Inventory 10/10. I can find so many beautiful cards, presents, holiday items and gift bags with matching tissue paper, so gorgeous. The service today is lacking. I can do without being greeted upon entry. I am also okay if no one offers any help as I am wandering the store. I never went to a Hallmark store much but since walking into Debby's Hallmark I have been a regular customer! Every time you go there you are greeted with a smile and someone saying "Welcome"! All the associates seem to know all about their products. You never have to wonder if you will get someone to help you because they always have enough help! They have a big unveiling of their Hallmark and Disney ornaments this Friday, July 11th. People buy a lot of of these ornaments. They are in demand! You need to pre order to make sure you will get the ones you want for Christmas. As Hallmark says "Christmas in July". The store is always exceptionally clean. You see the Associates cleaning shelves and ornaments or products in the store. They have Disney bags, marvel ornaments, Snoopy items, Baby books and animals, Wedding gifts, Dishes and jams, clothing, hats, gloves, spa items, cards for every occasion, and Seasonal Gifts of all kinds. Their range of candles with water flowing as you turn on the lighted flicker of a flame are beautiful and have a lot of different colors and styles. This store also has Enesco figures as well as Lladro women figurines. To top it off they have many Star Wars items. This stores items are all authentic. Something else wonderful about this store is they wrap your gifts for you. Also the entire crew really love the owner whose name is Debby. Hence the name of Debby's Hallmark. It feels like you walk into a warm family when you shop there. When employees love their boss you know that boss treats them well. Lastly they have many Christian items there . I have bought my grand daughter a chicken there that lays eggs, stuffed animals,books, puzzles, toys for baby. They have many things for your garden care as well. Many more items but you have to come see for yourself because there is too much here to say it all. Beware, once you come here, you'll become a regular customer. read more

I generally love this place but... I was shopping with a friend, who brings me along pretty regularly. Today, our counter help was a young person who misinformed us and would NOT back down, and worst of all, refused to apologize or consult about how to optimize the purchase. This level of injustice is NOT effective customer service. Better training might help. read more

4/23/2025: I love that there is still a brick and mortar Hallmark somewhere "nearby". All stores in the Antelope Valley and San Fernando Valley have been shuttered which is crazy to me, but thank goodness this one Santa Clarita location is holding on! Note to Hallmark - if this closes and I'm left with only Bakersfield or LaCrescenta, I won't buy your brand anymore. If I have to go online or travel, I'll go out of my way to NOT reward the bad behavior. But back to Debbie's. Upon walking g in, you're always greeted warmly. The store is always well organized and clean. It's nice to have selections of cards in an actual card shop! They also carry cute gifts and clothing for a reasonable price, too. This will be my go-to for cards and Knick knacks for as long as they're around. Hang in there, ladies! read more

It's not just a store of cards and gift wrapping, it's also a little boutique. If you're a Disney fan they have a bunch of merch in here, as well as birthdays, weddings and every other celebration you can think of. I came in here with my mom cause she wanted to grab some cards for some occasions coming up. Also if you're looking for milestones (age wise) this is the place to find cards and gifts for that special someone to brighten up their birthday! I've also been trying to find a solar angel for my grandmas grave and to my surprise I found one. She comes in purple and blue as well (flowers) but I got the pink since her favorite color was red. Honestly out of all the places I look I didn't think to come here to find it and I did, so if you're on the hunt for something stop at this hallmark store. read more

Calling this location to get any kind of answer is disappointing.. I tried to call and ask to see if a certain item is in stock and the lady on the phone didn't even try to help & was just plain rude... she gave me no answer and just said "im not close by to check you should just drive out here" which defeats the purpose of calling and saving the drive since it's not a close store. Overall not a pleasant phone call Poor customer service. read more

Tonight is the July launch of the new ornaments. As a member of the keepsake ornament club I was supposed to be able to pick up the ornaments on my wish list early today. I called Hallmark this morning only to find out my store permanently closed and neither the store nor corporation contacted me. Their only solution was to give my wish list to another store in 48 hours. Seriously? 2 days AFTER the sale tonight? The store they were going to send my list to was Debbie's Hallmark, 11 miles away. I called Debbie's and told them what happened. They were very accommodating and said they'd pull whatever they had and put me on a list for whatever hasn't been delivered to their store yet. I got a call within an hour that they were ready. THAT is customer service! I'm not happy about the extra distance , but they are very accommodating and friendly. read more

Glad I called before going to inquire about their gift wrapping services. I asked if they were able to do it since it's a bigger box and the lady on the phone said they will be able to accomodate me but it will be a little wait - I did not mind at all. When I walked in with my gift, I was almost turned away. The older lady in the counter said they won't be able to do it because of the size and they had an event but as soon as I told them I called in advance, she took my gift to the back and I think she asked her boss. I was happy with the result and glad that they were able to wrap the gift. It was a cute wrapper too & ribbon and I only paid $10 for it. I just hope that they had a sticker to write "To" and "From" on the gift wrapper. -1 star because I feel like they need better communication/consistency. If the other lady on the counter had asked before turning me away immediately, it would've helped have a better experience. Still grateful they were able to wrap my gift for me though for my best friend's baby shower. read more

