Stayed here for a work trip and the staff was really kind. I came during a sweltering heat wave being from San Diego it was a bit rough. Really surprised the roof top bar has not an ounce of shade. Ordered breakfast at the cafe one morning and it was quite slow so had to pivot to take out despite being downstairs about 45 min before I had to leave. Staff is kind and the style of this place is quite cute.

Their fancy coffees are incredible! Best pancake and maple syrup too! Easy seating and parking too!

Metal bed frame.

What's the number one most important feature of a hotel? The bed. They had one of the most uncomfortable and noisy beds I've ever slept in. Pillows didn't smell good either. Metal bed frame stuck out to bang your leg on. So, regardless of other positive features, I cannot give it a good rating.

A friend saw this online and we decided to come in & grab a quick drink to go. I got a dirty chai with two shots of espresso and it was pricey but it was good try. My friend got a raspberry matcha hot and she said it good and would get again. Definitely good for being attached to hotel and still making a separate vibe.

Service is AMAZING, rooftop is a VIBE, incredible views, unmatched ambiance, the drinks are FIRE. Coming back as often as i can !

This is a nice place to stay in East Nashville. Definitely Boutique style, so don't expect the Ritz. Do expect quirky Industrial style and sparse decorations. As another reviewer noted, a few more lamps would be nice, especially at the desk. Anyhow, the beds are fine, the pillows a little overstuffed but overall the property is nicely kept up and is clean. The check-in/bar setup is unique. One thing to note is that the building itself is a little noisy, I'm guessing because of the heating and cooling. Bring some earplugs or your white noise machine. On the plus side, there were plenty of working USB A ports and electrical outlets. One whole star for the onsite free parking and the affordable price ( I used Agoda). I would stay here again.

This is my fav place to grab a bite and comfy work space. The staff is efficient and helpful.

Stayed here for 2 nights and the hospitality was very kind. Checking in was easy and they mentioned the amenities they offered. The stay included wine hour from 5-6 where you can get a glass of red or white wine for free. The rooms are comfortable with black out curtains, heavy blankets which was a plus for the cold air blowing at night. One of the elevators was broken so it was a little inconvenient waiting for it or you had to take the stairs ( they had different sets of them which was good ).

Grilled cheese and tots - literally one of the best sandwiches of my life
Priya B.

I love finding hidden gems and the food menu at Waymore's is truly one for the books. Billed as a guesthouse, Waymore's is more than a boutique hotel. Serving a brunch menu from 7 am to 2 pm and a bites menu from 3 to 9, Waymore's offers a number of options for something to satisfy your hanger in a chill and low-key atmosphere. I've been for brunch and lunch and feel like my experience has just gotten better and better. The grilled cheese comes with 4 different cheese that ooze and drip out as you bite into the sandwich, fresh crusty sourdough, pesto, and sun dried tomatoes (ends up tasting a bit like a pesto pizza but better.) The tots are crispy, salty, and perfect. The beyond sausage that comes as an option at breakfast is truly one of the best I've had. I can't wait to try more of the menu. Dog friendly inside, if you sit in their lounge area, which was wonderful as there are so few eateries that are dog friendly inside. Cozy lounge chairs and games throughout the area with hip decor. Small but tasty coffee menu (lavender honey latte is not to be missed) and I haven't tried their drink menu but hope to on future visits. Easy parking behind the building, making the experience so easy. Just a stunning, funky, and tasty place to grab a bite and leisurely hang out!

Rooftop vibes are unmatched

This rooftop situation is a gift to East Nashville, $15 cocktails and all. The bar staff was kind, the night we went had a DJ theme blasting early 00s emo and it was such a fun time. I'll absolutely be back to frequent this spot.

Booked a one night stay for my boyfriend's birthday, it was absolutely perfect. The bedding was so nice and cozy I didn't even miss my own bed. It's was very clean and a beautiful atmosphere. I wanted to make sure I picked a place that fit our vibe and wasn't too over the top fancy that we felt out of place and this really nailed it. I will say the claim of city views was a stretch but everything else made up for it

Mushroom dip and rose

I'm a big fan of hotel bars so it comes as no surprise that I like this one too! I've been twice so far and it's lovely. They have plenty of seating options: couches, booths, chairs, bar seating, etc. One time they even had live music. First time we just had cocktails and they were delicious. They are on the seasonal/inventive side of the cocktail scene. The second time I got a very earthy and delicious mushroom dip. Highly recommend! If you want an easy night or maybe just a place to start or end your night, this is the place. I also saw they do brunch but I've never experienced it AND a rooftop bar is on its way.

