Mashed potatoes-amazeballs. My dad got a Rueben and the server recommended the onion rings-holy crow were they insane!! We could have just gorged ourselves on onion rings. Get them. Do it. We had our first night of our Christmas in October celebration at Flaherty's, and wow, what a space. There was plenty of room for our big family, about thirty of us, to gather, hug, and mingle without feeling crowded. The table setup was perfect, it honestly felt a bit like The First Supper in the best way possible. The food was good, hearty, and satisfying, and the service was attentive and kind throughout the night. It was the perfect place for a family reunion or any celebration that is all about connection and joy. What a wonderful space for gathering, laughing, and sharing memories. Flaherty's food is excellent!. However, when I paid in cash, my waitress didn't bring back my change and kept it for herself, which was a 30% tip. I told her I wanted change, but she brought the five dollars back so that I couldn't properly tip her. I then went to the hostess and asked for change explaining what happened and she accused me of being nasty to her. I wasn't. Her response was appalling. I was going to make this a regular date night place with my husband, but I have no desire to frequent this establishment ever again. read more

We came in on Wednesday night after after work. I brought my 2 years old babe and my hubby. I have been here before but its been many many years and we did some event. Tonight, we ordered chicken quesadilla for appetizer, Chicken French and stuffed Rigatoni. I wasn't expecting anything but wow! The food was very tasty, the acidity was perfect and the chicken was so tender. It was cooked to perfection. My baby who is picky when it comes to his chicken and he won't eat it of its dry, he ate a whole breast! My hubby was really happy with his meal also, we already talked about going back on a Wednesday. We had a very attentive server, as soon as we sat down someone had delivered some ice waters not only for me and hubby but my baby too. I thought that was thoughtful, the ambiance was good. Always a great meal to be had at Flaherty's. Best part is that they have Boddingtons by the can! I typically will order a burger and sit at the bar but I've never really had a bad meal here. Yes, clearly we were visiting from out of state but another was local- and the service was questionable. We all ordered beer and were not asked if we wanted another. Terrible service or a server not wanting to work...or get a tip. Couple burgers, hard to go wrong with a burger- the sweet potato fries were the stand out, delicious. A steak sandwich, which proved to taste better the next day. And chicken and biscuits- the biscuits were doughy and piled on mash potatoes- the gravy was bland and for sure missing something. We came here as part of a catered reception, so we didn't order off of their regular menu. That being said, the interior was lovely and very open and clean. There were mountains of cheese and crackers awaiting us, and the entrees (Chicken French, vodka pasta, and Italian sausage and greens) were well done. In fact, it was remarkable considering that they project themselves as an Irish restaurant. The desserts were unremarkable but good. The atmosphere in the place was wonderful, and I really wish I lived closer as I would love to come and eat here as a regular restaurant guess. We returned to one of our favorite restaurants after a long lapse during COVID. So disappointed. The lobster bisque which used to be the best around tasted like cream of mushroom soup with tiny canned shrimp in it. At $10.00 + a real disappointment. Didn't see or taste any lobster or sherry. My usual shrimp with pasta and broccoli used to have large fresh shrimp with tails semi- attached . These shrimp may have been dumped out of a frozen bag from a grocery store. Again , so disappointed. The chef used to make it special for me and they always had penne pasta. Nope. Cavatelli which seemed weird in this dish. My husband's beef stew was good except for the gravy which seemed like a genetic "brown" gravy, not beef. Some positive notes : the broccoli was perfect, the cream of chicken soup was spectacular, and our waitress, Kyra, was most pleasant and did a great job. read more

One of the more upscale restaurants in the Honeoye Falls area. Plenty of space in parking in lot, likely to accommodate events. Also plenty of tables inside, with outdoor dining available with nicer weather. And there are a few chairs in the yard that overlook the creek. Prices are a little on the higher side compared to neighboring restaurants. Good selection of items on the menu, including Shepard's pie, burgers, and the Flaherty plate (garbage plate). We've recently moved to the area and have gone several times and the service is always top notch. The bar is nice and the bartenders are friendly. They have a good selection of beer and IPAs. The menu is decent with several choices, from appetizers to salads, sandwiches, burgers, pasta and steak. We've tried many of the items and they never disappoint. Highly recommend! read more