Nice location but staff is not very friendly. Came in looking for a specific item and instead of suggesting to check out other stores or online I was simply told I probably wouldn't find what I was looking for. True behold I found more than one of the items i needed at a simi valley location on the same day. Rude staff. My 2-year-old ended up taking something a part at the store. I didn't think it was broken but a staff member caught an attitude and said that it was broken and proceeded to tell me that my TWO-YEAR-OLD was not very "respectful". The issue was not if he broke it or not because I would of paid for it but her reaction to the whole thing was shameful towards a toddler. And allegedly she's a mother herself but decided to react the way she did. Now that I'm reading that this store has issues with being polite with customers, I'm no longer surprised by her behavior. read more

I came to this Hallmark shop because the Hallmark in the mall was incredibly rude to me and my Mom. So I drive the 12 miles from Castaic to Canyon Country to do some shopping and I am glad I did. The staff were awesome. Very kind. Welcomed us. Asked if we needed help. I was able to find some great Christmas gifts, cards and stocking stuffers. They have an amazing assortment of gifts for a wide range of people. The best part was the people. Very customer focused. I joined their rewards program. Didn't even know they had one. All these years visiting the sterile DMV like mall location and they never mentioned a customer reward program. Thank you to the Canyon County location for looking after their customers. I am very disappointed in the way I was treated in the store. Last week I went in and they had me sign up for crown rewards. This week I was sent an offer for $5 off a $10 purchase. Today they would not accept it. They were rude. I don't expect the store to be in business much longer. The worst part is, they would not even try the coupon. They just said we don't think we are supposed to take it so they didn't. Terrible business practice, no wonder these shops keep closing. read more

Seriously when I read the other reviews I'm starting to take it personal every time I go in. I never get good service when I'm in this store. Guess it's just me. My husband always refers to this Hallmark as the " one with the ladies who have a stick up their A$&." We really try to not come here as service always is bad for us but sometimes it's convenient. We went in a couple nights ago to get a card and gift bags. As we started to walk in one of the employees was just standing at the door staring out into space and as soon as she saw us come in she turned around and started vacuuming and didn't even greet us. Whatever I need to get what I need to get . The entire time we were in there not one person approached us. Finally I got what I needed and headed to the cashier. When I approaches the register two ladies behind the register started a conversation while I was waiting to be rung up. Finally the cashier just looked at me and didn't say anything. Finally I said "hello " and she looked at me like I was crazy. Seriously people it's a hallmark ! I work customer service too and I would never treat a guest like this let alone not acknowledge them. That's why I would rather drive to Topanga and go to papyrus cards. Hallmarks customer service has really gone down hill, that or people are just used to crappy service . Pretty sad. read more

first off, Gold Crowne stores are a dying breed. So many have gone out of business. But on to my visit. It was wonderful. The ladies there are so sweet and a wonderful young man who was very sweet. Gold Crownes are the only way to get Hallmark ornaments of which I am addicted. They are m drug of choice LOL. They have tons of other great collectibles and cards. I will be going back again and again. As to prices, you pay for quality. If you want trash go to walmart. This is a great store that I so hope continues to thrive. read more

The mark up here is ridiculous! I bought two signs at the hallmark store in granary square earlier today for $9.95 each. I wanted more and the nice lady there called Debbie's to see if they had any of the same sign in stock. She said they're Hallmark brand items, not specialty items so they should. They did an put them on hold for me...except at Debbie's they were $14.95 each!! Yes, I paid it because I want them for Christmas gifts. This is by far the best Hallmark store I have ever been in. Whenever I need to buy a gift, this is the place I go. I am never disappointed. They have the most unique items, and even clothing! People often ask me where I got my blouse, t-shirt, jewelry or blinged-out flip-flops and are surprised when I say at a Hallmark store! And don't even get me started talking about the things they have at Christmas time! I do most of my holiday shopping here. And the customer service is beyond fabulous. These ladies are so helpful. One (Maggie) spent a lot of time helping me design my wedding invitations and thank you cards. I noticed some odd behavior with the two older women working in the store as well. The shorter one is usually pretty nice and helpful when I go in. Her partner, the taller older lady, I believe is a little 'crae crae'. I've seen her behave poorly with customers. I walked up to the counter once and other people were behind me. This woman literally turned her back to us and mouthed something to her partner; beyond.....rude! I proceeded to ask my question and then started walking around the store and this lady starts cackling and laughing so loud. I looked to see what she was laughing about and she was showing the other woman something on her cell phone. I thought that it was so strange that she would act like that with customers in the store. I refuse to take her crazy behavior personally. I love the store; buy almost all my gifts in there for friends. I have no idea why this woman acts as she does; it could be soooo many things.
