I am thankful this is where I was sent to have my biopsy. The women at the front desk were supportive before I even arrived. I had several conversations with them before the date of procedure and they answered all my questions and help me prepare mentality. The day of, they knew who I was and continued to be as equally supportive. I have to give a shout out to Ashley. Talk about the sweetest and went above and beyond. I rambled horrifically and Ashley was so understanding. She made me laugh several times to ease my nerves. When the ultrasound tech came for me Ashley instructed her to take her time and explain everything to me because I was nervous and she did just that. The ultrasound tech and the doctor were very gentle and understood how nervous I was and met me where I was at emotionally. So my friends and family were aware of me having this procedure but I snuck away and went to do it alone after all my love ones volunteered to go with me. When I left the exam room I found Ashley standing at the door waiting on me. She wanted to ensure I was ok and that everything went smoothly. That meant so much to me. As a woman I have never felt so much empathy from other woman like I had during this process. If I could give zero stars I would - I had a 7:30 appointment - received a ridiculous number of emails to be here at 7:10 and then no one was here at 7:10. The receptionist showed up at 7:20 (she claimed 7:18 but she was still in her car at 7:18) and didn't ask who was here first - just called up the other girl first and never me. Wtaf. Why would Lenox Hill Radiology in Valley Stream schedule a 'maintenance' to the screening machines during the time Lenox Hill Radiology in Valley Stream has patients with appointments? Why would Lenox Hill Radiology in Valley Stream offer an earlier time for an appointment then renege on the offer? Lenox Hill Radiology in Valley Stream must think mammogram screenings are a joke, or an inconvenience to whatever is going on there. They said it was calcifications and they were most likely benign and told me to come back in 6 months . I requested a biopsy and it came back as dcis stage 0 breast cancer !!!!! I would not recommend using this location unless you literally have hours to sit and wait for your scheduled appointment. What's more, if you need to follow up with them, you will be unable to speak to an actual doctor, physician's assistant, or medical expert - the only people who are available by phone are receptionists who will take down your information and never call you back. So better pray you don't have a follow up question or need additional support, and that your medical imaging shows nothing of interest. I have truly never had such an awful experience with a medical office, and would never recommend Lenox Hill. They are unprofessional, disorganized and rude. They have no commitment to their patients and are the epitome of a big business that loves to collect fees while offering zero patient care. read more

This is by far the worst location in the state of New York City (Hewlett). The receptionist is very nasty and unprofessional. They are always rescheduling exams. They never receive faxes from primary care physicians. Doctor's have to send paperwork more than they need too. Your appointment will be rescheduled 2 to 3 times. I wish I got her name of the receptionist, so I could add it to my review. The manager is amazing but one of her receptionist should not have a job at a lab. She's inconsiderate and Snotty. People come to labs with major health issues, looking for answers. There is no need for that kind of attitude. People just want to be seen and not have to deal with waiting every time for their medical script to be sent from the doctor. read more

Biopsy I would give a ZERO if possible but of course you can't. So where do I begin? I'm the type of person who always arrives early for everything. I was asked the day before to arrive at 2:30 so I arrived at 2:25 for a 3:00 appointment. Copayment was done and paperwork by 2:42 and I was told I was going right in. I was ecstatic knowing how anxious I already was having a biopsy. So now it's 3:15 and still nothing mind you my appointment was for 3:00. The receptionist told me she would check and never got back to me. 3:25 I asked another receptionist and she said well it could be awhile. I was told it can take up to an hour and the lady ahead of me had only gone in about 3:15 time out would be about 4:15. No one communicated with me or gave me any idea. I didn't go into testing until 4:10. Extremely unorganized establishment. How in the world do you not communicate with patients that could possibly be diagnosed with breast cancer? This is not a typical procedure such as blood work or an mri. My fiancé left work early and was docked to get me to my appointment on time and for what? To sit in a waiting room and waste our valuable time. To make matters worse, I already take medication for anxiety so by the time I actually was in the room, we'll damage was done so to say. Management did return my call and if I need to go back, gave me her direct number and she will deal with me directly. I really wish the Lynbrook office did biopsies. I chose Hewlett for location but seriously don't think I will be returning. Don't Go!!!!! At least not for a biopsy. read more

MRI scheduled through their central scheduling office for a Monday 12/17. Received a call from the facility saying their scanner was down & I need to reschedule. Rescheduled for the following Saturday on 12/22. An hour prior to my appointment, I received a call saying that there was no MD on site & since my exam has contrast, they can't do it without the MD. This diagnostic was needed for my surgery on 12/28, so they worked me in to 12/24 at 8:45 am. Arrived at 8:41. Paperwork completed & waited until 9:36 . I asked the staff what was holding up my scan since I was the first on the schedule. They were waiting on the MD???!!!! The MD then rushed through the front door & they told me I would go back shortly. The MRI technician was fantastic, but the overall experience was seriously frustrating. read more

Horrible! The wait time is ridiculous. Appointment at 9:45 not seen until 1130. The staff is not friendly at all especially the tech Christina or Christine. Bad attitude and just overall you can tell she doesnt like her job.A medical office should have people/ workers that want to assist and that are happy! if you cant be happy and don't enjoy your job, find another one where you dont have to interact with people!!! read more

I had a really bad experience here. I called the main appointment line around a week ago for a CT appt. Was told to come at 7:45 AM to drink the special solution and the scan would take place at 9:45 AM. Got there at 7:45 and started completing paperwork and paid my copay then sat patiently. At 8:30 AM, I asked the receptionist when I would get my drink. She replied that she was making it now. "But I will still get my scan at 9:45, right?". "No, it will be 2 hours from now". I asked her why she didn't tell me there was a problem when I first came in. She started speaking from different sides of her mouth. First, she said she needed to clear it with her manager. "Can I speak to the manager". "She just left". "Is there a new manager now?". "She doesn't come in until 9". Then she gave some sort of excuse about checking with the tech who didn't come in until later. Honestly, I was dumbfounded that she would have such little regard for my time and schedule that I didn't even call her out for her incredibly lame and unclear explanations. I requested my copay be refunded and I left. I will never go here again. There is enough competition in the area that I should be able to find one that has more respect for their patients and their schedules. I thought the place may have changed since Lenox Hill took over but it seems the other reviews from 2015-6 still apply. read more

This place is absolutely ridiculous!!! My appointment was at 11:30am and still at 1:05pm I have not been seen! No one told me before I got here that I needed at prescription for my echocardiogram. So I've been back and forth with my Drs office the the front desk here. This is so unacceptable. I heard bad reviews before I got here and I should have taken heed! Very nasty place both in appearance and staff. People are very unprofessional and who knows if they are even educated. Carpet in visiting area looks like it hasn't been clean...ever!! Chairs looks like they were pulled from the junk of dumped office furniture. Call your insurances companies people, a place like this should not be in operation.
