I had been a fan of Banks for many years. Shopped there exclusively. Last several years, bread goes bad too soon, often days after bought (stale, mold). Just recently cooked bacon just bought two days ago 6/21 and it was bad, exp date was 6/12 (they sold expired meat). Cucumbers bought two days ago were rotten. Eggs go bad within a week (float), well before expiration date. Will have to look elsewhere for staples. you need to get your s*** together Banks! Not enough that food costs 125% of what it did a few years ago, now much of it is bad when bought. You've lost a major customer and all the influence I have today. Surely more soon. read more

Saturday 11:15 am. I went to the Banks Grocery on Lone Oak Road to purchase a cake for my wife who has terminal cancer. The manager on duty was so disrespectful to me and even laughed at me. I really needed his help too during my difficult time. I Won't be shopping at Banks anymore. read more

This is the go-to grocery for the Lone Oak area in Paducah. Prices are bit higher than Kroger or Walmart, but still reasonable. The meat, produce, and dairy are pretty basic. Service is fine and I can say that I've never had to wait to check out here. That's something that I can NOT say about some other grocers in town. So you're wondering why 4 stars and not 3, right? So far, everything that I've said has reflected basic-ness or pricey. Well, there is a sushi bar. That's right, fresh sushi is being rolled daily right here in Lone Oak, Kentucky! It's quality sushi and you can't get it at any other locations in town. There are couple of good Asian restaurants in town, but take out sushi is expensive there. This is you place! read more

What an absolute great find on a drive from Branson Missouri to Nashville Tennessee. I've never been to Paducah and I passed through on the back road. It was a beautiful drive. Since I don't eat at fast food restaurants I saw this market I decided to stop in and see if they had anything I could buy to eat real fast fairly healthy and continue my drive I walked out of there spending almost $70 the highlights for me or seeing all these local farmers items in the store I will start with the farm fresh eggs. I have never seen this in a local grocery store before. Then I found Kentucky mushrooms lions mane in particular was a stand out to me. I couldn't believe my eyes. I found an amazing pipers looseleaf tea Moroccan style and the bakery the coconut chocolate chip cookies were out of this world amazing and for only a dollar a cookie. This is grocery store close to us and the only reason we go there. Aisles are not stocked with things you are looking for and when you say something they don't care. The management, most of them, are rude. Especially the young men are rude. And we pay high prices there to boot. It is a necessary evil. read more

If u dont want to fight the crowds at wal mart, this is the place to go . It is more $$$ but they have a great selection of meats , cheese , sushi, and hot deli foods , fried chicken and fish . We go here to get quick few items when fighting wal mart crowds is not an option. Friendly staff. read more
