I brought my iPad here to replace a run of the mill cracked screen. They replaced it, but about 30% of the screen stopped responding to touch after. So I brought it back, they replaced it again but told me it still wasn't working, so they replaced the Home button. I picked it up and noticed the Home button didn't appear to "click" properly but ignored it, because I am an optimist. I shelved the iPad, as I only use it when traveling, but when I got it out to use it, the screen was coming off the iPad. See attached pictures. In the area where it was coming off the worst, the screen was cracked. It was pretty obvious to me that it was cracked because of the fact that it was slowly peeling off the iPad, as it hadn't been used, but I of course cannot prove that. So I reached out to Joe the owner, who said it's not covered because of the crack. In our text correspondence he used the phrase "Not looking to go 10 rounds with you." which I found amusing, that this business owner likens customer service to boxing. I will start by saying that I went to FiX Mobile last year to get my iPhone screen replaced, and the quality of work was good. The process was quick, and my phone screen works well; it hasn't broken since. But words cannot describe how upset I am about the quality of work that was provided when fixing my Lenovo Ideapad. My Lenovo had issues closing, and he told me he could fix it by replacing the back. But when I went to retrieve my laptop after the "fix," the sides of the frame were cracked, and I was told that my camera had been broken in the process. And when I asked about the cracks, I was told that they were "just cosmetic" and my computer would still work. He told me he would replace the camera he broke for free, but it wasn't replaced until two weeks later. On top of that, parts of my computer have since fallen off after the "fix," and now the inside of my laptop is visible from the outside. He offered to glue the pieces back on, but I did not want him working on my computer anymore. And rightfully so, because the microphone on my laptop no longer works. I went to join a Zoom call for my class and was embarrassed when I spoke and my professor heard nothing but a high-pitched squeal and static. I wasted $100 at this establishment, left with my computer in worse shape than it came in, and now I can't afford to get it fixed again. If I could leave 0 stars I would, I am a student at UNH without a car so I had to go to fix moble. the LCD in my screen broke and I was overcharged for a fake chinese part after being told it was an authetic apple screen. Ever since my phone loses battery quickly and my screens colors and light sensitivity are all messed up. I went to an apple store to confirm the screen was fake and they put it in paper, when i returned to plead my case i was asked to leave the store rudely instead of helped no way to do business. These guys are hacks. I sent my son to the shop because it was conveniently located near UNH. That proved to be the sole positive thing about this entire experience. The first red flag was that they never replied to any of my advance call or emails about my son's iPhone 7 port issue. Not a single reply from them despite multiple attempts from me. I'm hours away. Ultimately, I had my son go there in person with his phone. They were supposed to do a straight up port replacement. That's it. The problem is, if you don't know what you're doing you can easily cause other issues. Which is exactly what the first guy did. Somehow he screwed up audio out through the lightning port. And the port itself was loose after the installation. I told my son to take it back and have them fix their screw-up. After getting a run-around from the first guy that lasted a week or two (e.g. he was "out sick", "busy", etc) my son finally managed to stop by on a day that someone else was manning the shop. . I believe my son also paid to have a new battery put in while he was there to have the shop resolve their repair issues. Anyway, the second attempt to fix the port, along with the battery installation, caused two new issues. Within hours of leaving the shop with the twice repaired phone, the camera apparently began to flake out. And worse, the phone began having random connectivity/band issues. This phone was in perfect working order prior to the port issue. If you don't know what you're doing, a basic port repair can create more problems than it fixes. And that's the case here. I told my son to return a third time and tell them to either fix the phone or refund so he can have someone else fix their screw-ups. Once again, a runaround about when they'd be available. When he finally managed to speak to one of these two guys they basically denied any responsibility, refused to fix their mistakes, and refused a refund. I would not recommend having your son or daughter waste their time with this shop. I spent over 3 decades in IT. These guys don't know what they're doing and appear to lack any sense of accountability and responsibility. Phone repair isn't rocket science. I'd have done this repair myself if I was near my son's campus. Next time my kid needs a repair, I'll have him try the shop in Portsmouth instead. If I'm wrong here, Joe, and you have evidence to the contrary, I'd love to hear/see it. I'd be happy to retract/revise an incorrect review. I see in an older response from you here on Yelp that you claim all repairs are captured on video. Great. If that's true, I'd love to see the video(s) of the repairs to my son's phone as well as the post repair tests confirming that those repairs were successful. This mobile repair shop does a good job and are very accommodating as well as at a reasonable price. The owner was kind and was helpful he also responded to my email very quickly which was awesome. I cracked my iPhone XR screen and they were able to give me their "demo" screen as a temporary replacement while they waited for the more permanent screen to be shipped in. The only hiccup was that there was some miscommunication on when the screen was in, and I've had to come back twice and was told it wasn't in yet... I'm not sure if it was ordered late or just never arrived and they had to re order it. But minus that minor inconvenience it was a a good job. read more

