Forever Floor - This is how they put all the baseboards back in...at least the ones they didn't break or completely scratch up or ruin.

The experience from start to finish was awesome. Jay provided a detailed estimate prior to…read moreinstallation date. Since we were in another town, Jay sent pictures with daily updates of the progress. His installer, Adrian, did a fantastic job. We highly recommend this business-thanks Jay for a job well done!

Perhaps the most shoddy craftsmanship and work we have ever seen. They needed to come back 4…read moredifferent times to try and it fix it and they only made it worse. We had two local flooring experts try to advise them and help them- but Forever Floors competency level was too low. So we now have the pleasure of spending more money to fix their mess. If you decide to still use them, make sure that you have in the fine print that they need to actually clean up after themselves, including sweeping and mopping after an install. You may also want to try the marble trick. You know, where you roll it on the floor to make sure the boards are level. Guess whose kitchen is completely lopsided? Yup, ours! But I guess that's what you get when you don't do the research! We even called Jay to come look at the work and found out he never looked at the job site site until we demanded it. His team of two left personal items behind ( including an interesting handbook on tasers, that they enjoyed reading instead of working on our floors). Jay kept promising to make it right. We gave up. BEWARE!!!! They do not know how to install install hardwood or engineered hardwood floors. We also had to tell them how to caulk a baseboard and they still couldn't figure it out. They actually put white caulking over the wood so that had to be redone too. So- if you want the worst in the business- feel free to reach out and I'll send you videos, texts and receipts of this nightmare company and their work.

We contacted Tile, Perfected about replacing the tile on our front porch. (A previous owner had…read moreinstalled slate and it was cracking and splintering in several areas.). Tony responded to my call the same day and came out to take a look at the job. He recommended that we consider a porcelain tile which would stand up better to the freeze and thaw cycles (vs slate). He also suggested that we consider finishing off the front-facing (vertical edge) of the porch with a metal trim piece and tile extending to the ground. This was something that no one else had recommended. Tony, and his assistant Alex, did a meticulous job of removing the old slate, grinding down the old adhesive until the surface was completely flat. They also sealed some cracks that had appeared under the old slate. They were very meticulous about laying the new tile. The tile installation came out better than we imagined, and we are extremely pleased with the results. The communication throughout the project was very good and Tony was very pleasant to work with. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the communication, quality of work, attention to detail, and the cleanup . If you are looking for a high-quality tile installation, be sure to check them out !

On the day of service, the technician didn't show up and we received no phone calls. I then attempted to call and received their answer ring service where I asked for a call back. Today, a day later.. I had to call them (again). I was told they missed my appointment and didn't come. Very unprofessional. Very disappointing

I'll start by saying I'm satisfied with the final product of working with Canyon Carpet One. I had…read morevinyl and carpet installed in my condo and both look excellent. Manuel and his coworker installed the vinyl, and they were professional and respectful of my home, as I was living through the renovations with family and pets. As a young woman, I rarely feel like I have such respectful experiences with people renovating and repairing my space so I really appreciated this. However, the lack of communication between the employees of CCO is an issue. An ordering fiasco with the carpet resulted in my vinyl arriving long before the final carpet could get ordered (I picked two colors that were both discontinued). Not a huge issue ultimately, just a bit of a delay. Beyond the confusion with the manufacturer, I was called more than once to say "we're coming tomorrow" with no regard for my schedule. When Ted called to see if I could have work done on the following Thursday, I told him no but Friday would work. He said he'd see if he could move stuff around and he would call me back. A week passes with no call, then on Thursday I receive a call from the office saying "We'll be there tomorrow for your carpet!" When I expressed surprise and frustration that I had received less than a day's notice, the woman I spoke with responded with a snotty "Oh, sorry." After the carpet installation (different installers from the vinyl), I found scraps of carpet left in closets, trash from the workers, and several nails sticking up from the transition between the carpet and vinyl. When I called to express my concern and get someone to repair it--as everyone in my home had stepped on these nails accidentally--no one contacted me until Manuel, my original installer, called me at work two days later saying "I'm at your door. No one is answering." because Ted told him I would be home, despite me only expressing frustration and a need for change in my original call. I never gave my availability. I know renovations aren't fun to live through, and I know projects such as these get delayed and extended constantly. That's the norm, but the disorganization and challenging customer service is not. As a big supporter of local/family-owned businesses, I wanted to work with CCO, and in the end I'll say I was fine to do business with them. I'll reiterate that the final product looks great, but I could have done without the extra headache of surprise installation scheduling.
