Found scheduling an appointment to be difficult. Tried calling and no answer, went to an answering service who had no clue about this business, Scheduled an appointment in person and then again over the phone to reschedule (both with the owner), neither made it into their calendar. I was told they are so busy they are scheduling appointments 2-3 weeks out, most other places I called for an estimate can take a walk in or same week at least. Owner took a very quick glance at my car and told me I was looking at $6k to $9k to fix, I have a written estimate from Maaco for $1900. "Good customer service" Progressive sent me here to have my bumper replaced after a fender bender a few months ago. While the actual office is a little hard to find because it's the house above the shop the people are really friendly and easy to work with. When I picked my car up I checked the invoice and everything was in order. But there was one serious difference. They actually did more work to my car then they billed me or my insurance company for! I car was washed and looking new again. What's more though is that several little scratches and even a dent nowhere even near my bumper had disappeared. Even three LARGE scratches across the hood courtesy of a parking lot chain had been buffed out. I asked for the manager who thought there was a problem and came out to look at my car with concern. But when I thanked/asked him why they had gone above and beyond for me he simply shrugged, smiled, and said "good customer service". I've been back since to have a small ding removed. At a VERY reasonable price I might add. There was a small miscommunication about the timing and I had to pickup my car then bring it back another day which was a little annoying but given my first experience I highly recommend them. read more

"I SAW IT! HE JUST HIT YOUR CAR AND SPED OFF!" Crushing. A friend recommended Accucraft for a free estimate. Kevin took a look at the damage and got to work. With some rubbing compound and elbow grease, he had my back bumper looking fabulous. Then he laid out my options for me (pay my ridiculous deductible, pay out-of-pocket to get the bumper back to brand-new, or let him hit it with a little touch-up paint and walk out with a 98% perfect bumper). Kevin is friendly, honest (perhaps to a fault in the eyes of someone more "business-savvy") and good at what he does. He is one of those rare people who believes in treating people well and being honest with them instead of trying to figure out how to nickel and dime them. He could have charged me for the work he did, or talked me into having it fully repaired. But instead he crouched down and got to work and showed me it really wasn't so bad... My wife and I took our BMW SUV to have some body work done on the front of the vehicle. The work was a little more complex, since we needed to have some of the park distance control sensors replaced as well as the headlight washers on one side. The staff at Accucraft was very friendly. Their estimate was one of the lowest we received, and they came back on time and actually slightly less than we thought they would. During the repair, they called to state there was a change in the estimate based on something they couldn't see during the original evaluation. In addition, they completed the work in five days, which was about half the time that the other estimates stated the work would take. Once we picked up the car, they reviewed all of the work that was done, as well as a follow up phone call a week later to make sure everything was still to our satisfaction. First review I've ever written, but feel compelled to share so others can be aware. There body work was great. They are not mechanics though and do not employ any mechanics, so if your car needs any mechanical work done I'd go elsewhere. They will however tell you they can fix it, then later tell you they are not a mechanical shop. They fully trust what ever their supplier sells them to put in your car. They do not even look in the maintenance manual. In my case their supplier provided them transmission fluid that is not approved by the manufacturer, and now my transmission is ruined. (Nissan owners- use only NS-2, not a substitute). We are in the middle of this situation. I'll update my post appropriately based on the outcome. It looks like others have had positive experiences with these guys, I'm hoping I can say the same and they will stand behind the work done while my car was in their shop. read more

While it only had a minor scrape from a parking lot mishap I took the opportunity to have the truck gone over and all the scrapes and dings from the last 7 years. I have not had occasion to use them for body work as I need none. However, my Escape struck a rock caissons a flat front tire a few weeks back. The guys at the tire store noted no physical damage but a few days ago I noticed a splash cover hanging down on the right front. A call to the closest dealer was futile. So I stopped at my local Fix Auto for an opinion. By he manager, Charles had a technician jack up my car and find a proper bolt to replace the stripped one. No charge and on the way in less than ten minutes! Great guys. When I need body work I will definitely go there. read more

I just got my VW back from Accucraft after I was involved in a "crushing" accident. These people are like bloodhounds for scrapes, scratches, dents, knicks, etc. When I got my car back, I literally didn't recognize it! It looks better than brand new. As far as the customer service, it is second to none. I called them several times to get updates on the status of the repairs, and they didn't get annoyed like other shops I've been to. Instead they would walk me through everything they were working on at the moment, which shipments they were waiting on, etc. They also called my insurance often to make sure all of the repairs were covered 100% so I didn't have to pay more than my deductible. I've lived in several different cities now, and have been to several shops in each city, and I am dead serious when I say: these guys are the best. I LOVE ACCUCRAFT! read more

