I was extremely disappointed with my experience here, especially as a beginner…read more Before booking, I called to confirm a few things: 1. Whether this would be a good fit for a beginner 2. Whether they could help me determine if I should play lefty or righty (I'm ambidextrous) 3. Whether my partner and I could take lessons around the same time I was told 1) yes 2) yes and 3) yes, but back-to-back. Which gave me confidence to book. Before the lesson, I completed the online questionnaire and spoke directly with the instructor, Rocco, clearly stating that my main goal was to figure out my handedness. I was assured this would be addressed. During the lesson, however, I was only given a left-handed club and never had the opportunity to try a right-handed swing. Even when I asked if I should switch, I was told we would continue with left-handed only. Since determining my handedness was the primary reason I booked, as well as something I confirmed multiple times, this was extremely frustrating. Additionally, a significant portion of the session focused on discussing long-term lesson packages, which made it feel more like a sales pitch than a $95 instructional session. After the lesson, my partners instructor asked me if I decided on left or right, and I replied that my instructor only gave me the chance to swing left. The other instructor seemed surprised. My partner did pick up a few helpful tips during their lesson, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1. However, we both felt some pressure to sign up for additional packages, and I ultimately did not receive the specific guidance I came in for. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location for beginners looking for personalized instruction or help getting started.

I went from barely breaking 90 to an 8 handicap in one season thanks to the incredible people at GolfTec. James (my coach) and Paul (the head coach) communicated everything so I would be able to understand and make improvements. This place is special and I am now entering my second season with lessons! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

I think we got our money's worth, and this year my youngest will be spending LOTS of time there. I always feel safe dropping the boys there to play, together or with friends, unaccompanied by an adult. And let me tell you, I'm a paranoid mom. I know where every sexual predator in the county lives! Yeah, I'm one of those. I worry, and I like to be cautious and play it safe. And, they are safe here, so it's great. Inside they have a shop, with various items one might need to purchase in order to play...balls, tees, ball markers, visors etc. They also carry snacks and drinks, which is great in the heat of the summer...when they've emptied what they brought to drink and are bordering on dehydration! I just asked my boys what rating they would give the course, and the oldest said 4 stars but just because it is starting to get too small for him. To me, that's not a fair rating, because we know the Little Course is exactly that...little. So, it needs to be rated as such. My younger son, who is the one who really loves to golf, emphatically gave it 5 stars. So, there ya go...straight from the ones who use it!

We wanted to try something we never done and with me with an urge to take up golf probably this spring this was right up our alley. The weather was ugh, very cold, lol, that's not their fault... that's on us! The mimosas were awesome! Can't never seem to have enough of them. We had made plans on somewhere else to eat afterwards and decided to just order chips and salsa and they were some of the best salsa and warm chips that I've had in a very long time. The service was amazing and everyone was so friendly and helpful. I look forward coming back when the weather is a little warmer. The games, omg the games! I think if we played games like Mario Brothers in golf for real there would probably be more people who would actually want to play golf... but it's super fun and we all had a fantastic and enjoyable time. Time flew by and we were actually going to prolong our stay after our server let us know we could until she found out someone had already reserved the spot. She was willing to move us but we were just trying to extend the game we were in and we ended up finishing it in the time allotted. We appreciate the offer though. Can't wait to come back and of course in shorts!

We quickly learned how to get the games started. I was caught off guard that there's a membership fee to get started, but I probably didn't pay attention to all details on the site. We went on a discount day, so it was affordable for us. Check these days out for more budget friendly options. The bay was cool enough for a hot day. I like the themed games, but I could see it getting boring for some players. The parking is free & outside the facility. Love: service (kind, helpful); bay space (open & clean) Like: cheese fries (crunchy fries with cheese sauce & bacon); margaritas (not premium but fine)

Received a free round after 4th full priced round. Pretty good deal if you live nearby. And the beer after the round is only a penny per stroke, for real. You just need to show your scorecard. The greens? So smooth you'll want to roll a picnic blanket out and call it a day. Honestly, if your ball doesn't roll true here, that's on you, champ. The layout is fun, challenging, and just scenic enough to make you forget how many balls you've donated to the water hazards. It's the rare course where you'll finish 18 holes and think, "Yeah, I could do that again," even if your scorecard looks like a math problem gone wrong. Bottom line: Hermitage is a Nashville gem. Great condition, great vibes, and just enough beauty to distract you from your questionable swing mechanics.
