Stay Away! We had them adjust our sprinkler heads. Specifically asked them to make sure our A/C, lanai, and back windows be spared from water damage. Our ground water is laden with salts, so it is aggressive toward any metal, and it leaves residue on windows. Keep the sprinkles off my stuff. This is life along the shore in Florida. We've lived here over 20 years, and we have learned to keep an eye on this. Davidson Irrigation lives here; they know this! Sprinkler water erodes metal and messes up your windows. No one gets paid good money for adjusting heads. They found a couple of sprinkler heads to replace. They promised they had adjusted everything to keep clear of A/C, windows, and the lanai. I never checked on that; I just trusted the professionals. -- Big mistake! This week, about two weeks after their visit, my wife asks why the lanai is wet and why were two windows covered in sprinkler residue? One of the new sprinkler heads throws water three feet into the lanai. I had a 180 degree head there, and he replaced with a 360! Another head pours water six feet deep into the lanai, covering the entire corner where the screen door is. That door has been replaced twice in 20 years because of the water that the wind barely blows toward it on occasion. Now we have direct corrosive water whenever that sprinkler is on. I give the screen door about three months before it needs replacement. -- On the other side of that 180% arc from that head we have a dry spot, all brown. The head that drenches our lanai also sprays onto two windows. We have lived here 23 years and never had problems to this extent. We usually pay $65 to $80, maybe $110 if there is a new head. We paid over $250, and it is far worse than when we started. So let's call them and have them fix it. ---- Are you nuts? Look at the one-star reviews here on Yelp. People pay good money for fixes, and the fixes fail. The company comes out and finds ways to charge you even more. I see nowhere where they take responsibility and make it right. I cannot tell you what they are thinking or what their plan is, but I can tell you how it feels. We made specific requests to keep the sprinklers off our lanai. They installed two new heads that drench our lanai. We asked them to keep the water off our windows. They made it worse. They left a sprinkler head that pops up three feet over a garden - left that dripping water, not sprinkling at all. That is another charge they can make when we cal them to come back and fix their mistakes. My expectation is that they will come out, fail to take responsibility, and then find ways to charge us more. That is the track record that is evident on the other 1-star reviews - READ THEM! I wouldn't call Davidson Irrigation if my life depended on it. When they show up, your condition gets worse, not better. read more

Do not use Davidson Irrigation in Ft Myers. They installed a new well pump that quit working in 10 days. It took them weeks to come back out and decide what needs to be fixed then longer to actually come fix it. Once's fixed (which they still never reset our sprinklers like promised) they sent us another bill for more parts and labor. Total cost $5600. Total rip-off. After reading all of the positive reviews, I thought this was the right company. Unfortunately, it was not the case for me. I called this company at 10am regarding a sprinkler leak that was causing flooding in front of the property. The rep marked it as an emergency and indicated someone would be at the house between 1pm - 2pm. The repair man did not show up to the house until 5pm!! It was an active leak that needed to be taken care of quickly. This emergency was not treated with the proper sense of urgency and created much stress for me all afternoon. When I inquired about the delay, Heather Marquez said her men were on another job and "We do not pull our technicians off a job until it is completed." Now how does this help me? They should not have committed to taking on additional work if they did not have the bandwidth to do so. Especially during an emergency situation. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. These folks did a fine job fixing our irrigation system. They came when they said they would which is an important attention to detail. The team tried a couple things first to try to save us a big repair bill but the initial diagnosis was correct. We had a short in our irrigation system and needed to have someone come look at it. We had used Davidson Irrigation before and had a very good experience. Once again, the technician who came out was able to quickly find the problem and fix it. It took 2 trips but he came back the next day and completed the job. As a single female, I know nothing about this stuff!! So, I had noticed that my lawn was always really wet and full of weeds. Then a friend told me that my irrigation line was cracked. What does that even mean??? Anyway, I called Davidson Irrigation and they came out the next day. I wasn't there for the service, but Joe called me as he was approaching my guard gate. He then called me after finishing to let me know he fixed the pipe, changed out 3 sprinkler heads, lowered a few that were spraying my house and windows, and they he changed the frequency in which my sprinklers will run because my lawn is damp with weeds. I just called about a broken pipe and had no idea about what else was wrong. I was referred to this company by my Neighbor after having constant problems with my new irrigation system that was only one and a half years old that Costal irrigation put in. My new lake pump had burnt out and needed to be replaced. Davidson irrigation came right out, and fix the problem. The technician did everything he could to try and get some warrantee from the pump manufacturer but unfortunately they are only guaranteed for one year And a manufacturer would not cover anything. The technician was extremely helpful in explaining to me about my system And went above and beyond to make sure everything was working properly. I would certainly recommend this company to other people that are tired of being nickeled and dime by other companies For things they really do not need. We hired Davidson to switch us over from well to reclaimed water. From the beginning, communication was lacking. After being told the job would be done by the end of the day, I came home to an unfinished job. I had to call them to find out that they needed to special order a part and the job wouldn't be done for several days. Later that evening, my bathroom and laundry water was brown and had intermittent pressure. We called the office, but we're only able to leave a voicemail. I called again in the morning. They sent a tech out and he said he wasn't sure what the problem was, and that a plumber would come out. No one came, and I called the office. They said they'd send someone out. He showed, but couldn't figure out where they made a mistake. Now we are 2 full days without a working bathroom or laundry machine. It is extremely inconvenient. I'm happy that they are trying to fix their mistake, but it leaves me in a bad position and questioning their communication and professional skills read more

Amazing customer service and follow through. They were able to fit into my schedule on very short notice to locate my irrigation well. Justin took one look at my sprinkler manifolds walked 15ft from the intake line and said dig here for the well. Sure enough, two feet later there is the well head!