We just started dining here this summer after discovering their lovely outdoor porch. We usually dine early - around 4 pm on a weekday and have always been seated immediately. The porch is peaceful, and we've never felt rushed through our dinner. Our two favorite dishes are the fish fry (offered on Fridays and sometimes on Wednesday). The fish is golden and crispy and the serving is ample. Which brings me to our second fav - the Julienne salad. This salad is massive, and I always bring home enough for a second meal. Fresh lettuce, tomatoes and cucumbers topped with julienned slices of turkey, ham and cheese. Literally protein in every bite - they certainly don't skimp! The servers are always friendly and knowledgeable, and make this worth the 40 minute drive on a summer afternoon. read more

Recently went here for lunch and had just a wonderful experience. The location is huge inside and it was very clean. The smell of freshly popped popcorn immediately hits you. We ordered french fries as an appetizer and they were warm and crispy. For main course, I ordered the chicken parm dinner along with alfredo pasta. It was absolutely spot on! Could not have been more pleased. My friend ordered the Chicken French and she was very satisfied. Our server was very good, never letting our drinks get too low and giving us updates on our order and checking in appropriately once our food arrived. Maybe we came in on an off day? We came in on a Wednesday evening. Ordered steak, a burger and stew. The steak was cooked perfectly medium rare but somehow was dry and completely bland. How could that be? We got a burger that had great flavor . Supper messy, kind of like a garbage plate burger, but great flavor! We got the Irish stew and it came out lukewarm and starting to thicken from being cold. Gross. The waitress was so sweet and attentive. I guess moral of the story is...... just get a burger? Idk. We went here on the way home from Bristal Harbor.... We had just gotten engaged the night before and we're still so excited and looking to celebrate. We decided to stop in on a whim. We ordered several appetizer items some alcoholic beverages. We were very dissatisfied with all of the apps. The most disappointing though was these bang bang shrimp. Black and clearly Over fryed. The sauce was not bang bang, as in not hot, abs it sure wasn't good for that matter. We sent them back. The atmosphere is nice.... But, Overall, we won't be back. read more

So we were hesitant about this place because I checked out the reviews. There are quite a few negative ones! We pulled into the parking lot and there were a LOT of cars, making us even more nervous. We were sat immediately and I loved the ambiance! Dim lighting, cute booths, nice setup...I immediately loved the layout. We sat inside, although there is outdoor patio seating that overlooks the creek (super cute.) We just said we'd take whatever seating was available- not super picky about seating, but extremely hungry lol. Decent wine and beer lists. Daily specials. We started with the crab cakes which were delicate and delicious. They came served with an avocado aioli that paired perfectly with my Italian Sauvignon Blanc. Often times, crab cakes have cartilage remnants that ruin it for me- these did not! I then went on to the crab and corn bisque. It was served hot (a must) and was hearty and flavorful. I ordered the southwest chicken salad for my meal (minus the tortillas and cheese with dressing on side) and my boyfriend ordered the Flag Burger. The food was prepared very quickly for a busy restaurant so if you want to take your time, space out your ordering. I have zero complaints about the taste of the food. My salad was delicious- the chicken tasted fresh and had a nice kick. I also sampled my boyfriend's Flag burger and holy geez, it was delicious. Messy, flavorful, juicy,massive (1/2 lb,) and perfectly cooked to medium. I was super jealous lol BUT I was also super satisfied with my salad. I ordered an Argentinian Malbec to go with it which paired nicely with the spiciness of the chicken. The service was exceptionally on point. If asked for something, Caylie had it out immediately. Nothing was forgotten, nothing was ever needed because she was super attentive. Servers like that deserve recognition (and a big tip haha.)