Great service! Let me sneak in just before closing, got new protective glass screens over two iPhones, and out the door in under 10 minutes, all for a very reasonable $20/phone. These guys are hacks! They installed a new battery for my phone and broke my power button, cracked the screen, and messed up other inner parts in the process. They offered to replace the button but I had to wait days for it with no ability to turn my screen or phone on/off. When they did get it done it still did not work right. Now, just a couple of months later, the button has again failed completely and the "new" battery they installed is holding a charge worse than the one they replaced (which had lasted 3.5 years). Ya, sure it was a new battery. Now my phone is unusable. I was in their shop 3 times and each time heard them talking to at least 1 other customer about something they had broken during other repair attempts. Each time they were offering to fix for free or by "splitting the cost" with the phone's owner. I witnessed a total of 4 serious damage complaints in 3 short visits. Watching Joe work on my phone it was obvious he does not have the touch to work on delicate cell phone innards. He stripped screws, crushed frame parts, and forced things apart; not the way to handle a cell phone. Stay away from this shop. The guys in Dover are better. They have better skills and they are honest up front about things that might get broken before you authorize a repair. UPDATE: I am replying to Joe's comment here since Yelp does not give any opportunity to do so elsewhere. Joe: You are full of baloney. First, reviews on Yelp are, by design, anonymized so of course you have "no record". Second, I can't believe that the 4 complaining customers that I witnessed in 3 visits to your shop, 5 including me, do not represent a trend. Finally, I gave you a chance to fix what you broke already and you did not. You didn't even offer to address the crack in the glass and instead claimed it was already there. Plus, you sold me a battery that was supposedly new, OEM but was obviously used and already degraded and you didn't address that when I came back the first time. It is not worth the time and gas for another trip to your shop. read more

I had a great experience with this business! I called and they fixed my broken iPhone 7 screen in the same day, it only took about 10 minutes!! My phone seemed to be having trouble connecting with the new screen and the Nick made sure everything was functioning 100% before i left the store! Would 10/10 recommend. 5 star service, but they couldn't fix my problem. I brought in my phone because it wasn't charging. I dropped it off on Saturday, just minutes before they closed for the weekend. I got an email reply around noon on Monday. Sadly the problem with my phone was more than they were able to fix at their shop. Joe told me that they could do it for most phones, just not for my model. I was impressed by their fast turnaround time (less than one business day) and helpful attitude. They didn't charge me for the service and gave me some useful suggestions for what to do next. I will definitely think of Fix Mobile first if I have any problems in the future. read more

They showed bad service behavior after they fixed the better for my iPhone X. At the beginning, they forgot to install the screws they took off firmly after they replace my battery. Causing me accidentally broke my phone screen by putting pressure on my screen. After that, I came back to them and I didn't ask them to pay back what they did bad. Later I asked them to replace a new phone screen. The new screen is expensive and it's not the same one I had before broken. The display screen size is smaller, 3Dtouch malfunctioning, True Tone disabled.They showed me their bad behavior even I did nothing bad. I am a foreigner and don't speak good English. Another thing is I replaced my battery at their store sever times. The first time charged me 120 bucks, the second time 60 bucks. What a great deduction LoL. Thanks them I had my new cellphone coz the one they fixed for me is almost dead. read more

We dropped 2 devices off in Durham for repairs for our son. A Kindle and Beats Pill. After several months and follow ups (first time they did not write down our phone number) we were told that that neither could be repaired and that a replacement Kindle was being ordered and that the Beats Pill would only work when plugged into power. All acceptable responses except for the need for constant follow up. We followed up several more times with no resolution so my wife went to pick up both devices. The plan was to replace the Kindle ourselves and use the Beats Pill as is. When we got home it was discovered that the Beats Pill was also completely disassembled in the box and now unusable. They had from thanksgiving 2015 until February 2016 to figure this out. Poor follow up, poor service, poor resolution....poor review. read more
