They told me the tire was "totally fine"... then immediately tried to sell me a whole new set of tires. Meanwhile, the one tire I actually came in for was still leaking like a toddler with a juice box. The same alternator is publicly available over the counter through AutoZone for approximately $319.99, plus a refundable core charge. What concerns me most is that when I questioned the total at the store, I was given a $100 discount on the alternator price. That means the original pricing would have been even higher. While I understand businesses apply markups to parts and labor, a difference of this magnitude feels unreasonable and inconsistent with fair customer treatment. I also understand the local manager advised that pricing is not set at the store level and suggested I contact corporate. For that reason, I am bringing this matter to your attention in hopes of a fair review and resolution. I am simply asking Firestone to do what is right.

She sent her staff in to apologize and I had to remind her that the issue is with management as she saw me sitting there the entire time and didn't think it was weird that a client had been waiting for so long. When I told her she could at least apologize she stated she wasn't going to get on her knees despite me simply stating an apology was never received. In this day and age it's important that the right people represent your company. She doesn't seem to be the right person. Reconsider this place because management is the worst. Update: Loly proceeded to engage in a debate with me over the responsibilities of management. She seems to think it's not her responsibility to understand what is going on in her shop or know what jobs are being worked on. Ironically I never engaged her initially I was talking to the very helpful man that has the misfortune of working alongside her. I asked her to refrain from engaging with me but instead she wanted to gaslight me into feeling bad because she has three kids. Unprofessional, immature, and rude are the words to describe this store manager. I've never met a manager with an aversion to managing before, this is the first. I recommend in the future if a customer ask you to stop arguing with them, to refocus your energy on making sure your shop is running smoothly
