This place is an active scam. Don't use any payment method other than card. I put $5 in of quarters and tried to pay the rest by card. They charged me $10. For the dryer I used my card through tap to pay- .75 cents. Was charged $10 to my card. When you call the number it goes straight spanish. read more

This place has gone WAY down hill. Machines constantly broken, machines constantly eating money ($7 in before the machine reset and ate the money) and not allowing you to wash or refunded. This place is dirty and the attendant that's supposed to be there (even during her posted hours) IS NEVER THERE! All this plus allowing homeless to harass their customers while washing, the fact they refuse to turn on the a/c or heat and have gone up on their prices should lead to this place being shut down. The owners should be ashamed of the way they treat their clientele! Also their contact number they list on this website and others, along with their number on the facility do not go anywhere, their phones have clearly been shut off. The people of Five Points deserve better. If the owners don't want to run it in a decent manner then they should just sell it. read more

UPDATE: BEWARE, IF THE MACHINE STOPS MID-CYCLE YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND. Sunday, March 30, 2025 I went to clean my huge mattress cover again. I used machine #4 at the cost of $10.25. About five minutes into the wash the machine stopped working. I transferred my cover and towels to machine #2 at a cost of $6.50, because the others were out of service or had clothes in them waiting for the owner to return. I left a note on the machine that said out of service and slid a note under the office door explaining what happened. I put on the note the machine said"common error". They have cameras in the building and you could see me transferring at clothes to another machine. I returned to the laundromat on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, and spoke with the attendant about a refund. She asked if my name was Kimberly because apparently she had an issue with the same machine on March 25, 2025, as I saw the note she left for them. After telling her my name and the note was written on a napkin, she pulled it from a side table and walked me to the machine and said it's working. I'm sure it is once the owner or someone fixed it. She said she could not give me a refund because the machine is working. BEWARE, IF THE MACHINE STOPS MID-CYCLE YOU WILL NOT GET A REFUND. PREVIOUS VISIT: Had to clean a huge mattress cover, and the 8x size washer was perfect. $9.50 for hot water. Open at 7am and I arrived at 7:15 am and not crowded. I certainly will return. Change machine was available for quarters, or you could use your credit/debit card for washing and drying. I brought my own soap & softener, which worked perfectly because their machine was out of order. Family Dollar & Star Market on opposite side of building in case you need supplies. read more

This is my first time at this laundromat I feel as though a business can't do better if they're not made aware most of the machines don't work or coins jam and having to swipe your card multiple times to get the machine to start is nonsense cleaning the place won't hurt either I wasted a good bit of products changing machines wasted time not to mention it's hot the prices are egregious NEVER AGAIN !! My 2nd time here. Got here at 2:30 pm. Put 10.25 into 1st washer up front. And it took my money! Nobody on duty. The phone number is disconnected. No way to reach anyone. Most machines are broken. They will take your money then go out of service. I had to find the breaker box to my machine because IT WOULDN'T STOP!!! Don't bother trying to call for help, they won't answer. The BBB should be informed. read more

I used 5 Points this morning to was two oversized comforters. Plenty of washers and dryers available. The facility was very clean. The other patrons were very nice and polite. I had no issues. Good experience. read more

This place has gone downhill the last several months. Machines don't take credit cards anymore. Several of the machines are broken, and yesterday, folks were just sitting there vaping while I was trying to fold laundry. Will not be returning. read more

This establishment must be under new management, number one I hadn't been in a month and now almost all machines are priced up at least $5-7 dollars to use now despite having more machines out of order than ever. Management extremely unprofessional and rude - my machine reflected out of order AND stole 2 dollars not reflecting it had been paid to the use balance. once I notified management they were immediately unwilling to give the money spent to the machine back nor mark it as "out of order" as the owner made the remark that "thats his call" so at the end of the day the machine was left for use to rip off others. Ultimately after having to argue with staff AND battle the owner over the phone they did finally give me the money back but they argued that even though this machine said out of service they wanted me to continue using it instead of this outcome. this will be my last visit to this location there are cheaper and better ran laundromats in the city. I suggest you find it. read more

Came down here under the impression that their credit card option works. Only 1/2 of their machines were taking credit/debit option for washers. Dryers 2/3 were doing the same,Im not sure I'll be coming back here. The attendant was friendly although she didn't speak English and had to have her son or relative translate for her. Pretty disappointed. read more

A nice little place to go if you have to go to a laundry mat. I haven't been yet when there weren't washers and dryers available. The lady at the counter also has a small fortune in quarters if you don't bring enough (and I never do!) I love to bring a book and sit on the benches out front and read while the laundry is washing - it's some "me" time that I cherish. There is also a Dollar General next door where you can get laundry supplies if you're out. The only gripe I have is that they don't have enough laundry carts. I always have to take my clothes that are on hangers to dry and place them in the car while I wait for clothes in the dryer to dry because there are other people needing carts. They only have 4 and the lady at the counter uses 2 for the washing service they offer. :( One plus though, they have 4 boxes of clothes and shoes for super-cheap (like $1) that are in good condition. read more

This place is disgusting. It may be conveniently located to me, but I'll sooner drive across town to somewhere else. There's no air conditioning which sucks this time of year but that's the least of the issues. The place is filthy. The staff is rude. I dared to wander over to the gum ball machine while waiting on my washing and was chased away by who I assume was the owner's kid, who then ran over to the owner and kept pointing over to me like I'd tried to break open one of the coin slots of a washer to rob it. I didn't know the gum ball machine was off limits to customers? There's no signs. But still, that's nothing. Lots of washers are broken, most of which just have pieces of cello tape covering the coin slot so you have to really look before loading the washer or risk finding out the hard way. The dryers are the WORST. The absolute worst! I believe I counted twelve dryers total. And I believe I counted TWO in full working order. One additional one worked but did not emit heated air, which is all but useless. Dryers emitting cool air take forever. Pricing: washers: $2 per load; dryers: $1 per ~45 minutes (the dryers work kind of like parking meters where you add as many quarters as you want, one at a time... I was able to dry two loads of wash with $1 so do with that what you will) read more

When using my debit card to pay for a large wash load, I was charged 10.00! The machine clearly states 7.75. Not only was I charged 10.00 but I was actually charged twice...20.00! ... to wash one bedspread!! I tried to call for help but the number given never rang!! Just use change if you are washing here. I have to figure out how to get my money back. Such a shame to take advantage of people in such a way. read more

Clean spacious laundromat with the option to pay by card on each machine. Everything looks new and works well. My only suggestion would be a pay forward box where people can leave extra cash, quarters in case someone runs short. read more

This place was absolutely disgusting. I went there to wash a large item that I can not wash in my washer machine at home. I picked five points because I thought it would be clean because it is in a nice location of the city. I was wrong! First, as the other post states there is no air conditioning. But that wasn't the worst. The place is just dirty (the floors, the chairs, bathroom)! I retrieved my change from the attendant and loaded my clothes and started the machine. If you are like most civilized human beings, you wash your hands after touching money. I asked where the bathroom was and was guided to the back where there were flies everywhere. I even noticed fried chicken pieces on the floor!! Once i entered the dirtiest bathroom ever, there was no soap dispenser!!! Only an old bar of soap sitting on the counter. That was so gross to me. I had to run to the Hardee's across the street just to wash my hands. That place was hands down nasty! read more
