It's a great bar atmosphere with completely separate bars for smoking and non-smoking sections. The food is outstanding, cheesesteaks of course, but everything is good. All reasonably priced. Service is great, incredibly friendly staff. We also get take out there a lot, it's fast, hot and delicious. Love this place. They just don't make great bar food like this where we're from in Denver.

Asked about the golf they offered: it's a golf simulator. Monday through Thursday, $35 an hour, while Friday through Sunday is $50, flat rate. REGARDLESS OF PARTY SIZE. That means a person could be paying the entire bill if they don't bring a car full of people with them or plan ahead. Talked to one of the bartenders, said they didn't have a draft list, and no "gluten-free options besides Tito's that I know of" and that was a red flag for me. BIGGER RED FLAG: they have the bar split in half with a wall and doors to section it into smoking and non-smoking areas... and a third for takeout beer. I'm likely not coming back personally, but maybe for someone look for a new "watering hole" this might be a good choice.

If you're going to Curran's... You're having wings! It is a must. Top of my list of best wings around. Always plump. Always juicy. Always packed with flavor. The rest of the menu is bar food. Nothing that stands out, nothing we have ever had to send back. The Bensalem location is noisy, especially on game days/nights and the fans are HERE to CHEER, so if that's not your vibe - Curran's is not the place for you during those times. The staff is always helpful and attentive, and the place is always clean and comfortable. Plenty of bar seating and more than enough tables to accommodate all the diehard and Fairweather Philly sports fans. Currans remains on our go to list for a drink, a meetup with friends, a quick bite, but most importantly when that wing craving needs to be satisfied.

Five Four Bar & Grill has a large U shaped bar, stage for live bands, pool tables, booth seating,…read moretable seating and an area to have a catered event in a private room. They can hold 20-500 people for private events according to their website. The inside is dark and could use a bit of a refresh, but I wouldn't say it's close to the level of dive. It's certainly on the larger side compared to most bars in the area. The staff has always been nice, but service can get slow when the crowd size grows. Just the nature of things. Food wise the menu has a typical mix of pub grub - apps, soups, salads, sandwiches, burgers and several entrees. A friend was eating their jumbo Buffalo Shrimp off the starter menu and raved about them. I stuck to a Cheesesteak which was average but a deal at $9.50 -- the chopped steak was decent, cheese was good just needed a bit more. Hot peppers gave it some kick and the long roll was fresh. Their beer menu has around a dozen beers on tap. They dabble in more mainstream big beer/craft beer like your Goose Island IPA's/Lagunitas IPA, but do have a decent show of locals like Yards, Victory, Troegs and Weyerbacher. Bourbon wise I had a Knob Creek neat which was average price wise. The pour was on the generous side. Each time I've been here the crowds have been friendly and having a good time. The band we listened to was great and the sound was crisp. Five Four is a family friendly grill during the day and a fun place for adults later at night. Thanks guys!
