How Low Can you Go ?!!! How low can you go? ! $1.00 apparently. I was doing some bargain hunting while on my lunch break and needed Freeman peel off face masks. They have such a unique selection of make up and beauty items, I thought I'd give it a try. I found a gift set including the mask brush for $5.00. I added a pair of Aloe infused socks for $2.00 and walaa! A great gift at $7.00 for the narcissist on your Christmas list. This location is my fav. They don't sell junk here. They sell good quality. Good selection of art supplies, pet items, beauty and KNICK KNACKS. I'm not a fan of the toy department. I feel they can do better with the variety. I scored some 3.00 scented markers for my mini me. I was treated so rudely in front of my daughter while the associate all but took my products from my hand and rang them up despite my requests not to do that as my 5 year old daughter loves to rings things up herself. This person should be ashamed of themselves. Not only were they rude, dismissive and disrespectful, they had the nerve to order me to take my receipt. I will never ever go to this or any other Five Below again. Also this store is a mess. read more

Really nice for school supplies, parties, and rush gifts. I really like all the products, but there are a lot of boxes in the aisles making it difficult and frustrating to push the tiny carts through. Even when the workers see you trying to push a cart down the aisle they do not bother moving the boxes or even acknowledging the customer to say hi. A bit more organization would make the shopping experience a lot better! read more

Never shopped at Five Below until l moved to Long Island and it leaves me asking myself WHY?? Why didn't I start earlier? It's basically a 99 cents store with better quality merchandise. I particularly like it because each store seems to be laid out exactly the same way, which makes my shopping experience easier. Moreover, they sell toys and craft projects for children at great prices. I picked up a few items for my toddler for $5 each and it kept her busy for ... a day! Doesn't sound like a whole lot but all parents would know how difficult it is to keep a young one occupied for 24 hours. This store is very kid centered but you can also find great deals on adult items too. I think one of the best purchases you can make here is their large selection of phone and tablet cases. From samsung to iphone they have a lot of options. They have some very sturdy cases that would cost you a fortune at the apple store or a kiosk in the mall. They have cute cases as well and even pop sockets! For $5 you can get a case very similar to an otterbox that is dual soft and hard so it is very protective. I highly recommend coming here for electronic case wear. Their candy inventory seems infinite, they have almost everything! Good deals on that for sure, so taking the kids here for a treat would be cheap. In the summertime they had so many pool floaties! $5 each so keep in mind with that price you will not be getting a large swan but still adorable floaties that are smaller in size. Read the sizing on the box to know the sizes before you buy. But still, a great price for these cute and creative pool accessories. I've seen a Popsicle, watermelon, unicorn, kiwi, flamingo, pizza, siracha bottle, taco and more! Pool floats can cost upwards of $30, here you can buy multiple creative ones without breaking the bank. I find that with each holiday they are stocked up with decorations for parties and dress up activities. Christmas decorations and santa hats can be found here, st patricks day accessories, Easter crafts, baskets and more. Pricing and inventory in this store is great. The line can be long at times with only one or two registers open. That is my one complaint. Sometimes I wish for more staff to be working so lines won't be as long. Otherwise this store is relatively clean and the workers are helpful. I recommend coming here for for children's gifts, last minute gifts, and party supplies. I like the "Five Below" for the products that they seem to specialize in... Games, make-up, electronic accessories (mostly phone), candy, books, and lots of knick-knacks. It's smaller than the dollar store and you must remember that the store is called five below because all of their items are $5.00 or less. It does seem however that most of their products, other then candy are either 3 or 5 dollars. They are much smaller than the dollar tree (or just plain dollar store) so you will not find the usual glassware, cleaning supplies and greeting cards there like they have at Dollar Tree. I think everyone should give them a shot since you may wind up saving a few dollars on regularly used products. The store is very bright and usually well kept. The holiday season has a way of turning these types of stores into mini disaster areas. With the limited number of people on the floor cleanups usually take a while. read more

I LOVE THIS STORE. That being said i spent way too much time and money here on shit i dont' need. I got 78 Gel Point pens cause why not? and sneakers and aqua shoes and shorts and earrings and ankle bracelet and head bandanas. BUT its really obnoxious how you are followed around like you are a thief. They aren't even sly about it these 5 different people. All dressed like normal kept circling me the entire time i was there. I wasn't planning on stealing shit and i had my wagon with me. It made me super uncomfortable and i wound up staring at most of them till they bugged off. Great discount store for "upscale" 99 cent type products. Today was the grand opening here at Westbury, they have a little of everything, chips, make up, baseball paraphernalia, books and magazines and so forth. When I saw the mini lava lamps for sale, I thought this place mirrors a little like "Spencer's" Check it out, there is definitely something for everyone at this store. read more

I absolutely love Five Below and I am so glad they have one in this area. It's the perfect place for when you need something but are limited on what you can spend on it. It's also a great place to go for buying gifts. They've got nice board games, dvds, blu-rays, posters, make up, t-shirts, books, sports merchandise, small home furnishings, computer and cell phone accessories, and lots of other knick knacks. The quality isn't questionable unlike dollar and 99 cent stores, even though everything in this store is 5 dollars or less. It isn't the biggest store so try to be respectful of other shoppers to not cause stress while shopping. Most times i've gone the staff have kept it pretty tidy and were helpful answering questions. If you need to return something they only do exchanges or store credit. read more

