Very nice guys, but they were extremely expensive. Had two new heads, had 4 heads moved. Told them that was it but my bill was over 1000.00. They said I agreed to two misters, idk. I wanted to discuss and he said he didn't want to work Saturday so never gave me a good time to discuss this. 4 guys were here which was not needed. When I got the bill, I was very surprised. The service fee was not waive once they were hired to do the job. They took it upon themselves to move a head I didn't request. Thank goodness I noticed and made them move it back. I called several Irrigation companies, Five Star came out after a few weeks. I explained I had a pressure and zone issue on one side of my home. The charge $35.00 for inspection looking at spray coverage etc. I said let go ahead and fix the sprinklers and replace any heads if needed. The first bill I was handed was the $35.00 for inspection. A few minutes later I was handed a bill for $990.00 and a third bill for $690.00. I'm sure I have great sprinkler heads and there adjusted correctly but WOW the Total was then $1,680.00. Itemized bills are included. At the end of the less than two hours of work, we notice the valve that changes from zone to zone was sticking. So, as they were jumping into their trucks to leave I was given the last bill for $398.00 to fix the valve if I wanted that done today. I opted out at this point, as likely my original problem and why I had called them in the first place. The price was a shocker and likely does not address the original problem as explained before, during, as they were leaving. I'm noticing there aren't many 5 star rating for 2019 - 2020. But there is one other recent review that is also stating the pricey cost. read more

We were blown away by their professionalism, friendliness and great work. We had two zones capped on our irrigation system for the installation of a pool. When the company that did the capping failed to show up on several occasions to redo the two zones we contacted Five Star based on their great ratings and the ratings were correct. They came right out after we contacted them for an estimate and showed up on time (which is a pretty big deal in Florida). They immediately started marking areas to make sure we have full coverage and Mark quickly gave us a printed out estimate. They also recommended some additions to our current system since they found areas where we lacked coverage. We agreed to the work and they started the project immediately. The entire crew was very friendly and they take pride in the great work that they do. We needed our back yard, side yard and a new garden area around the pool piped. The whole project was done in under two hours. They went over everything with us and everything came out great. I had a problem and was unable to get a response from my first choice to fix my irrigation issues. I found 5 Star Irrigation on the web and contacted them. Within an hour I received a response and scheduled an estimate for a few hours later. They showed up on time, found the main problem and proceeded to inspect the entire system. They identified a number of problems or potential issues and proposed a revamp of the entire system. I agreed and they came the next day (once again on time), and completed their work in about 2 hours. They cleaned everything up, did not leave a mess and were very efficient and professional. I called for system repair and adjustments. They referred Bill Conova a guy who does business for them where I live. He showed up a few days later and quotes me $1,500 for repairs to pump and new heads and coverage adjustments. Seemed expensive but I wanted it done so I paid. He did about 70% of the work he said he would do, which I found out later. Within 24 hours it was clear I was taken advantage off. I called him and he now said it would take three weeks to get to me. I waited three weeks and then called him for an ETA. After three phone calls and three texts he never called me back. I then took the project on myself and realized he burnt out my pump which I replaced at $800, replaced three sprinkler heads, and worst was he cracked a solenoid bonnet in the manifold. I had to order from manufacturer CA because no one sold it locally. He put in a starter from timer to pump and left it sitting on the ground when it was to be fastened to the house. Sloppy and lazy. He was a scammer and totally took advantage of me. Charged me $35 each for a 18 heads $20 for each gear drivers which he said he did 4 and $50 for one solenoid. He maybe replaced 5 heads. Not sure about the other stuff. Be these were 3 times the cost. I paid for labor on top of this. I then called back Five Stars to give them a heads up so they would stop referring him. The person who answered said he would have the owner call me to discuss. He never called me as well. So as I see it they are partners in crime and don't care about providing good service just getting your money. Stay away from this company. read more

Ok. Everything was great. Service. Owner. Son. I had my manifold replaced , a bunch of new sprinkler heads , Alls good. Excellent job. My auto sprinklers were set to go off wt 0500. So a month later. Im up at 5 when my sprinklers are set to go off ,, and nothing happens. Ok no fault to five star. So I call up after spending some $$. , and tell " anthony" that my sprinklers didnt go off , could somebody plzz come and check the box , and his response was " what were u doing up at 5 am". Very knowledgeable and professional. Mark (the owner) was straight to the point, he identified the problem and quoted a repair on the spot. He even quoted his recommended services. Which were mostly replacing sprinklers. He was not pushy. I was quite surprised at the rates he quoted. 10 sprinklers replaced at $35 a piece=$350 plus $165 in labor. Over $500 total. I made sure that I clarified the labor was for twisting the "bad" sprinklers off and twisting in the new sprinklers. I ended up just paying for just the repair I called for. Very over priced. Charged $58.00 plus labor for a $10.00 item. Charged $469.00 for $40.00 parts. Then they wanted another $500 to replace 5 sprinkler heads and control panel. I understand labor is high, but to mark up parts so much and then add high labor costs just is greedy. I am sure their price is lower than what a consumer pays for parts, too. I just love when a company does exactly what they say they are going to do! I asked Mark Bouren to check my sprinkler system. He said he would be out between 10 and 2, and would call 20 minutes ahead of his arrival. He called at ten minutes before 10 and was here right on time. He assessed my system, explained in detail what the problems were and proposed solutions to fix them. He provided a computer generated estimate with options, and then proceeded with the repairs on the spot. He even provided options that enhanced my existing system. OMG!!! These guys are AMAZING!!! Super professional, extremely hard working, very nice and easy to work with. My husband and I bought a fixer upper in Fort Myers about a year ago and put off fixing the irrigation system because we thought it would be too big of a project and cost way too much. Well, today they showed up at 2:15pm and fixed what needed to be fixed, got our pump back up and working, replaced all the sprinkler heads (19) and they just finished up and its 6:00pm!!!!! I mean ...WHO works that fast!!!!! ANNNND the price was very reasonable. They even let me do an interest free payment plan!!! We didn't need to replace the pump which I would imagine it could be easy for companies to say you'd need to replace it to make more money...but not these guys!!!
