I wasn't satisfied at all. I went in on a Monday to get the part ordered, I was told that it would be there by Friday. The part took a week to arrive. That same Monday, I was quoted $75 for the labor. When I brought my laptop in to be repaired, and picked up the laptop, I was charged $150. $75 for labor and another $75 for them to diagnose the issue with the laptop and for them to detect any virus on my laptop, after I told them the issue with the laptop and that the laptop has never been attached to the internet. I will not be recommending them to anyone and I will further say that the owner is a ripoff artist. read more

Brought my son's homemade computer which was having some problems and Matt looked at it right away. It costs more for them to look at a home built but Matt did an excellent job diagnosing the problem and fixing it still at a reasonable cost. I thought he went above and beyond with his explanations and advise. The computer has worked great ever since. I am glad I found this place with his knowledge and its quick turn around. A couple of weeks ago, my monitor turned an interesting shade of green, so I assumed that I would need a new monitor. I called Geek to ask for some suggestions and they immediately said that it might just be the cable and that they had one for a very reasonable price and that's exactly what it was...and no need for a new monitor. So, when my computer just simply shut down with no warning or anything else going on, I decided to give them a call. "Geek to You" has gone straight down hill of late. This place was once a great place to have a computer repaired at a fair price. That is no longer true! I took my $290.00 laptop (The price that I paid for it new at Best Buy) to "Geek to You" and asked the price to fix a software issue (at least that and they and I thought was the problem). They said $75.00 to fix it. Three days later I got a call that the Hard Drive needed to be replaced. Price to fix $339.00. I of course said no to that. They offered to recycle it for me, to which I said no. I then went there to pick up the Laptop and they again offered to recycle it. (WHY??..To fix it and resell it?) Then they said I owed them $75.00. FOR WHAT? Well they said, to find the problem. A lot of money just to tell me that the first diagnostic was wrong. I brought my iPhone in for a screen repair on an otherwise functioning phone. Upon picking it up on a Friday, I noticed the Face ID didn't work. No big deal, I can live without it. Then it wouldn't hold a charge, connect to ATT's network or connect to Wi-Fi. The phone had been ruined. I brought it back that following Monday. That was in September 2021. It's now December 2022. I spoke briefly with the owner, in January 2022, who said he would speak with his employee because he was unaware of this and said he would call me back. I waited 2 weeks, no phone call. I have emailed the owner and the "info" email. I have called and left messages with their answering service. I have only been able to speak to the person who "repaired" my phone. He assured me that I would receive a refund for the $270 they charged to fix the screen. It's been over a year still no refund, they kept my phone, and I never got a call back. read more

I like Geek to You. I brought my laptop in for a screen problem, and they were able to diagnose it and fix it at a reasonable price. Norm called me and explained in a comprehensible and non-condescending way what might be wrong and what my options were. Norm and the office staff were all very nice to deal with and did a lot of extra things that I didn't expect like scanning for problems and updating some security software. I appreciate the personal service of a local business that is nearby and is easy to access. I recommend them highly. read more

I was in a panic last week when my Outlook crashed and I lost all of my project folders on my business computer. I spoke with Mike on the phone, who was very helpful, and told me to bring it right down. He spent the day with my computer and was able to fix it and recover everything for me. The computer still wasn't ready when they closed at 5:30, so Ron (the owner) was gracious enough to come back to the shop an hour later and let me in to get it once it had finished uploading everything. Great service. I decided to call after my laptop failed me last month. All of the techs at Geek To You were easy to talk to and they were able to get all of my personal files recovered for a reasonable price, as well as give me advice on fixing my laptop. One tech even stayed past business hours one night so that I could pick up my files after work. I now have my laptop back up and running.