A student in one of the classes I taught first introduced me to their online website and informed me that there was a store that actually existed. So on my way to a local eatery in the neighborhood I spotted this place and was super excited to go in. It's a really great store. Though I do not frequent dollar stores or discount stores often, it's pretty good for what they offer. I was surprised at all the great endless products they had. Five and Below sells a lot of crap, but they also sell a lot of cool stuff for $5 and below too! I always stop in for markers, crayons, etc at the beginning of the school year. They sell holiday decor and gifts perfect for children. I love the books, puzzles, board games, and whatnot for my friends ' kids. I went for earphones for a present for my best friend's son and walked out with 5 pound weights and a gigantic Ferrero Rocher as a small token of appreciation for someone at work. Good location and the store is neat & clean . Not everything here is a bargain though . They have nail polish remover for $5 I've seen cheaper elsewhere and some items are a bit chintzy .Also some of the snack items and candy really aren't a bargain either . Last winter I purchased some fleece pj pants and slippers that fell apart . I thought they were cute but I wouldn't purchase anything like that again. I still like this store though and it's fun to browse through . The phone cases , accessories and chargers are decent . Lots of cute items for young girls . Also the one time I called ahead to see if they had an item in stock my little one wanted they picked up the phone and were helpful . I was always curious about what they sold at Five Below so I decided to stop in since I was in the area. It's basically a slight step up from what you would expect to find at a dollar store. I think their stock is most appealing to a younger crowd. They sell a lot of toys, candy, novelty items, etc. They have some cosmetics and such but I prefer high end brands when it comes to beauty and skincare. If you are looking for party supplies, stocking stuffers, or small gifts on a low budget for a child then Five Below is a good place to check. While I was here I purchased some Hello Kitty items because I have a friend thats obsessed with Hello Kitty and her birthday is coming up. I also noticed they have some decent soccer balls for $5 so I will probably come back and pick one up for my son in spring assuming they are still in stock. He beats them up so bad no matter how good the quality or brand so I buy him a new one every year. I can also imagine this store is a surefire hot spot around Halloween. Overall the store is cool but I wish there were some more household items and stock aimed more towards an adult crowd. read more

What a bad experience. I went to the Westchase /11043 Westheimer- 77042 -location in Houston Tx. I go up to the counter to buy my item. Two girls were behind the counter. One was sitting down doing nothing but making idol conversation with the other girl.. The other was counting merchandize. Nether looked too happy to see me walk up. The girl that rings me up tells me ( because I'm paying with cash , and they have no change, and She said NONE) that they will have to round it off to the nearest dollar. O.K. So my total was $6.01. I gave her a $20.00. She gives me back $13.00. That's not rounding it off. Rounding it off would be $6.00. Giving me back me $14.00. When I told her this she tells me " I told you we were going to have to round it off". I told her that rounding it off to the nearest dollar would make it $6.00. She tells me but that would make my cash drawer short a penny. So instead of having her cash drawer short a penny they are going to over charge me 99 cents? Is this a company policy? I asked to speak to a manager. The Manager comes up from the back. (Who looked like she just woke up from a nap) Tells me the same thing. So I got my money back and gave the back the item . Lost sale. Never going back. This is very bad business. read more

Love this store!!! First off, it's a great place for candy. Lots of choices of old & new & odd candy at that. We also love that you can buy art projects for the fun of it. Buying the rock painting kit was a blast! Even the Hello Kitty paint posters were fun! Cards, gifts, party supplies...yup. And check out the store during the holidays to see what little knick knacks you can buy. I stumbled across the big bunny peeps at Easter....love my peeps!!! And they had a great selection of baskets. I never knew what this store was and finally stopped in recently. I was really surprised at the awesome bargains they have and the quality products they carry compared to a dollar store. It's a great place for inexpensive party supplies, gift supplies, quality greeting cards (American Greetings), candy, phone cases, toys, books, beauty products, etc. They carry an array of seasonal items. Right now for summer they have brand name full-sized sunblock, beach towels, sandals, straw hats, and beach bags, all at $5 or less! They even have some clothing and shoes. This is also a great place to look for small gifts, stocking stuffers, and college dorm items. As someone else stated, the store is definitely geared towards a younger market. The Manager at this store is terrible and refuses to make the customer happy nor could she understand the concept of the math of 3 for 5 socks (which were sold for $2 separately) which she only had 2 of and would not give the discount on the socks even when another employee proposed a compromise for the socks by swapping out the sock that the store did not have in stock for another one. The employees are friendly and at other Five Below's I have not had a problem. Will not recommend nor go back to this particular Five Below again. Hopefully they improve their management at this store. read more

I love a good budget friendly experience. Five below has a lot of gadgets and gifts for under 5 dollars, it's a couple of steps up from your basic dollar store. I love getting phone cases here for only 5 dollars, hey it beats waiting to get your order from eBay or Amazon. I come here most around Christmas time to do some Christmas shopping for the young ones in my family, every time me and my daughter walk in she wants everything and I basically buy it for her (spoiled brat lol). The new craze that children love are shopkins which are these micro figures that look like grocery foods and they have a whole section here dedicated to shopkins. I love they have workout wear and tee shirts all for 5 dollars along with work out equipment like yoga mats,Weights, gloves, small medicine balls etc. this is my go to store and it's not cheap looking gifts and gadgets although some items their you can find cheaper else where so just be careful. read more
