Such a steep decline from a former great burger place. And if you hand me my food in a bag why do you have your minimum tip set at 20%. I draw the line at not tipping Togo orders. So my order was prepared and the customary dump of fries was placed in the bag along with the order of fries and burger the cashier whispered to the fries guy and watched him open my bad and remove the extra fries out. I love Five Guys and it used to be a favorite place for our family when in the mood for a burger and fries. This is the only location close enough to frequent and the service is so consistently bad that we had stopped going there. We are currently moving so I asked the moving crew what they wanted for lunch. Unfortunately, they wanted Five Guys and I said "sure" instead of explaining the likely outcome. I would have been correct. I placed the pick up order. It wasn't ready when I got there but the completely disinterested girl taking orders told me it was almost ready and they were finishing it up. I waited and I waited. After seeing many customers order and get their food, I asked her again about my order. She SLOWLY walked over to check on the order and the guy near them said "yeah, that order has been up there for like 15 minutes." She handed me the bag and walked away like I had done something to her. No apology, no recognition of their mistake....just total lack of motivation to wait on customers. I won't return EVER to this particular store and would warn anyone who is in the mood for a burger. There are other places close by - go THERE and skip this Five Guys. This place is great! Great tasting burgers, delicious fries, free peanuts, and even cream soda. You can order online or in person. However, currently there are no rewards for ordering online. When ordering, the "Little Burger" is a regular size burger. The "Regular Burger" is a double burger. I recommend getting a little burger and little fries. The little fries can feed 2 people easily. They even have an option to make your fries Cajun. This restaurant is definitely worth eating at. It's so good. This is a great Five Guys! I called my order in on the phone, and it was ready and waiting for me once I got there. Once I got to the restaurant, I instantly noticed how clean it was, and the staff was extremely nice and courteous as well! My hot dog, fries, and peanuts were absolutely delicious, and the condiment section was fully stocked and didn't look like a mess. I was in and out with a great experience in about 20 minutes, and as such, would definitely recommend this location, and will surely be coming back! read more

I live closer to the Sandhill location, so that's the one I usually frequent. However, we were on Forest Dr. shopping, and decided to place an order at this location since it was right there. Our food was AMAZING. I've lived in a few different cities in SC, and I can say I've never been to a Five Guys that served a bad burger. But for some reason, the fries are very touch and go. Most times, they're either soft, soggy and undercooked, or if they've been cooked properly, they're drowning in salt. Not so with this location. The fries were PERFECT and they were everything that made me fall in love Five Guys to begin with! Like, we were all crunching the whole time like we were eating bags of chips! And the fries were perfectly seasoned with just a touch of salt. My mom is a tough critic, and not many places do it for her. But she gave this location a 10 out of 10 and even called me the day after to tell me how much she enjoyed her burger and fries! I told her I might have to come to Forest Dr. from now on for my Five Guys fix and she told me not to leave her behind! That is high praise, and this store should be proud. My daughter and I stopped in here earlier today for some lunch. There were a few cars in the parking lot and the people we saw were all sitting outside eating. Upon entering, we were greeted and we saw that all tables were set for no customers to eat indoors. My daughter and I placed our orders and then we waited for about 10 minutes while our burgers and fries were cooked to order. Once it was done, they called our number and then we went to sit in the car to eat. It was a little chilly for us. Our food was hot and delicious. The fries were a little too salty for me. My first time ever eating here. OMG the abundance of food you get is ridiculous. I got a bacon burger. It was huge, it had two patties of meat and bacon. Toppings are free and there were like 10 different toppings (b-bcue sauce, jalepenos, tomato, mayo, mustard, ketchup, and etc). I ordered regular fries and it seem like they must give you the whole pan of fries. The meal is enough for two. The wait wasn't that long. You do have the option of ordering online and picking up. I waited probably 10 mins and they call out your ticket number and you pick up your order. I watched as they prepared my order and I liked the fact they used gloves several times while I was watching. The staff was very nice and friendly. Inside: several tables and chairs scattered throughout. The staff kept it clean, someone was constantly sweeping the whole time I was there and it appeared spotless. I noticed that the refills were free too. They played 80s music. The walls was plastered with all the accolades they had received from newspapers and critics. Food: meat was well cooked and juicy. Fries fresh and hot and crunchy and not overly salty. After ordering I realized they sold cajun fries too. Con: Price. Its a bit pricey. My total price was $10 for burger ($6.30 and fries $2.75). Visited on a Saturday afternoon when the restaurant had only one other table occupied. The food quality was good, albeit pricey. Double cheeseburger with fountain drink, no fries, was $14.58. I appreciate the calorie info on the menu, and the option to have the burger as a lettuce wrap or in a bowl. The dining room was dirty, with a heavily littered floor. Extremely loud, with music on top of loud ventilation and hard walls. Catsup dispenser empty. Aggressively rude cashier Shaniya P developed an attitude when we asked that the single empty catsup dispenser be refilled. She then made a point of loudly dragging heavy metal chairs on the tile floor close to us, which given the ceramic walls and floor was annoying and passive-aggressive. The rest of the crew was pleasant and helpful. I am not sure who peed in Shaniya's Cheerios. Restaurant is far too loud to begin with. Five guys is always a good choice. This location, however, not so much. I called in an order and asked for a BACON cheeseburger with fries and expected to receive that, as most people would. James E took my order and misspelled my name which honestly I don't care but mistook "chad" for "gav" and then proceeded to charge me for bacon and when I picked it up they left the bacon off. Please please please if you are going to charge your customers extra for something at least have competent enough employees to include the item which your customer has paid for. $15+ for burger fries and a drink and they can't even get it right. The food, flavor, atmosphere was very pleasing, presentation of the food was Excellent. Great all beef hamburgers. My husband and I enjoyed our meal. The shop was both clean and tidy, having plenty seating. Staff members there greeted us in. The food was more than filling, loved all the burgers, great taste! I've been an In-n-Out die-hard since 1970. There are no In-n-Outs this far east so I tried Five Guys at the urging of my husband. Being a picky meat eater (it has to be quality), I am a convert now. Their burgers never give me indigestion - as all the other fast food chains do - the fries are fantastic (fresh cut) and always more than a "regular" fry order (We have to share it because it's so much). Admittedly, they rate better than In-n-Out with me, although a bit pricier, but worth it and still quite affordable. The staff is very helpful and very friendly, even when they messed up my fry order and had to fix it 4x during a rushed time. But that's pretty good considering we go there every Sunday and they get our weird order right all the other times. And I have to control myself on the peanuts before my food arrives.