It comes with a lot of bread and is so good. Their smashburger is also really good, and the waffle fries are amazing. The drinks are a highlight too. I loved the skinny margaritas, and the frozen blackberry mule was so good. They have a really nice patio that's perfect for hanging out. The only downside is that I feel like they close the patio/space a little early around 10 PM, and after that the inside gets extremely packed and it's hard to move around. The mozzarella sticks were good, but a lot of them were missing cheese, which was disappointing. Overall, still a really fun spot with great food, drinks, and atmosphere. Definitely worth checking out for a casual dinner or drinks before heading out.

The service was quick and we picked up a t-shirt on the way out. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

When I walked in I, immediately, thought of Haven (RIP https://www.yelp.com/biz/haven-miami-beach-2). From the LED wall to the music to the drinks to the vibe... I didn't feel like I was in Nashville anymore. the back corner stands out and gives Middle Tennesseans something that's not readily available in this area. If you're in the mood for a little coastal cosmopolitanness (is that word? It's not a word), the back corner is about to be your new favorite place. The neighborhood gets things moving in the right direction. For as much as Germantown has (scenic streets, fancy high rises, coffee, good eats) it didn't have a nightlife destination. Putting one here makes a lot of sense. Building off the 5th & Taylor imprint, the back corner starts off fancy (but not pretentious) and builds to memorable. Upon entry, the first thing you notice is the LED wall and stage. With a changing display of electronic intoxication, you're drawn into a world far away from Lower Broad. If you can break your gaze away from the stage, you'll notice the upper and lower lounge seating. Intimate, cozy and a bit mysterious, the seating at the back corner lets you decide whether you want to be front & center or if you're rather sit back and take it all in. You can be as public or private as you'd like. If indoor seating isn't your thing, make your way outside to enjoy the fire pit and Germantown night sky. Just do us all a favor and refrain from smoking. Seeing cigarette butts along the patio or by (in??) the fire pit is not sexy and very off-brand. All the above said and noted, the back corner is not a huge space -- which is a plus and minus. It's a plus because it never becomes the cavernous mess of bass and desperation. The minus is crowds gonna crowd and with a lot of people, the space will be tight. I don't know how to fix that. I suppose a velvet rope and waitlist will keep crowds at bay but neither feels very Nashville. Hmm... Another minus (relating to the size) is that there's only one bar. One bar in a space this cool is a bit tight. I know the space behind the bar isn't huge but I would staff it with 3 bartenders at a time so as to keep up with the crowd. Because you're going to want to drink. A lot. The cocktail program at the back corner is a bit unusual for Nashville -- and very Miami. Expect rum, colors and a boozy punch. Actually, the menu could use a punch. Get on that, tbc. Re drink progression... start with the gimlet. It's pretty to look at and refreshing to drink. All the mixers, juices, etc. are made in house so you're getting quality fare. From there, hit the No. 4 and, then, the No. 2. If you're still upright, drink some water. Water? Who am I kidding? Cocktails! You're in Miami, [redacted]! Well, sorta. If you need some noshes, 5th & Taylor is serving up bites. Don't come here for dinner. Who eats food? Let the music and booze nourish your body. As perfect as the back corner is for DJ sets, live music (this *is* Nashville, after all) works as well. the back corner isn't the Downtown dance club people have wanted for a (looooong) while. But it is a welcome addition to the city's nightlife scene and, very possibly, you're new favorite place to go. Bienvenidos a Nashville.

An open kitchen with a wood-burning grill sends heat and aroma across the floor, so the whole space feels alive and warm at once. The staff matched the setting, gracious and sharp from hello to goodbye. The food kept pace. The sausage and cheddar biscuits earn every word of their reputation, we could have made a meal of them. We ate family style, which is the move here, passing everything so the whole table got a taste. Tara's halibut was the runaway favorite, our server called it his top pick on the menu and he nailed it. The mac and cheese and the brussels sprouts vanished fast, and the tri-tip with spaghetti squash and the delmonico rounded out a generous spread. My one small miss was the fried chicken, flavorful but a touch dry, the lone soft note of the night. The carrot cake ice cream cake split the table down the middle, though nobody walked away disappointed. Four stars, with only that dry chicken keeping it from a clean sweep. We left already angling for a reason to return.
