Broken Part from my car left on the street.

Extremely disappointed. Car was running great before John worked on it, to change the alternator. Found a broken part that was left on the ground and the serpentine belt was left loose. Now the car wont even start. Would definitely not recommend. Either does not have the experience or the tools. Gave a receipt that does not even have his company name on it. Use him at your own risk. Will be calling Yelp for a resolution.

Update #1 Called…read morethe number the business advertised and the extension and it goes to human resource and is not a valid number for me to answer your questions. I brought my truck in to Tires Choice on 12/09/25 for a routine periodic maintenance to include an oil change and tire rotation. Everything seemed fine and normal when I left there that day. I drove to Miami two day later and my truck signaled a low pressure alarm when I was at idle. I pulled my truck to the side of the road, checked my oil and was slightly low, but everything seemed normal. I did notice they left a brake fluid dip stick on my battery. Thinking it was a fluke thing, I turned the truck on, put my settings so I could monitor the oil pressure, and continued to my destination. The light went off and no other issues. The next day I was driving back home and as I was getting off the highway, the same thing happened again. I called and brought my vehicle in, it was 3 days later, a Friday at 6pm. They took my truck back and had it for 20 minutes. When they came out to talk to me, they said the oil level was fine and that my oil pump was going bad and I needed to have it looked at by the dealer because I had a warranty. I drove it home and the light was cleared and had no issues with the pressure again. When I got home, I smelt oil burning, so I lifted the hood and looked at it. I found there to be no oil cap at that point, they had point it by my windshield and closed the hood without putting the cap back on. I checked the oil level and it was full. At this point, I was sure they added oil to it as I couldn't understand why they would take the cap off. I went back to the store and addressed my issues with the manager the next day. I showed him the oil stained felt lining, the oil on my engine, and the oil spot on the windshield where they left the cap. He offered to make it right and would give me an oil change in the future for free. Several days later when I was driving my truck, the low oil pressure gauge came on. This time I made an appointment with the dealership to have them check it out. Turns out that the issue was not an oil pump issue, but rather they out the oil filter housing on and didn't torque it to the specked out 13 fps that is required by the manufacturer. They guy who checked the truck out said that it wasn't even all the way hand tightened. This company is very unprofessional and careless with vehicles. I can't trust them with my vehicle anymore. I gave them a 2 because at least the manager made a half effort to make it right. Unfortunately, I'm out the money to have the dealer diagnose the issue because it wasn't a warranty problem, and I have to buy a new felt lining of the hood because it's soaked in oil.

I have never been to this business before. I ordered Tires online (Amazon) for my Nissan Rogue Sport, and this was one of the Installation facilities that Amazon Listed. I could also choose to just have the Tires shipped directly there. I did. When finishing up the order, Amazon booked my appointment for over a week away. So the Tires came in early and I went there when they oened this mornng (several days ahead of my appointment), and asked Mr. DiRaimondo if there was anyway that he could squeeze me in today? He said he had a full day, but he would certainly "try". I told him I needed to head to Delray Beach around 11am, and is there any way possible I could get the vehicle done before that? Not only did Mr. DiRaimondo hold to his promise - he got the vehicle done EARLY! Inlcuding changing all 4 Tires, Balance and doing an alignment Thank you Tire Choice and SPECIAL Thank you Mr. DiRaimondo for helping out a customer! That was customer service on STEROIDS!! I also paid a diagnostic fee. After the shop began the approved repair, I was told they discovered another coolant leak and that additional parts and labor would be required. I declined the additional work. At that point, the shop claimed parts were "broken due to age" and made inaccurate statements about how the vehicle arrived (they stated it was towed, which was not true). None of this was disclosed in the original estimate, nor was I informed upfront that I could be financially responsible if they started a repair and could not complete it without additional approval. The entire situation felt disorganized and misleading. Communication was inconsistent, details changed, and I had to repeatedly correct incorrect information. While they ultimately stated no additional charges would be applied, the process itself was unnecessarily stressful and unprofessional. A reputable shop should provide clear estimates, accurate documentation, and transparent communication--especially when dealing with expensive repairs. This experience did not meet those standards. Proceed with caution and get everything in writing before approving any work.

Advance Auto Repair & Transmission - Please Read Before Trusting This Shop With Your Transmission…read more I normally do not leave negative reviews, but after dealing with this issue from November 2024 through 2026, I feel obligated to share my experience so others can make an informed decision before spending thousands of dollars here. In November 2024, I brought my vehicle to Advance Auto Repair & Transmission because my transmission was slipping. After speaking with the owner, Frank, I paid $3,991 on 11/2/2024 to have my transmission rebuilt. About a week after getting my car back, I noticed transmission fluid leaking and had to return the vehicle for repairs. They corrected the leak, but approximately three months later, the transmission began slipping again. I brought the car back, and Frank repaired it without issue. However, shortly afterward, the torque converter (which is part of the transmission system) failed. The torque converter was replaced multiple times because, according to Frank, the parts supplier kept sending defective parts. Eventually, he ordered the part directly from the dealership. Unfortunately, after the replacement, the transmission slipping returned again. I continued reporting the issue, but every time we test drove the vehicle together, the problem would not happen while Frank was present but did happen when one of his employees test drove it with me for about 30 minutes and he cleaned a certain part that he thought would fix the problem, which it didn't. When I brought it back and told frank his employee noticed the slippage, we asked him but now he state he doesn't remember. Are you serious. What kind of shop is this. So frank again told me he believed I was "paranoid" and insisted the transmission was fine. Instead of fully resolving the issue, he extended my transmission warranty as a "courtesy." However, my concern was never about extending the warranty -- it was about properly fixing the transmission while it was still under warranty. I continued driving the car despite the slipping because I had already invested nearly $4,000 into the repair. Over the course of 2024 into 2026, I repeatedly brought the vehicle back regarding the same issue. Throughout this entire process, I remained patient and respectful, despite the ongoing frustration. My final visit was especially disappointing. After waiting for Frank to return from a test drive, he walked into the office laughing. I told him I did not understand what was funny because this situation has cost me thousands of dollars and years of inconvenience. Once again, he dismissed my concerns and told me the transmission was fine and that I was simply paranoid after we test drove it for only about 5 minutes. What makes this even more frustrating is that multiple passengers who rode in my car independently noticed the transmission slipping without me mentioning anything to them beforehand. Clearly, I am not imagining the issue. Before I left, Frank informed me that my warranty had expired, despite the fact that the original transmission problem was never permanently resolved while the warranty was active. Advance Auto Repair & Transmission advertises "100% guaranteed work," but based on my experience, I do not feel that promise was honored. After paying nearly $4,000 , which I'm still paying on and spending over a year returning to the shop for the same unresolved issue, my transmission is still slipping. Frank got paid, I still do not have a properly repaired transmission and I'm out of $4000.
