Along with an interesting clientele who seem to all know each other, it possesses a beautiful classic wood shuffleboard along one wall, similarly well appointed bar runners whose friendly manner and fun loving personalities make them entertainers as much as mixologists, as they dance to the jukebox 'zak. Although the kitchen was slammed when I ordered a cheeseburger off their limited menu and I had a bit of a wait until it reached me, it was well worth the delay. Served by the cook himself taking a walk from the grill to clear his head, it was the best half pounder I've had for quite a while. It was a perfect medium finish as requested. With lettuce, fat tomato slice and thin fresh red onion ringlets, the juicy flavor/texture was a masticating joy. Quality brioche roll, too. Crisp fries showed the small details were not taken for granted. But for the fact that smoking is allowed, Murphy's was five star all the way. The "pretzel garlic knots" wear VERY good however they were just garlic knots with no pretzel color or flavor. Very good garlic knots and a banging cheese sauce but not pretzel like we expected. We came on a trivia night and the place filled up by the time we were ready to go. Bailey's staff is on top of things, friendly and engaging. Located across the street from Richmans ice cream and burgers just by five points in Levittown. Bailey's is a perfect place for a quick drink, a late night snack, after work meetup, lunch, dinner or a night out with friends. It's a bar that's is so much more than "bar" food.

The benches are old church pews, mixed with charming little round tables and upcycled grey poopon mustard jars as flower vases. We did have the initial CASH ONLY shock before sitting down, thankfully there is an ATM next door, but that's always a bummer. As for the menu, the food is simple American comfort food, with a dash of potato pancakes. The price is very reasonable and coffee is nice and strong. We decided to get the 2-2-2 special which was French Toast, eggs, bacon for $8. And everything was tasty and extra crispy bacon. I won't give this place a full 5 stars because there was nothing that really stood out from the menu, it was solid but not mind blowing. The place being cash only is also a huge factor; they seemed annoyed I wasn't ordering quickly (there were only 2 other tables there on a Tuesday morning). I would return to see if other menu items have more spice to them, and if anything else for the atmosphere and coffee.

The major drawback is that it has no vestibule (there is room to make one). So, in the winter, you will be very uncomfortable in the cold. Each time the door opens, the entire restaurant is small enough to lose most of its heat. The owner doesn't seem to realize how much energy he could save by having a vestibule and there is plenty of room to make one.