I brought in my car for repairs after the ice storm. They weren't able to repair my car there, but since my insurance covered them they sent it over to a nearby shop that could and handled all of the communication and insurance billing. The nearby shop (Point S) repeatedly gave me ridiculous prices and told me I had to get parts repaired that did not need to be repaired. Fix Auto fought for me, making sure that Point S only repaired what was needed and everything stayed within my price range! I got my car fixed from getting rear ended, and not only did they deal with having to reschedule the repair for me, they did an immaculate detailing of my car and managed to get a paint streak off the side even though it had nothing to do with the accident. This place is an absolute gem. My husband and I had the misfortune of hitting a deer on our way to visit friends in Seattle before heading to our final destination of Boston (where we're moving). My Audi A4 was hit by a moving truck on the street damaging the front end of the car considerably. Charles was quick to give me an estimate when I dropped it off the next day and went over it in detail telling me where it might go over. He was able to also do some of the repair work on the headlight assembly without having to replace the whole part keeping the cost down. At the end the car looked better than when I bought it years ago. To top it off the cleaning they did on the inside and outside of the car was excellent. read more

These guys are friendly, honest and extremely helpful. ne day I randomly couldn't open my driver's side door. As I drove by I happened to notice this shop. I pulled in and before I could even get out of my car a man came running up to my car. I told him what I was experiencing and he instantly knew what to do. He said, "hold your breath and Ill be back in a flash!" I waited and in no time he came running back with a few tools and fixed my car door. He could have easily found a much more time consuming costly solution to my problem. He didn't charge me a thing and sent me on my way!! So helpful and what an awesome contagious personality he had! HELLLO ANYBODY HOME ??????? So I am writing this update to voice my frustration. After picking my vehicle I did a quick walk around. Everything seemed fine. I drove home and that's when I noticed some issues. There was a screw in the aft drivers side wheel well that was sticking out 3" so I gave it a twist and it popped out. I crawled under the vehicle and noticed there still was a bracket that was broken. There also was some wire harness that was just hanging out and not clipped in. I called Accuraft and explained the situation. I was told they would order the parts and call to schedule an apt. I was the one to call and schedule a time to drop off. Since no one decided to call. I dropped the car off and it stayed there for 2 or 3 days. I was called and told it was ready. This time when picking it up I crawled on the ground and sure enough only half the problems were fixed. The bracket was still broken clear as day. I was told some excuse about the part was returned blah blah blah. I'm so tired of excuses. Own up to your mistakes. I was told they would come to my house to fix it. Still no call. No apt. No sense of urgency ! I'm fed up ! What a FLIPPEN JOKE ! read more

I've been driving around with a half functioning passenger sideview mirror for a couple of years because the cost seemed prohibitive to replace it. Finally I got an after market one and went in for an estimate on painting it to match my SUV before installing it. Instead, they popped off the cover of the old and new mirrors and installed the old cover (since it wasn't the damaged part) on the new housing, made adjustments to the housing within the mirror and the posts hole on the door frame... all on the spot and for free! This place is great! Someone hit my car while it was parked and their insurance covered the repairs. I chose Accucraft because of the great yelp reviews. They don't lie! To repair the damage, I needed my rear bumper replaced. Unfortunately the other side of my rear bumper had some prior damage (i stupidly backed into something). Initially, Progressive refused to cover the full cost of the repairs due to the prior damage. I had already accepted and was willing to shell out a couple hundred more bucks to cover it all. Unbeknownst to me, John continued calling and arguing with the insurance company on my behalf. He eventually got them to agree to full coverage! On top of it all, he threw in a replacement to a cracked tail light at no extra cost. That's true customer service. 5 stars. read more

So I just bought a 2012 Jeep Patriot this July, and recently it's been developing many problems. The back door handle broke off upon opening as well as my heat going out weeks later. On top of car payments each month, this car is costing me a lot of money I don't have. Two weeks after getting my heater fixed, I opened the door to my back seats and there was four inches of water on my back passenger floor. It caused my speakers to short out and my electricity started flickering on my dash. I began to panic because of my lack of funds. My manager at work suggested I visit AccuCraft collision in Interbay to at least get an estimate on the leak in my Jeep. I called them and the man that answered said he would stay past his shift to give my car a look at. So I brought my Jeep in realizing I couldn't afford the hourly rate to have them find the leak. The manager would not let me leave without them looking for the leak first, so he promised me a lower rate. It took all day for them to locate it, but they did. They realized my waterproof lining wasn't efficient and re sealed my entire trunk of the car as well as drying out my trunk full of water. If the manager had not promised me a lower rate because of my lack of funds, my car would've been completely ruined by water damage. They were so friendly and they actually cared about my vehicle issue, I've never been so satisfied with a service in my life. They did an amazingly efficient job along with great prices.
