Hes got a good reputation but I don't know why. He didn't take my blood pressure properly. When I…read moreto.d him I didn't feel well on the medicine he asked me, seriously, what I'd like. This happened on two occasions. I'm not a doctor. He's supposed to know what to do- lower , raise a dose or change the medication. He doesn't return phone calls until you call him the third day. He sent me to a specialist who had no knowledge of my condition and ordered a dose of medicine Dr Seinstock took me off of because I had a reaction. When I said "Dr Weinstock I wasn't pleased with the doctor you sent me to" je hung up the phone! He should have found out why if he's referring patients to this guy. Rude and what doctor says "What do you want to do?" Doctors usually return calls in 24-48 hours. Doctors do not hang up on patients.

I have been…read moretrying to get a hold of my Medical Records for a Life Insurance Policy, and have been told the records have been sent. It is now one month later and my Insurance broker still does not have the records. I have been trying to find out for two weeks the status of these records. My Insurance agent has called and I have called and I get no information. All they did was give me the telephone number of the Third Party that handles the records. All my other doctors have sent their records and they were received within one week. South Shore Heart does not even respond to my calls. I was told the person who handles Medical Records is on vacation. This is totally unacceptable and no none seems to care. I have told my Primary Care Physician not to recommend South Shore Heart.

It's on the ground floor, which is about the only decent thing about it because you don't have to stand around in one of those depressing elevators with people staring at their shoes. ​I walked there, naturally. Parking on Queens Boulevard is a complete madhouse you'd have to be crazy to try and park a car around there unless you enjoy losing time and yourpatiencemeter is at full strength. Inside, it's clean and shiny and all that, packed with every kind of doctor you neef. Im not a fan of this whole big "one-stop shop" catch phrase deal, but its the correct term in this instance. You don't have to drag yourself all over Queens (god forbid Manhattan) just to get checked out. For my needs, t's alright, I guess, if you like getting all your doctor stuff out of the way at once. They have a great staff at intake and appointment setting, followup and referrals. It really kills me in a good way how convenient it is, even if the whole medical thing is not particularly pleasant.

I am thankful this is where I was sent to have my biopsy. The women at the front desk were…read moresupportive before I even arrived. I had several conversations with them before the date of procedure and they answered all my questions and help me prepare mentality. The day of, they knew who I was and continued to be as equally supportive. I have to give a shout out to Ashley. Talk about the sweetest and went above and beyond. I rambled horrifically and Ashley was so understanding. She made me laugh several times to ease my nerves. When the ultrasound tech came for me Ashley instructed her to take her time and explain everything to me because I was nervous and she did just that. The ultrasound tech and the doctor were very gentle and understood how nervous I was and met me where I was at emotionally. So my friends and family were aware of me having this procedure but I snuck away and went to do it alone after all my love ones volunteered to go with me. When I left the exam room I found Ashley standing at the door waiting on me. She wanted to ensure I was ok and that everything went smoothly. That meant so much to me. As a woman I have never felt so much empathy from other woman like I had during this process. Luckily everything worked out for me...but the way I was treated I felt I was in good hands either way.
