I love this place. Found them in 2008 when I backed up my Dodge Magnum into my truck and left a good ole' fat dent on the back of it. They took care of it in 3 days and I still can't tell anything has even happened to my car! They did awesome! We've been there multiple times since then (6 I think!) and every time their work has been great. Reasonably priced, good work, and a warranty. They do what they say. On one of our repairs we spotted a small drip on the paint a few days after we picked the car and they fixed it, no questions asked. They simply apologized. Our last repair with them was in July 2015. My husband rear-ended someone on the highway during rush hour and the whole front of his car needed to be repaired. Surprisingly there was a lot of damage even though we were doing no more than 15mph! We just dropped the car in the evening at the parking lot in front of the shop and called them the next morning to let them know. They took care of the rest, including dealing with the insurance company. Took a week and a half from the day we dropped the car till we picked it up, and the car looked like new. They did such an amazing job! Ruben is very easy to talk to, down to earth, and honest. He does what he says. They do a good job and stand behind their work 100%. I like this place. After spending an entire day getting over 5 estimates for my damaged bumper ( 2006 Honda Accord) starting with an internet search of local collision repair shops in the Escondido & surrounding areas, I called J & R Auto Body & Paint and drove to their shop in Vista. Ruben Barragan ( the owner) assessed the damage I had done to my car caused by miscalculating a wooden post in my carport. Rueben honestly told me the best thing to do was to replace the bumper entirely and he would be able to do this for under $500.00 in addition to completing the job in one day. The other quotes I recieved started from $500.00 to do a "patch" job to $674.75 to replace the bumper ( not using my insurance) or $738.99 if I used my insurance to $200.00 for yet another "patch" job with the highest estimate @ $1,052.93 to repair & replace the damaged bumper. By this point, I knew that J & R was the most reasonable & economical estimate and proceeded with the down payment needed to order the parts. I dropped my vehicle off @ 8:30 a.m. the following day & picked it up @ 6:30 on the same day. As a woman with no knowledge of the industry,I highly recommend this business and plan on referring everyone I know that needs collison or body work to them.Instead of taking advantage of my unfortunate situation- Rueben & his daughter were honest,professional,hard working and easily surpassed all of other businesses that I visited. I am beyond happy and satisfied with the service and repair from this auto body shop!!! She explained in detail the inner damaged areas from my car which could not be seen on the outside.
