I was calling around for quotes on what was being told to me was a chimney issue. I was able to speak to Frank. What an amazing person. While other companies were looking to upfront me $400 just to come out and inspect the issue, Frank asked questions and talked through it on the phone with me. They couldn't have been helpful! I wanted to convert my wood burning fireplace to a gas fireplace. They helped me choose the correct insert that would work within my existing fireplace. After cleaning and checking the existing fireplace, they connected my insert to the newly installed gas line. Very satisfied with FJM. We needed to have one of our chimneys relined. Frank came out and gave us a quote. Best price out of the 5 different contractors we contacted, and he was using the same product to reline the chimney. He also took the time to educate on what we should look for in the chimney and what periodic maintenance should be performed. We've used other chimney sweeps in the past and had middling results. Either the wood stove got cleaned and the chimney got ignored, or only one chimney got a cleaning, etc. When FJM came out to reline the chimney, they were courteous and got things done right. FJM is top notch. I had several different chimney sweeps come out after i had bought an older home and wanted to have the fireplace pointed/chimney checked. Frank was head and shoulders above everyone else - in professionalism, courteous demeanor, explaining exactly what he found and his recommendations on what needed to be done. We ended up having to reline the chimney due to a crack (which our home inspector had played down) and also had to have part of the brick chimney on the roof replaced and pointed. We then had FJM come back and install a wood burning stove in the basement.
