It's a smaller intimate historic venue perfectly suited to host a wide range of theatrical performances. Tucson is incredibly lucky to have such a diverse and thriving theatre scene. Tickets are generally $47/seat (2024-25) and all seats are general admission unless you're a subscriber, in which case you get assigned seats. Note 90% of the seats are sold out to subscribers so few remain on wknds for individual purchase. Also ALL the best seats (again 90% of the house) go to subscribers. GA folks get the ends and the back rows only. Arrive 30 min before showtime and you'll get a decent GA seat. But know this too: there are truly no bad seats in this house. The "back row" would be 9th row in any other venue... that's phenomenal. And the stadium rise is steep enough that you'll never be obstructed by the tall person directly in front of you :) Bathrooms are spacious and clean. Parking in their large free lot is a sweet bonus. But the sweetest bonus are the free (donations appreciated) homemade cookies in the lobby at intermission )

When From Ashes to New comes to Arizona, I'm there! Even if it means Tucson. Previously, they've…read moreplayed at The Rialto, but since they were touring with Shinedown, a bigger venue was needed. I'm not a fan of large venues, but was hoping they would at least be coordinated to handle large crowds. Spoiler alert: they were not. The lines for VIP were not organized, and not let in at the time advised to arrive which is frustrating when standing outside in August. What would be worse after being let in for your VIP Meet and Greet? Being taken back outside to wait again... I don't book VIP to have to stand outside multiple times before the show. Even once let inside again, they continued to make us stand in different areas. Culminating to the downstairs where you barely had a foot on each side of you as we waited for the clear for the doors to open. Once the show started, the sound was pretty good with a decent stage set up. Though the chaos leading up to it makes me think twice before booking another show here. Likely better for conventions or other activities.

I came here to watch my first arena football game in eons, and while I had a good time it was in spite of the accommodations. As many others have said, the seating here is so old it's built for a much more petite cohort of Americans. If you are a larger person, it is absolutely unforgiving and I cannot imagine how they would manage a sold-out crowd comprised of the general population. The refreshments are mediocre (my popcorn was almost room-temperature) and I was waiting in line for 15 minutes despite arriving well after the game started. Even just getting here feels like a hassle. I took a Lyft, and the drop-off was far away from the entrance, with minimal signage directing you toward where you're supposed to go. It's somewhat intuitive, but for a venue of this size you shouldn't have to wander around until you stumble upon the correct gate. I really don't want to sound like a snob, but it kinda feels like whoever owns this place has put the bare minimum of effort into the comfort and design of the entire space. It's got the soul of a dead mall that saw its heyday in the 90s. Nobody actually WANTS to come here, they're just sort of held hostage by it being one of the only places capable of hosting certain events in a midsize city.

Drinks were available at the venue bar or the Tap Room adjoining. There was also a big water dispenser available. The staff were nice and seemed happy. I asked for a recommendation for a mocktail at the Tap room, and the bartender said water. My friend ordered a mocktail and she said he was right, she should have ordered water, the drink was not worth $10. It's always fun to go downtown for a concert, there's so much to see and do.

There was no clear explanation and no opportunity to order. The tap room wasn't full, and it was obvious there were people there who appeared to be regulars. Meanwhile, we were turned away without being given the same chance. We left feeling embarrassed, unwelcome, and singled out. As a group of Mexican customers, the experience left us questioning whether we were treated differently because of our ethnicity. Whether that was the intention or not, that is how the interaction made us feel. I hope management takes this seriously and ensures every customer is treated with respect and fairness.
