out. Any regular knows to arrive within 30 minutes before drop because there is ALWAYS a line outside of the store. While I myself have not been able to get there that early for a SA drop, I've arrived on the time and have gotten my SA. They also engage with their community and host trading events which shows how much they value their customers/regulars! Highly recommend coming here. My last few visits here, I've been on the hunt for Sonny Angels and Sanrio products which they always have in stock. The workers are very sweet and are fun to chat with, letting us know what will be back in stock and what they plan to carry. I prefer them over Lil Thingamajigs because of their pricing and overall the items they have in store. Been a customer since 2022 when I got my first Sonny Angel during the Herndon festival, always loved this neighborhood shop their Sonny Angel and smiski selection is amazing and they're almost always in stock when I go but they unfortunately did sell us a fake Funko pop one time but it's a common fake and it unfortunately happens but the store doesn't seem to specialize in Funko pops so that may be a simple error there. love to see their involvement with local artists but believe they should stop selling stole fan artwork in their shop and stick to official artwork because it doesn't really look nice to an anime community centered around art and artist. See big things for this shop and it'll definitely become a go to spot for the dmv!! read more

A 1/6 scale figure from to love ru and i had driven all that way to see a store like that so I just wanted to get a figure in my price range. So I bought what i thought was a steal. THIS GUY SOLD ME A BOOTLEG, HAPPILY Other authentic goods as far as I could tell but be careful, one star because you're a scumbag if you sell bootlegs without disclosing that they are.
