The fixtures seem older, the floor is polished but not smooth, the parking lot could use a repaving. Overall, just not the general awesome I've come to expect from Kroger. That said, the merchandise was in good shape and the prices were reasonable. I had no problem finding something to microwave for dinner and the sushi in the deli area was in good shape. While the building is not feeling like a Kroger, the associates working are Kroger and I feel like they're doing the best they can. Don't let this store give you a bad impression of the chain. When I spend hundreds of dollars on groceries, I expect a simple thank you and please come again at the very least. I expect all the items I purchase to be put in bags and not left on the counter. I expect to be charged the correct price for my items. I expect my items not to be damaged by poor bagging skills. I do not expect to have to tell a grocery cashier what celery is. I do not expect to have to bag my own groceries because there is no staff. I have an unpleasant experience every time I shop at these stores. I feel this is an egregious lack of competency on the part of the store management. And given the current price of groceries, this is not acceptable.

Besides chicken they offer other hot food that varies from day to day. In the cold deli case they have potato salad, chicken salad, jello salad, cakes, pies, and multiple choices of food to go. One of my faves are the pecan coconut cookies which are baked there and not too soft or too crispy but chewy and delightful. But I am focusing too much on the Delicatessen but this store also has a handy assortment of hardware items and paint. The workers are nice and helpful too. You MUST examine Aldi's produce closely as sometimes it is way past it's prime.... The one complaint I have about this location on this particular day was the cashiers were slow slow slow- snails pace. So, when it comes to Aldi be ready to get some great deals- check their ad before you go and be ready for a long, slow moving line.
