For the experience where they would come out to drive with the student, the instructor would sit in the car, simply telling you where to go, and not providing any feedback or guidance regarding things like right of way, merging, etc. Whenever my son made an error, he said they would only tell him he did something wrong, but never why it was wrong, or how to correct it. For a program that claims to teach students, they're not doing a whole lot of teaching. He failed the test the first time, and only when I taught him everything with some more niche things from online, only then did he pass on his second try. I would recommend if you want to waste even more time and money dealing with the DMV after your sessions. read more

Both of my kids took driving classes from Sam and passed on the first try. Sam is a great driving coach. When the class is scheduled he comes on time. He thinks through the program for each class. 3 classes was enough for both of my kids. We did them with intervals to give each child enough time to practice in between. This place has pretty poor communication. Instructor was great about scheduling and taking my money BUT drove off both times after dropping off my son before he even got to the door so I had no idea how things went. Also my son said he gave little to no instruction and it wasn't very clear. We are choosing to complete his driver training elsewhere. read more

I had one lesson with this school. Given that I am a beginner (and I explained such), I would've expected the instructor to explain road rules or give me thorough instructions. The instructor barely elaborated on anything at all. Instead, he quietly muttered directions, and sighed/clicked his tongue in frustration when I did things incorrectly. I understand it's difficult working with a new student, but this only increased my nerves on the road. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this driving school to anyone. read more

Hired 5 Star to teach my kiddo how to drive. Samim was great with Sam.... Very patient and kind. Gave her really great little tips about placement on the road and how to know where to stop for the crosswalks. We've recommended them to most of Sam's friends and I think they have all been equally happy. If I could give Samin 0 stars I would. First of all, he was very rude to my daughter. Rather than tell her what she did wrong he scolded her saying "why did you do that!" Second, he fell asleep for 5 mins while my daughter was behind the wheel. She heard him snoring! And lastly, I bought her 5 sessions, paid in full. At the final session he told us she doesn't have her permit although he took her driving 4 times prior, now he tell us he can't take her and we owe him $35 cancellation fee when he was the one who refused. I told him we will not pay and cancel other future sessions. It's not worth seeing him again. My daughter told me he tore some papers of her off. We never touched the permit papers that was staples together. I am terribly disappointed and will never use this company or recommend them to anyone! read more

I really hope the front desk would pick up the phone. It is very hard to reach the number they provided on their website. I purchased a 5-session package in 2020 and had one session. The instructor was nice and gave me helpful advice for driving. Afterwards, I decided to not continue with the rest of the sessions and requested a refund, and the school agreed to refund me. However, until today (the year of 2023), I still haven't received the refund. When I called during business hour, I was always directed to voicemail. Then the voicemail was full and I cannot leave a message any more. I am sorry that I have to leave a public review for this matter, but I sincerely hope I can receive a refund. I have not given up my hope after 3 years. read more

Sam was an incredible instructor! He was very patient and explained everything thoroughly to my daughter. They practiced everything from turns, to parking, to driving on the freeway. My daughter passed her exam with only 3 minor errors (the maximum is 15) and my daughter and I are both extremely happy! I'm extremely satisfied with Sam's work and would definitely recommend him for anyone who wants to learn to drive. Great Driving lesson for taking Behind. The wheel exam. I take my mom for a driving lesson, My mom was very nervous and she doesn't speak English, He explained everything very clearly to her, He is very patient and nice and explained every step clearly. Took driving lessons for 10 hours with male. I forgot his name. I think it was ok. I asked him to let me drive in the freeway and he did... which I kinda feel stupid thinking about it now cause why would I need to drive in the free way if I'm practicing for the test ? Idk the driver didn't say anything about it either and let me drive in the freeway. what I didn't like was the Honda that I was driving it was like a 2011 or 2012 accord. There was definitely something wrong with the breaks because my last 2 hour lesson the breaks felt different. He kept saying there was no problem but I felt like that's the reason why I was having trouble with stopping too fast from the line or past it... I did learn how to park and reverse. But I didn't like how he asked me the questions for the interior inside the car like where the hazard was, lights, etc.. he was talking too fast and low. I asked him to repeat cause I couldn't hear I have hearing problems and he didn't repeat it. I also was recording the drive that day on my phone hoping I could replay. But yea couldn't hear from the audio either. So that part sucked, cause I know in the test they will ask you those questions before you hit the road. Overall I just need more practice on the breaking part but I don't think it was me but the car cause I drove and practiced with other cars after and I was able to stop and go just fine. read more

He never yelled very calm and also give good and bad feed back and let me know what I need more work on. Friendly and flexible. They did a great job of working with our schedule, even when we were pushed up against the wall with regard to test taking time. If I could give them 4.5 stars, I would. The only knock was that the instructor consistently return my daughter back to the house 15 to 30 minutes before the instructional time was actually over. Sam was the instructor who first introduced and taught our daughter how to drive. It was literally her first time to seat on the driver's seat and hold the steering wheel. Sam was such an effective, calm, and encouraging instructor who made the learning process smooth, seamless, and more importantly safe. This review is long over due but if you are looking for an exceptional driving instructor for your young teen, give this school a call and ask for Sam. I researched so many driving schools, and read about instructors and Sam clearly stood out in terms of the feedback and accolades he was getting. From the very first time meeting in person, Sam came across as very likable, approachable, and instructor with complete control. Taking young teens in your car is no joke but he does that complete ease and confidence. That demeanor actually helps learning students too. I also found his approach very methodical in terms of how to go from simple maneuvers to more advanced one. We were so happy that we took additional lessons for my daughter, and it was totally worth it. My daughter got her driver's license in her first attempt, and we can attribute most of that to Sam!
